Day 2

🎶 Happy Birthday to you~ 🎶

Mrs. Perez birthday celebration is today. Her whole family's here and also some of her cousins that she dosen't remember are also present. The resort is full of people, it's too crowded 

"Hi. Are we cousins?" A guy asked Mazekin

He tried to hit on with a different girl earlier then later found out they're relatives. Their family is that big, they don't know who's who

"I don't think so. I don't know you"

"Great" he extended his hand "My name is Andre and you are?"

"I'm--"

"--Not available" said Dyle when he wrapped his arms around her "Babe is he bothering you?"

"No babe, he's about to leave"

"I didn't know she have a boyfriend. I'm sorry" he said before he went upstairs 

Dyle immediately took his arm off her shoulder "Sorry about that"

"Why sorry? You helped me out didn't you" she winked "babe"

"Why are you alone here?" Jess asked Deo who's sitting alone in the corner "Where's Dyle and Celine?"

"I don't know"

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah"

"You know you can tell me anything"

Deo sigh. 'Should I tell her?'

"I'm good at keeping secrets"

"It's about Celine... I kinda feel awkward around her because of what happened last night"

"Why what happened last night?"

"I talked to her about the kiss"

"What kiss? You guys kissed?"

"Noo~ when I drowned remember?"

"Oh... that's CPR though"

"But her lips touched my lips"

"Still, that's different"

"Yeah... that's what she said"

"It's not a big deal to her, why are you thinking too much about it?

"Not only that... we talked last night and of course I thanked her for saving me and then she hugged me"

"Why did she hugged you?"

"I don't know she's being weird like, I don't understand her you know?"

"What did you said before she hugged you?"

"I said "thank you for saving me, I was really scared, I thought I was gonna die" then she whispered "I will always save you" while hugging me. Weird right?"

"How is that weird?"

"She's not like that. We fight before not hug each other. It's making me feel weird"

"In what way?"

"Like very weird, it's hard to explain but when she hugged me I couldn't move but her hug wasn't tight. And my stomach, I felt like I wanted to puke but not in a bad way if you get what I mean. Also you know the feeling when you feel like there's a danger coming like you get nervous and all?"

"Yeah I get it now. That's normal" Jess smiled "Don't avoid her, she might think that you like her"

"What? No I don't. What are you talking about"

"She just hugged you last night and then you avoid her the next day... she will think that you like her even you said you don't so just be normal"

"Alright I will. Thanks Jess"

"I'll go to the kitchen, do you want to try the cake that I baked"

"Sure" Deo followed her, he was on his way to the kitchen with Jess when Mazekin grabbed his arm to stop him

"I'll go try the jetski, wanna come?"

Deo immediately shook his head no

But Jess gave him a look, he remembered her advice 

"You know what, I'll go with you cuz I'm not avoiding you"

"Look, I know why you're avoiding me"

"Y-you do?"

"Yes. But don't worry, I will not let you fall. I know you're scared but you have to face your fear and I will help you with that"

"Oh... yeah the water"

The 2 of them borrowed the other jetski 

"Hold on my waist"

"No I can hold here"

She grabbed his hands and put them on her waist "If you fall, the jetski won't dive in to save you. I will"

She started by just going round and round and then she started going straight. He hold onto her even tighter when she drive faster

"Slow down"

But she didn't listen. She stopped then they finally got to the other island

"Why are we here again?"

"I'll just get a banana blossom, I lost it when I saved you yesterday"

"What are you gonna do with it?"

"Give it mompe. It's a cool gift"

"No it's not"

"Just shut up"

He helped her get it then went back to the jetski

"You drive it, I'll hold that"

Deo drive the jetski because he don't want to look like a loser

"Can you drive any faster? We're moving like a turtle"

"Slowly but surely"

After 45 minutes ...

"Finally"

"See? You're alive. Slowly but surely works"

"Deo, Celine" Dyle called them "Come on join us, we're going to play a game"

They didn't say no to that

"So this game is like a spin the bottle with a twist. We will spin the bottle twice, 1st person the bottle pointed at will answer the question of the 2nd person, the 2nd person can ask as many questions BUT only related to the first question and if you don't want to answer, you drink 2 glasses of coconut juice. Whoever go to the bathroom first to pee will get the consequence"

They started spinning the bottle

1st spin - Nina
2nd spin - Fia

"My question is... what do you think of our guests?"

"I like them. They're all nice"

"Who's the nicest?"

"Dyle. He helped me get coconuts"

"I don't have other questions" she laughed 

"Your question is boring"

They spin it again

1st spin - Dyle
2nd spin - Jess

"Was there a chance that you and one of your friend liked the same girl?"

