[Grocery Store]

"Potato chips or tortilla chips?" Crystal asked 

"Both"

Deo promised to help her buy some food and drinks for Lia's party tomorrow night

"What alcohol do you guys preferred?"

"Alcohol? Are we allowed?"

"Yeah, her parents won't be there so it's fine" she put the bottles on the cart "A party with no alcohol is no fun"

"I know... I just got surprised, I thought you don't like drinking"

"I drink but moderately. Hold on, I'll go ask Maria about the snacks"

She's always on her phone, Deo followed looking bored

"Mommy buy me this chocolate milk"

He heard the kid. The chocolate milk reminds him of someone and he couldn't help but smile

"Mazekin dela Pierce"

"Hectoru"

They shake  hands

"I'm glad to see you. I heard you're going to lay low until we find the mole?"

"I still am but I came here to personally see you. You're that important"

"I'm flattered. Take a seat. Any drinks you like?"

"The same old"

He prepared her drink "What brings you here Mazekin?"

"I wanted to know if you're still on our side after what happened to you and Kiall"

"I honestly don't like that guy. Libero members are arrogant as , they all act superior! they can't deal with people! but you're diff"

"That's why I'm the boss. But don't worry, I already talked to him. It will never happen again, I assure you"

"So who will replace him?"

"I'm not going to replace him, he's my right hand Hectoru you know that. You can trust my word, he won't do such thing again"

He sigh "he better not because I can have him killed anytime"

"Be careful of your words Hectoru. He's still a member of Libero"

"Fine I'm sorry. I just never liked him"

"What can I say? He's a hot headed guy just like you"

"He's worst"

"I will not disagree"

"I'll drop you home"

"No it's okay.  I'll just take an uber"

"No. I insist"

Deo had no choice but to tell her his address. He wanted to talk to her but she's talking to her friend on the phone

"Girl I broke up with him, he's boring and kiss like a kid"

He can hear the whole conversation because it's on a speaker

Speaking of Kiss, he remember that night again. Whenever he hear the word Kiss, Lips, Celine, the kiss that they shared always flashback 

"This is where you live?" Crystal asked "You and Dyle live together?"

"It's an apartment. How'd you know?"

"I followed him one time" 

"Like... a stalker?"

"No cuz he knows I'm following him"

They get out of the car

"Deo can I ask you a favor?"

"Yeah. What is it?"

"Can you bring Dyle with you tomorrow night?"

"Sure"

She kissed him on the cheek "thank you"

"Boss is that Deo and Crystal?"

"Yes"

They're watching Deo and Crystal from afar 

"They're flirting"

"Boss, they're just talking" 

But then they saw Crystal kissed Deo. Hard to see where because of the angle

"I told you" she said "you made me feel guilty for what I told him but look at him now"

Her face is serious, she looks annoyed

"I'm sorry...?" Yulo don't know what he said wrong to pissed her like that

"She just left, drop me in front"

And he did. He stopped the car in front of Deo. 

She got out, slammed the car door and entered the house without looking at him

"What's her problem?" Deo asked Yulo

"She's probably on her period"

Deo entered the house, put his chocolate milk on the fridge and knocked on Dyle's room

"Deo"

"Dyle would you like to go to a party?"

"Nope"

"It will be quick"

"I have homework to do"

"Not tonight,  tomorrow night. I promised Crystal that you'll go with me"

He sigh "Fine I'll go if Celine go"

Mazekin got out of her room then she locked it

"Celine where are you going?" Dyle asked

"To get a drink, wanna go?"

"No. But I will go to a party tomorrow night, would you like to go with me?"

"Sure"

Then she left the house

"We're going" he told Deo who's just standing next to him "Are you two avoiding each other? What happened?"

"Nothing happened. Good Night"

11:00 pm 

Shes's still not home. He's on his room but he's fully awake, patiently waiting for her

12:00 mn

He's in the living room, the television is on but he's looking at the door, he's still waiting for her

1:00 am

The door opened, Mazekin entered 

He acted like he's watching, definitely not waiting for her

"You like cupcakes?" She asked randomly 

"Huh?"

She pointed at the television, it's a cooking show and they're teaching how to do a cupcake 

"Oh yeah, I love cupcakes with icing"

"You stayed up late just to watch that when you can watch that on YouTube. Weirdo"

She started walking like there's an earthquake with a 3.0 magnitude 

"Are you drunk?"

