Present Day 2018

“Ugh. I shouldn’t be watching this.” Jennie slams her phone face down onto the table.

Jisoo and Lisa, who are eating dinner beside her, look at each other.

“Unnie, are you ok?” Lisa nudges her with a spoon.

“Aishhh aniya, aniya. I can do this.” Jennie continues to talk to herself, giving Lisa a reassuring look. 

“I have better self control than this.” she gets up from the table walks to her room.

She slams the door closed behind her and lies on the bed.

It’s just a video of all of them together, no big deal, right?

So why can’t I watch it when I want to? 

Why can’t I support them like we’ve been asked to?

She sits up and curls herself into a ball as she rests against the wall beside the bed.

She takes a deep breath as she picks up her phone and presses play.
