"I saw an ex today," I informed Lay while he busily criticized Wendy's former suitor, "with a new girl." I half-heartedly laughed.

Shocked was registered on his face then pity, seeing how terrible I act on the matter.

"He's the guy I've been telling you about." Flashing a smile, thinking it would be easier and not to worry him. "It's been my first time seeing him after the breakup." Almost whispering.

"Ahmmm...." Scratching his arm clearly doesn't know what to say, "So any emotions that popped out of your flat chest?" He chuckled, trying to lessen the gloom that is surrounding the air.

"Said the guy who is little." I snarled, kicking Lay playfully in his calf.

Truthfully, I don't know what to answer so I chose to ignore his question.

We continued walking and talking about things, but my mind is going somewhere. I am physically there with Lay, yet emotionally and mentally, I am aimlessly wandering somewhere. 

"Maybe that's the reason why I feel so down because of it, Right?" Looking at him for confirmation. An assurance that I don't feel anything for him. A belief that I, Sandara, is no longer affected.

Lay didn't say anything 'cause I know that he knows the truth. He figured it out after he saw my orbs are containing an abnormal amount of water as if waiting to be poured down like a dam being filled up with heavy and continuous rains.

He abruptly stopped at his tracks and patted my head softly.

"I don't know why he's waiting there, Yixing." I looked at him dejectedly. "Am I the one he's waiting for? Does he still care? Does he wants some confirmation if he still likes me?" Biting my lower lip, not letting the fragile me take over. "Just he wants some closure? Or is it just my pitiful illusion?"
