| Loyal Man |
A Familiar Stranger"Olaenmaniya." = "It's been a while."
The two new family members had settled in quite well, because of this, everyone is glad as the atmosphere in the show is more alive and more cheerful. Everyone is happier. Except Song Ji Hyo. She always knew that Kwang Soo and her have an unbreakable bond. She still remembers some nights a few years back when the two of them drank (more so Ji Hyo than Kwang Soo) endlessly, until she would cry and talk about how she thought she didn’t fit in the show. In the end, the giraffe would pat her back, lean her head on his shoulder and whisper to her that it will all be okay. She believed him, and he was right. But now that So Min was around, Ji Hyo couldn’t remember the last time he had asked her out for a drink or even for a meal. To make matters worse, she heard during the last week’s broadcast that a certain drunk Giraffe had slept over in Jeon So Min’s apartment.
Had he really given up on Song Ji Hyo?
To be fair, I had always turned down any of his advances, granted that I even considered them advances. I would swat his hand away when he tried to tuck a loose strand of hair behind my ear or I would turn him down way too quickly when he asked me out to dinner in any restaurant that I considered a dating spot. Had I been too oblivious? Or had Kwang Soo grown too tired of waiting?
Her inner monologue was interrupted when the door was opened by a familiar muscular man.
“Eo, Ji Hyo ya. You’re early today." Jong Kook sits beside her on the dressing room couch. Staring at the seat, she remembers how Kwang Soo usually occupied that spot, but nowadays, he would always sit close to the new maknaes.
Ji Hyo’s frown doesn’t escape the commander’s eagle eyes. “What’s the matter?”
“Nothing.”
“Ya, we’ve seen each other for the past eight years, nearly nine years, I know that that look you have isn’t from exhaustion. Tell me.”