"No" 

He turned off the television when he heard her puke in the bathroom

He filled the glass with water and give it to her "Here drink this"

But she's not done yet so he's standing there, holding the glass while holding her hair up

"Are you done? Here drink this--no no don't, that's not your bed"

He put the glass down and carried her  bridal style

He put her on his bed "Where's your key? I need to open your room"

She gave him the key, he opened her room and carried her again to put her on her own bed

He fixed her blanket and kissed her on the forehead "Good Night"

The next morning...

Mazekin woke up with a hang over

"Celine would you like some soup? Deo told me you were drunk last night"

"I wasn't drunk mompe, I just had an upset stomach"

She opened the fridge and saw the chocolate milk

"Can I have some chocolate milk?"

"Sweetie that's not mine. You can get one, I'll just tell Deo"

"No. I'll just buy one"

She missed 2 classes ready but she dropped by the convenience store to buy a chocolate milk before sh go school

Yulo was about to give her a call when be saw her walking towards him

"Maze, I've been calling you"

"My phone's on silent"

"The professors where looking for you and the couch--"

"Celine Maze... you're late" the couch called her "come here"

"I was--"

"I don't care. You're late. Go run 3 lapse"

"Three?!?"

"You want 4 lapse instead? Go run now"



She started jogging while her classmates are stretching 

"Celine Can't You Run Any Faster?" The couch shouted 

She shouted back "I Can't. I Have Period"

That's her excuse but her wound might bleed is she pushed herself

The couch made the boys play soccer first while the girls are watching 

"Deo, Dyle, Yulo... focus on the game" couch said

He noticed that their attention is on the run on the side, even Crystal noticed it

Mazekin was on the tracking field until the boys finished their game

"Girls your turn. CELINE That's Enough"

Mazekin walked towards them, she's sweating

He divided them into 2 groups, Crystal's Team vs. Celine's Team

The game started. Crystal played the game seriously, she's eager to win

Mazekin wants to win too but it's not a big deal to her if she lose and she can't really run

"Celine run faster, they're already over there"

"Relax couch, they'll run back here cuz of that" she pointed at the net

She smiled at the goalkeeper and the next thing that happened...

She's laying on the grass, screaming in pain

Deo was about to run towards her but Dyle did it first

"Celine are you okay?" He asked

Yulo pushed him off a little "I'll bring her to the clinic"

Everyone looked at him when he carried Mazekin alone and run towards inside

"Why'd you do that?" Dyle confronted Crystal 

"Why are you blaming me?"

"You did that on purpose"

"Dyle stop" the couch stand in the middle "It's not Crystal's fault. It was an accident, situations like that really happen while  playing soccer"

 

[School Clinic]

"What happened?!" The nurse asked

"Her wound opened, you just gotta--no let me do it"

"What?"

"I'll do it. Just sit on the side"

"You can't do that!"

"I Said--"

"Yulo..." she stopped him "Let her do it"

Yulo stood by her side, watching the nurse do her job

"It's done" the nurse put a bandage on her

"Thank you" she told the nurse "Yulo I wanna rest on my own bed"

"Alright. We'll go home"

Yulo and Mazekin skipped school, they went to the villa 

"Please call me if you need anything"

He turned off the lights and closed the door. He let her have a peaceful sleep

After 4 hours.

*Knock Knock*

"Come in"

Yulo entered with a tray "I bought a soup"

"I'm not really hungry"

"I see... how's your wound, does it still hurt?"

"A little"

"Can I change the bandage?"

Mazekin let him changed the bandage.  The ball really hit her hard that's why her wound opened and bleed a lot

"Done"

"Thank you"

"You want some drink?"

"Yes please"

*KRRIIINGG*

She looked at the caller... it's Felix

"Damn it! I totally forgot about him!" 

She answered the call "Felix"

"Mazekin--"

"Stop. I know what you're gonna say but hear me out first"

She heard him breathe out 

"I was about to go to your place that day but someone stabbed me"

"Holy shi-- are you alright?!!"

"I'm still recovering"

"I will kill whoever that person is!! Tell me, who is it?!"

"No no need, we'll handle it. Just focus on your work"

"I want to see you. I'll go to your place tonight is that okay?"

"...yeah I don't mind"

"I'm bringing your favorite foods. See you later"

Call End.

 

"He's coming?" Yulo asked

"Yeah..."

"Oh boy" he handed her a glass of whiskey "I don't understand why he's so crazy for you"

"What do you mean? Am I that hard to love?"

"What I mean is... he's head-over-heels for you"

"Oh ! Yulo let's go"

"Where are we going?"

"To the party"

She forgot about Felix again
