Later that morning, Stephanie decided to fill in Jessica and Sooyoung about Sunny and Hyoyeon’s sudden arrival to her bedroom. She told them everything that had happened that night, the mental simulation of their fight, what truly happened three years ago and Sunny’s suspicion that something strange was happening in L.A. The couple, surprisingly, took everything quite well, there were a few shocked expressions here and there, but they managed to stay quite serious throughout the whole time. Stephanie definitely didn’t know how they would react to the fact she was a murderer, but in the end, much like Sunny they saw beyond the consequence of her actions that night and focused on the cause instead. They acknowledged Stephanie had no choice and it was unfair for Dean to point the blame completely on her. She may have been reckless at the moment, but with a gun pointing to the person, you love most, who wouldn’t be reckless? After Stephanie had explained her side of the story and gone over the “it’s really not your fault” talk with Sooyoung and Jessica, it was time to delve into the intriguing information that Sunny had passed to her. In the past three years alone there had been thirty reports of missing persons and none of them had appeared in any form of media besides public records on the polica files. “Thirty?? Really? And not a single one of those cases were on T.V.?” Sooyoung questioned.

“, you guys in L.A. have a real abduction problem, don’t you? Must be the boogie man.” Jessica laughed.

“Last time I checked, when you got abducted you didn’t find it so amusing, Jess…” Stephanie scoffed.

“True, it’s really no fun. Maybe if they didn’t have the bag covering my head, put some music on and actually gave me a window seat it might have been a little more enjoyable.” Jessica continued to joke.
“Yah! Sica! Stop fooling around. If these reports are legit, then there could be thirty people out there missing and who knows if they’re even alive.” Sooyoung tried to stress the seriousness of the situation to Jessica, thankfully it did seem to work, and she stopped her barrage of jokes.

“I’m going to find them, don’t you worry.” Stephanie assured them.
“Don’t get ahead of yourself, Steph. Sure, these people could be missing, but you have no idea where to even begin to look. Besides, we don’t even have names, all of that stuff is classified information and all we can access is the public record. There’s really no leads here at all.” Jessica reasoned. She honestly could be logical when she put her mind to it, but it always seemed like Jessica had a sense of humor at the wrong times. “We do have one lead. The Blazers.” Stephanie stated.

“The Blazers? Come on, Steph. You can’t possibly believe they’re behind all of this, do you? They just a bunch of petty thugs and drug dealers, why would they be behind a massive abduction scheme like this?” Jessica questioned.

“Maybe she’s right, babe. Think about it, in those three years Taeya and you got abducted. A three-year gap between your case and hers, but the M.O. was so similar that it's terrifying. They both seized you with orange bandanas showcasing to the world who they were, slammed you into a van and tried to take you to a secluded area.” Sooyoung explained.

“Hmm. You do have a point, but what do you plan to do, exactly? They don’t seem like the type who are going to be open to random questioning.” Jessica asked.

“Nothing a little bit a fear can’t fix. They may act tough and pretend they’re loyal to some sort of brotherhood code, but once they see real life-threatening danger in fornt of them, they think only for themselves.” Stephanie stated.

“Ooh, look at miss vigilante over here? You’re really gonna go for that Batmanesque feel. Next minute we’re going to see her put on a really croaky, hoarse voice and say ‘WHERE ARE THEY??’” Jessica laughed. Sooyoung had to admit, the thought of Stephanie pulling off a low voice like that was pretty funny and couldn’t help but join the laughter. “Yah! I’ll have you know I actually can do a pretty scary voice if I wanted to. My voice is already low and husky, doing a Batman like voice would be easy.” Stephanie retorted.

“I mean, I was only kidding but if you can actually do that I think it would genuinely work. When they hear your deep, scary voice and see their bullets bounce off of you, they’ll be shaking in their boots.” Jessica agreed.

“How are you going to find them, though?” Sooyoung questioned.

“Well, I actually know where a few of them make their deals. If I get them to talk, they could lead me to a storehouse and then maybe I can get some real answers.” Stephanie explained.

“This is all well and good, but the real question is, Steph, what are you going to wear? As a designer, I might physically vomit all over you if you go out there with this new hero persona and wear a cheap hoodie.” Jessica stated.

“Hey, I love these hoodies, they’re extremely comfortable and cover my identity. Why wouldn’t I wear them?” Stephanie questioned.

“Nope, nope, nope, this won’t do. Stay right there, I’m gonna get some samples.” Sooyoung’s eyes widened to an unfathomable size since she knew exactly where this was going. Jessica had that look in her eye, the kind where she got a new project and wouldn’t stop until they were well into the design process. Sooyoung slowly got up trying her hardest not to catch Jessica’s attention from their room. She leaned over to Stephanie and tried her best to keep her voice down. “She’s going to be at this for a while, I’m gonna go grab a bite to eat, do you want anything?” Sooyoung whispered.

“Wait, what do you mean she’s going to be at this for a while??” Stephanie questioned.
