Just then, a figure familiar to Hyejoo appeared from above.

'Hyejoo yah!'

Hyejoo squealed and stepped back, giggling. 'Chaewon! I didn't know you would be here!'

'I can come here every day if it means I can see you.'

Hyejoo took in Chaewon's features, her bright glowing smile matching her own. Hyejoo suddenly reached out both her hands and grabbed Chaewon's, intertwining her fingers between her gloved ones.

'H-Hyejoo! Your, your hands!' Chaewon stuttered.

'They're alright. I used the ointment.'

'B-but.. how are you holding my hands?!'

'Just a little magic.' Hyejoo smirked.

'So.. it worked?'

'Yeah. It stung a little.. ok a lot.. but I'm all better now.' Hyejoo said smiling.

'I'm glad.' Chaewon paused, looking at Hyejoo, just admiring her. 'You know, I told my friends about you. Hyunjin and Heejin didn't believe me when I told them I had a pixie friend!'

Hyejoo chuckled, making Chaewon pout.

'I wanted them to meet you but I was afraid they would hurt you like I did. And also..' Chaewon gulped. 'They said some mean things about pixies. Actually, me and Yerim are probably the only fairies who don't. I don't know much about dusk pixies, but it's widely known in our Kingdom that..' Chaewon hesitated. 'That they were ugly, mischievous and rude, and that they were mean and hated dawn fairies.'

Chaewon choked back a tear, as Hyejoo gently the back of her hand with her thumb.
