Minju and Sakura walked happily into the café bakery after school. Hyewon and Hitomi noticed how happy those two where. Otherwise, it was a typical afterschool day at the café.

Minju and Sakura were at the big table having a snack while working on their homework.

Hyewon sat next to Sakura helping her with the math questions.

“Mama, can I invite a friend over to play video games on Saturday?”

“Who is it?” Hyewon asked.

“Ducky!”

“Ducky??” Hyewon pondered. “As in Yena? That ducky?”

“Ya, she’s my buddy.”

“What happened to her being a meanie?” Hyewon questioned her daughter.

“No, she’s very funny!” Sakura shook her head.

“Auntie Hye, can I invite a friend too?” Minju perked her head up to look at  Hyewon.

Hitomi scooted over to the table after hearing her daughter wanting to invite someone. It’s the first time she heard Minju having a friend besides Sakura.

“Minju, who is it that you want to invite?” Hitomi asked while putting a hand on Minju’s shoulder.

Minju smiled, “Yujinie!”

“Yujinie?”

“Ya! Ahn Yujin.”
“Oh! Mrs.Ahn’s daughter?” Hitomi looked over at Hyewon.

“I’ll message her to see if Yujin can go to Auntie Hye’s place on Saturday, ok?”

“Thanks Mama!”

Later that night after the twins and Minju have gone to bed, Hitomi and Chaewon sat down together on the couch, relaxing. Their fingers are intertwined with Hitomi leaning her head onto Chaewon’s  shoulder. It is their nightly ritual. Just some quiet time alone, a moment for just the two of them. They usually talk about their day and anything interesting happenings.

“I think Minju has made a new friend.”

Upon hearing that, Chaewon straightened up and turned her head towards Hitomi.
