The sun has barely risen and Jennie is already on her way out to go to the company.
She thought of jogging around their neighbourhood to get her mind off things, it was what she would usually do in times like these.
But she couldn’t do that anymore.
Most days, she would be afraid to run into Bobby.
But this time it was Hanbin she wanted to avoid.
How could she have almost confessed to him last night?
Did she really mean what she almost said?
Did she actually think he would like her back if she confessed?
She wanted to slap herself.
“Wake up, Jen. First Bobby, now Hanbin. Just how stupid can you get?”
She talks to herself while walking to the bus stop, her head down as she kicks a rock around, when a deep voice stops her.
“You’re starting your day off with problems like that?”
She looks up.
And there stood Song Mino.
He looks more rugged than usual, but not far from how he looked on TV.
He isn’t made up but he still looks good.
That’s no surprise.
He is in his sweats with glasses on.
“Oh - oppa, annyeonghaseyo,” Jennie bows to him.
She expected him to bow back but he, instead, reaches inside the black plastic bag he is holding.
“Want one?” he offers her a triangle Kimbap.