"Yes"

"What did you do?"

"I stopped pursuing her"

"Why? To give your friend a chance?"

"That too and I have bigger priorities than being in a relationship"

"Who's that friend of yours?"

This time he didn't like answer the question so he drink 2 glasses of coconuts

They spin it again

1st spin - Mazekin
2nd spin - Jerome

Jerome is happy because he will ask her questions and she can't avoid it like what she did yesterday "You told me you only had 1 ex..."

Maze couldn't help but smile. She knows he's going to ask her about it

"...and after that you didn't date anyone, is it because you haven't move on yet?"

"I moved on already it's been 2 years"

"You told me your ex broke your heart--"

"I never said that"

"What did he do to break your--"

"He didn't"

"Then why did you two broke up?"

"Because..."

Everyone's waiting for her answer

"...because he had to go to other country" she lied

"That's it?" Jerome seems to not be contented with her answer "You just let him go?"

"That's what you called "Love" Jerome. You have to let them go even if it hurts you like hell"

"How come he didn't stay for you?"

"Being with me was the reason why he had to leave"

"Can you elaborate?"

"No"

She smiled then drink the 2 glasses of coconut juice

"Argh Celine you're annoying"

They continued the game. It was jerome who went to the bathroom first so they gave him a consequence to wear a chicken outfit for the whole day

After the game, some of them went back inside to mingle with the visitors, some went to the kitchen, and some went to rest

"Where's Celine?" Dyle asked Deo

"I don't know. Maybe at the--over there"

He saw Mazekin sitting on the wood



He sit next to Maze "Hey why are you alone?"

Deo sit on her right "It's the view isn't it?"

"It's just too crowded over there"

The 3 of them have their own bottle of beer. They're drinking while chatting 

"So... can you tell us more about you ex?" Dyle asked

"I already told y'all didn't I?"

"Were you telling the truth?"

Maze put her bottle down "Do you want me to ask who's the girl--"

"Nevermind I won't ask"

Deo started laughing "I can't imagine it, someone dated you, does he know you punched like a guy?"

"Maybe the reason why your ex left you is because--"

"He never had a girlfriend" said Dyle

"YA!! DON'T--"

"Woah really?"

"No! Sto--"

"Yes. Henry showed me a pic of his crushes before here look"

"Nooo"

"Lemme see?" But Deo stopped her

"Dyle imma kill you!!"

Deo tried to take the phone, Dyle had to run away from him, Maze just smiles while watching them

The party lasted until 10 p.m. 

Tonight is their flight, they packed their bags and bid goodbye 

"We are glad to have you as our guest. We'll gonna miss you" they waved at Mazekin, Dyle and Deo

Jess hugged each of them "Come back whenever you can, you are welcome here"

"Thank you, Good Bye"

12:55 a.m. is their flight. It was a long flight

They got to the apartment on the afternoon and they just rest the whole day

They are more comfortable now to each other as if they never kicked each other's back then

Monday at School

"Dyle what's the answer for #5?" She asked

"B" he whispered to Maze

"B" Maze whispered to Deo

Look at them, they never learn. Didn't they got suspended for "plagiarism" last week? Now they're copying each other's exam answers 

Oh by the way, Crystal confessed to the Principal that it was her who gave the USB to John. Both of then got detention for doing that but Crystal is happy because Dyle won't be kicked out anymore 

Deo: why'd you stopped giving me answers earlier?

Maze: You can't copy everything they will get suspicious. They know you're not that smart

Deo: Ya! that's mean. You heard her?

Dyle: I agree with her--

Deo: Seriously!

Dyle: --that it'll look suspicious 

Maze: is he smart though?

Deo: Shut up would ya

Maze: I'm just saying

Deo: you're not smart either 

The 3 of them went to the cafeteria

Dyle: just eat with us

Deo: we have our own table

Maze: call them then

Deo: Demn you so bossy 

He did it anyway 

Yulo: Maze where have you been?

Maze: Vacation

They sit and then Deo and his friends join them 

Kyle: are you friends with them now?

Maze: Jun come sit next to me

But Jun ignored her

Maze: come on Mr. V--

Jun: coming

They all laughed 

Dyle: Mr what?

Maze: Mr. Visual cuz he's so handsome

Jun: I know I am

Their table is the loudest because they joke around too much and they laugh too loud

Yong: hey did you guys signed up for the upcoming camping?

"Not yet" the 3 of them said

Chan: make sure you sign up because today is the last day
