A Familiar StrangerGo Eun: Byul's real name
"Wae geurae?" = "Why? What's wrong?"
“Oppa?” She sighs into the phone.
“Ne? Eo, Ji Hyo-ya? What’s the matter?” Jong Kook answers. Ji Hyo thought he was probably walking away to a less crowded place as his voice gets clearer.
Placing the phone between her shoulders and cheek, she picks at her nail, hesitant to tell the older man about her worries. So instead, she says, “Are you busy?”
Usually, the muscular man would say that he is occupied. Everyone knew he spends three-quarters of his day in the gym. So it surprises her when he agress to meet up. “Not really, Dong Hoon’s with me. We’re at 401.”
“Arasso. I’ll be over in twenty minutes.” She hangs up.
The actress hops into her car as she thinks about every single thing that had happened between her and Lee Kwang Soo the previous night and earlier this morning. She's weighs in on her thoughts but it doesn't help. Kwang Soo and her were siblings. And sibling do not kiss each other. Not like that. And if she was being completely honest, she wasn't angry. She was confused. She doesn't know why she's even bothered by this. Because if it were any other man, she would've probably hit them once or twice and then moved on.
After about twenty minutes of over-analyzing the mess of a situation she had gotten herself into, she had reached Haha and Jong Kook’s restaurant, 401. The last time she was here, all the Running Man members were drinking right after the SBS Awards. She remembered how Kwang Soo had refused to drink when he found out that no one could bring Song Ji Hyo home. She laughs, remembering how hard everyone tried to force a drink onto him which got the giraffe taking “shots of soju” that he poured himself (a.k.a. water).
The actress looks around until she spots some familiar faces. A girl was waving in her direction, it was Haha's wife, pointing to the seat across from hers. “Eo, Eonni. Come sit here.”
“Go Eun-ah I didn’t know you were here.” The actress bows and proceeds to sit. She doesn't even bother settling in her chair before raising a hand to order a bottle of soju.
“Ya. Wae geurae? What’s wrong?” Jong Kook asks upon seeing Haha’s hesitance to ask her himself. They both knew something must be bothering her. Though it was common knowledge that Ji Hyo likes her drinks, she would never drink with an empty stomach.
She hesitates, trying her best to articulate her thoughts in a cohesive sentence. “Uhm... Oppa... Last night- Ani. Can I ask for your honesty first?” The older men exchange looks and nods along with Haha’s wife. “Kwang Soo and I are like siblings, aren’t we?” She mumbles quietly as she looks down at her hands. The ace simply didn't look like herself. Tonight, she seemed timid and more apprehensive.
Ji Hyo looks up from the lack of response from her oppas. It was unusual for them to be this quiet.
"Ji Hyo ya, tell us what’s wrong." The commander says after a few seconds of silence. "What did he do? Did he fight with you again? You kn
