"You're really here"

 

Sakura uttered as she kept caressing Chaeyeon's face.

 

"I never left"

 

Chaeyeon replied.

 

When the situation started to sink in, Sakura expressed her confusion on what's happening. Chaeyeon just laughed at her wife's whining.

 

"Explain everything to me", Sakura demanded.

 

"Okay, I will. But, will you wash up first? You drank so much last night. You even passed out and had to be carried home", Chaeyeon teased.

 

Sakura gave her a slap on the arm before going to the bathroom.

 

"I'll be in the kitchen. Just come out when you're done, let's have breakfast."

 

After washing up, Sakura noticed that she's in an unfamiliar place. She even went back to the bedroom to check.

 

"This is not my room nor Chaeyeon's", she told herself.

 

She decided to look around as she became more convinced that she's in someone else's house. Chaeyeon noticed her wife wandering around. 

 

"You like it?"

"What?"

"The house"

"It's beautiful."

 

Chaeyeon smiled.

 

"But, whose house is this?"

"Ours."

 

A glare from Sakura's big round eyes was the response Chaeyeon got.

 

"It's our house, love."

"You mean…"

"Yes, this beautiful house is ours."

 

Sakura run towards Chaeyeon then gave her a tight hug.

 

"Why?"

"Just making sure that this is really not a dream"

 

Chaeyeon chuckled.

 

"I already told you, you're not dreaming."

"With all that is happening, it feels like it. A beautiful dream"

"It's a wonderful reality."

 

Sakura tightened her hug even more. A stomach growl made them let go of the hug. They laughed together.

 

"Let's eat. You must be really hungry, that was quite loud."

"You still owe me an explanation."

 

Sakura can't describe the happiness she's feeling at the moment. But in all of this lies confusion towards what happened. Everything that unfolded seems too good to be true for her. But seeing her wife face to face again is more than enough. 

 

"So, what do you want to know?"

"Why are you here? What happened? How about your work? When…"

"Yah! Slowly. Just one by one"

"Sorry. I just wanted to know how it turned out like this."

 

Chaeyeon explained everything to Sakura. When she went on the 3-day trip to sign the contract for her tattoo shop franchise, she realized that it's not the life she wanted for her and Sakura. What she experienced in the past occured to her all of a sudden. Her parents were busy with work that they barely got time for her. It's also because of that work why she started to feel that everything around her is temporary. She may have the things she wanted but not what she wanted the most, time with the most special persons in her life. Just the thought of that is too much for her. She just began having a different perspective when she met the two new special people, her bestfriend and her wife. Just like a tattoo, she's sure she'll have them for life. For her, that's more than enough to make her stay.

 

"I didn't sign the contract"

 

Sakura was startled on what she heard.

 

"What have you done?"

"I did what I wanted to do the most, stay with you."

 

Sakura doesn't know what to say. She felt guilty right
