How well do you know Infinite?

All four categories are relatively equally represented, although the majority of the participants know Infinite only a little or not at all.

The Grading System

We gave the answers different grades, depending on how well people know them:

• 3 = well
• 2 = okay
• 1 = only a little
• 0 = not at all

Then we can look at how well different fans know them. 3 means that everyone knows them well and 0 not at all. If people on average know them "Okay" the grade is 2, and if on average "Only a Little" it's 1.

The year 2014 seems to be some kind of turning point for Infinite, as participants who started in K-pop before that time know Infinite pretty well, but there is a sharp decline after 2014, with those that started K-pop in the past year or so knowing them very little or not at all.

Infinite is best known in East Asia, although all the regions know them similarly well, except Africa, where they are slightly less known than in the other regions.

Infinite as a Favorite Band

Now we will look at the fans who listed Infinite among their favorite bands!

We show our results for different regions, genders and ages, where for each region, the portion of participants that chose Infinite as their favorite is shown. For example, we look at all fans from Australia and see how big a percentage of Australians lists Infinite as a favorite group. Then we do the same for people from other regions, and different genders and ages.

Infinite are most favored in North America and East Asia.

Infinite seem to be equally favored by girls and boys, as well as those who chose to keep their gender a secret.

The age group 19-35 has the highest proportion of participants who list Infinite as one of their favorite bands.
