Game on
I long for youJiyong tried to calm his trembling hands as he walked slowly towards his military apartments.
The only sounds he could hear were the hammering of his heart and his irregular breathing.
As he reached the door and put his hand on the doorknob, he halted for a second and took a deep calming breath.
And then she was there. Just there. Standing with her back to him, looking out of the window.
Her caramel coloured, waist-length hair flowed over her slim shoulders. She was dressed in blue Jeans and a red hoodie, her arms crossed in front of her.
When she heard the noise of the opening door, she froze, but then slowly turned around.
Time came to a halt as they both took each other in after the one year long separation.
Dara’s eyes were guarded and slightly sad, while Jiyong’s were burning a hungry path over her body as he stared at her.
“Dara…” he whispered with wide eyes as he took a step towards her. “Is everyth…”
She interrupted him before he could finish the sentence.
“Jiyong. I am leaving Korea. For good.”
*You what?” Jiyong, replied with a frown.
“I have cancelled my contract with YG and I will go back to the Philippines, maybe the USA as well.” she rambled.
“Wait. You have friends here in Korea. Close friends, like family. Why would you leave them? What aren’t you telling me?” Jiyong asked and walked closer to her, watching her face closely.
Suddenly a thought so painful popped up in his mind that he had to talk a step back from her before he grounded out: “Have you met someone?”
“Jiyong…” Dara started, but stopped when she saw the raw pain and screaming jealousy in his eyes.
“I need to start anew. My old life is just full of pain and failure. I don’t want to become a bitter mess at some point. I still have time to turn everything around.
