Chapter 16 

I’m going to asked the driver to bring you to the palace first...I,’ Chanyeol told him,  

Baekhyun eye bore into Chanyeol, was he joking? They spent weeks together and now when Baekhyun felt Chanyeol needed him. He was been pushed away, ‘I’m staying with you.’  He didn’t plan to be pushed away right now, just when they were beginning to connect with each other. 

‘Baekhyun I want... 

‘We don’t always get what we want, I'm going with you.’ Baekhyun didn’t want to fall apart now, he was only beginning to feel like himself again. This is what counted most,  Baekhyun was in no mood for Chanyeol stupidity.  Chanyeol own thoughts were racing, but it didn’t stop the anxious feeling building in his chest. Here Baekhyun was on hand doing his best to reassure him, His hand in Chanyeol, ‘I’m going to stay here with you. Chanyeol gave his hand a squeeze and a peak to the cheek. He didn’t care if he’d broken all his royal duty tonight. This was his family this was what was most important to him. As they reached the Hospital, Chanyeol rushed in a steady pace as to not draw to much attention in his path way with Baekhyun trailing behind him. Not that been a prince didn’t cause a stir from people around him.

The door burst open, alarming the occupants in the room, ‘Where the fire?’ his eyes fixed on Chanyeol, ‘Y-Chanyeol what are you doing here?’ his father asked, ‘Are you planning on giving your mother and I a heart attack?’ Chanyeol eyes trailed over to his mother who looked nothing but of health, both their eyes lay on him as Baekhyun falter into the room behind him,  

‘You're okay?’ He inquired, Signing in relief 

‘Of course I am..... why would I not be?’ his mother answered, she was quite dumfounded why he was here her eyes travelled to Baekhyun then back to Chanyeol, ‘Why are you both back?’ She reached out her hand as if calling Baekhyun closer to her which he obliged. ‘How are you dear? you look so much better I am relieved.’ she smiled. Baekhyun didn’t get to answer as a doctor Baekhyun knew walked into the room.  

‘Doctor Choi...!” Baekhyun bowed his head turning back to his mother-in-law.
