Things had been moving along smoothly. She had fallen into a routine; wake up before Sungjae, prepare breakfast, his school lunch and snacks for him. She constantly worked on making sure the meals varied and were to her sons taste. Wake him up, give a bath, eat and off to school. When Jihyo had time she gave them a ride and she and Nayeon would then leave to work together.

Every day when she would drop Sungjae off, his teacher would always shoot coy and coquette smiles her way, light touches on the shoulder. It was definitely her favorite part of the day, her son seemed to be happy and enjoying being in school and Ms. Yoo was quite pleasing to look at.

With every meeting the teacher was more enthusiastic towards her. Nayeon wasn't sure what she did to encourage thus enthusiasm but she wasn't going to complain, she enjoyed the comfortable conversations they could have now, the woman's intelligence  and sometimes she liked her humor. Although some of the jokes weren't actually funny, but so ridiculously not funny that made Nayeon laugh. She had even told Nayeon to call her Jeongyeon.

It also pleased Nayeon to know her son was doing extremely well in school, interacting with kids well and behaving. Jeongyeon would always tell Nayeon how she can't belive Sungjae is just 4.

"He's truly a very smart boy"

The hardest part of Nayeon's week would have to be working. After dropping Sungjae off she would return to the company and direct the photoshoot that had to be done. These photo shoots would last hours, and sometimes she would call for a break and used that time to pick up Sungjae and return. She was lucky that everyone in the company seemed to love Sungjae and were willing to entertain him when they could, when photo shoots were done they'd both go back to the office so Nayeon could proceed with editing, while Sungjae would do his homework. On days where she was struggling to handle work and her mommy duties she had her friends pick him up from the company. Sana would take him to the park, Jackson to the gym and Wonpil and Jae would just take him to wherever they were.

It wasn't the cookie cutter picture perfect family one pictures but things could be worse.They were comfortable and her son was loved, that's all that matters.

On the days she had no photoshoots scheduled she would be able to spend the days with her son. Taking him home, and making him a homemade meal, helping him with his homework and playing in the bathtub with him.

"The waves are to strong! Sungjae save me, save me!"
 
She pretended to be pushed away by the water. Her son started doggy paddling with determination.

"I'm coming mommy me and Mr. Bubbles will save you!"

The water was splashing out of the tub and was making quite a mess of the bathroom floor but that didn't matter to Nayeon right now, making her son happy did. And the giggles coming out of him as he thrashed in the tub while coming towards her put a smile on her face.

After playing in the bath she would make dinner, by then Jihyo would arrive and they'd sit together and watch a movie until he falls asleep. He was sprawled out across her and Jihyo, the soft sound of his breathing and Tarzan lowly playing from the t.v. was all that could be heard as she and jihyo looked at him fondly.

"Hey I have something to tell you" Jihyo whispered.

"What's up?" Nayeon turned to face her, and leaned her head on her hand.

"I think I'm going to be moving out."

This didn't come as a surprise, Jihyo has been a serious relationship with one of the company's model, Mina for over a year. She was expecting and she was happy for her friend though she'll miss having her in the house.

"Ooh are you and Mina taking your relationship to the next level?" She said while smiling.

"Yeah I guess we are, I'm going to be moving into her loft" she said while blushing.

"I'm happy for you, finally I get to have this house to myself, yess!" She said said while getting up, Jihyo picked up Sungjae in her, and bumped shoulders with Nayeon.

"I'm gonna miss Sungjae"

"Ya what about me?"

Around the third week though, Nayeon was pooped. She couldn't will herself to roll out of bed. Her entire body aches and she had a headache, she could her Sungjae's  footsteps coming towards her room and she forced herself to sit up.

"Mommy, I'm up and ready to start the day!" He said while crawling towards her on the bed. When he didn't get her usual excited reaction he looked at her confused.

"Mommy? What's wrong?"

Nayeon was sitting up against the headboard eyes barely open, her headache was killing her and she had no doubt she had a fever. She could feel Sungjae put his hands on her cheeks and squish her face.

"Oh hot! Mommy are you sick?"

"I think so bunny"

He looked at her worriedly and gave her a kiss on the cheek before jumping off the bed and rushing out the room and let her sleep consume her.

When she woke up again, Sana was sitting on her bed hand on her forehead.

"Sana? What are you doing here?" She groaned out.

"Hey there sleeping beauty. And Sungjae called, told me you were hot and tired"

"Oh god, Sungjae" she said quickly sitting up

"Relax, I took him to school. By the way when were you gonna tell me that his teacher is super hot? She's like a model"

Nayeon sighed in relief and threw her face in her hands, she felt a lot better. Maybe what she had needed was some rest.

"She is really pretty isn't she? Her hair is really fluffy even though it's bleached"

"Tell me about it, I should've asked her for some tips cuz I think I might start balding soon"

They both laughed and talked for a couple more hours until Sana said she had to go.

"I spent my day off taking care you, Ms. Senior citizen, but this girls gotta have her fun so I'm off to my date"

"Sorry you had to spend your day taking care of my poor old self"

"Don't mention it, and don't hesitate to ever call me for anything"

Now that Nayeon was feeling better she decided that she was well enough to pick up Sungjae from school.

The boy was extremely excited to her, and was happy she was feeling better.

"Mommyyy! Are you feeling better? Not hot anymore?" He talked a mile a minute while hugging her legs and looking up at her.

"Yes baby. I'm feeling much better, in sorry I couldn't take you to school"

"That's alright, I like auntie Sana, but I missed you."

"I missed you too"

Jeongyeon was staring there watching them fondly when she finally spoke up.

"Nayeon, Sungjae and your friend told me what happened. How are you feeling?" She said while putting her hand on her should and giving her a concerned look.

"Much better thank God. I guess I was just tired, like I said before this is a whole new routine for us both."

"Totally understand, I hope that you rested well."

Sungjae interrupted their conversation excitedly, he was pulling in Jeongyeon's pants.

"Teacher Teacher can I tell you a joke?" The little boy was already giggling and bouncing on the balls of his feet.

"Sure Sungjae" Ms. Yoo leaned down and smiled fondly at the boy.

"I love Yoo!" He said while putting his tiny hands in front of his mouth while laughing. His cheeky smile was contagious and Jeongyeon couldn't help but laugh. Nayeon put her face in her hands sighing with a gentle laugh, she doesn't know where her son gets his sense of humor but the blonde teacher seemed to be loving it.

The teacher ruffled his hair "That was a good one" giving him a high five and Nayeon couldn't help but laugh out loud when she saw them dab at the same time.

She felt her heart skip a beat as she watched the scene in front of her. Wait. Her heart skipped a beat. Why is she suddenly blushing when she notices Ms. Yoo looking at her intently with a smile?

"Okay, well we gotta go" she rushed out, grabbing Sungjae's hand.

 "But mom"

"We're gonna be late!"

She walked out with Sungjae in tow, too flustered to had even heard what Jeongyeon had said.

 All she knows is that she's got a huge crush on her son's teacher.

Things are starting to pick up guys. Specially the next chapter. Could this be considered a filler chapter since there wasn't much action?
