Chaewon woke up with Hyejoo in her arms. They were lying in the grass and Chaewon scanned their surroundings. No trees in sight. Just tall grass in every direction.

'Hyejoo yah! Wake up! I think we're lost!' She whispered poking her cheek.

Hyejoo snuggled closer into Chaewon and mumbled.

'What did you say?'

'Huh?' Hyejoo snorted lifting her head. 'Woah woah, where are we?'

'I don't know. You're the one who brought us here, remember?'

'Oh, I may have gotten too tired. But we'll find our way. Won't we?'

Chaewon looked worried. 'I'm hungry. Can we eat something first?'

'Sure. Let's have a picnic in the middle of nowhere. So romantic.' She muttered the last part under her breath.

Chaewon unpacked some snacks from her bag and lay them on the sheet they had been sleeping on. Meanwhile Hyejoo flew around screaming. But she didn't seem scared. She sounded happy. She flew all over the barren field, enjoying the warmth of the sun that didn't burn her anymore.

'I've never felt so free before! I'm so happy! Thank you Chaewon!'

Chaewon smiled. 'Yah, come eat something at least. How are you so energetic?'

Hyejoo slowed down and flew towards her friend. 'I'm just happy, that is all.' Her face was showing it so much that she didn't really have to say it.

They ate until they were full. Hyejoo was packing the stuff into Chaewon's bag when they both heard some voices in the distance.

'Oh no! What if they sent someone to find us?' Hyejoo whispered.

'I don't think so.' Chaewon whispered back. 'I'll go take a look.

'Wait! What if it's not safe?'

Chaewon rolled her eyes. 'Hyejoo, us being out here is not safe in itself. But that's why we're here, right?'

Hyejoo felt stupid all of a sudden. 'I was just worried for you, dummy.'

Chaewon carried her bag and Hyejoo kept a close distance behind her. She followed her friend's stealthy steps as she peeked through the grass, trying not to be seen.

'Oh my god..' Chaewon's eyes grew wide.

'What? What do you see?' Hyejoo peeked over Chaewon's shoulder and gasped.

'Are those.. humans?'

'I suppose so. What are they doing though?'

'I.. I don't know.. but it's making my stomach feel queasy.'
