Loud coughing fits could be heard from the hallway where London stood. She was in an apartment complex in the worker’s district. Next to her stood Jaebum and the rest of the team members waiting for news.

An elderly man finally walks out and takes of his mask, clearing his throat.

“Yugyeum has contracted Polluted Lung Disease.”

A sense of shock settled among the members, “How bad is it?”

“I think you should notify his family, it is in the second last stages progressing quickly to the final stage. He has had it for quite of period of time, had he shown any symptoms before this?”

“He always seemed fine until he collapsed today!”

“Isn’t there anyway to help him? He’s still young right?”

The doctor shakes his head, “There is still no cure for his disease. Especially when is presents this way. I am sorry that there isn’t anything more I can do for your friend.”

London follows Jaebum back to his home quietly; it was obvious he was barely holding one. Jaebum unlocks the door and goes to the sink and starts cleaning up. Without Jaebum yells, frustrated at himself for not noticing, angry at the people who sent them out there.

“It’s not fair, he’s so young!” He spits and sends a glass he was holding across the room and it shatters sending shards in every direction. London runs over and wrapped her arms across is body holding his arms down tightly

“You’ll hurt yourself.”

It takes some time, but London slowly felt the anger subsides into shallow breaths and wet eyes. He eventually looks up

Jaebum sighed

“Sorry you had to see that- “Jaebum couldn’t finish his sentence as he swore under his breath
