"Yerin, enough!" Sowon warn, then snatch the chocolate chip package away from the second oldest girl of their group.

"Aaahh~... Unnie~...give back my snacks!" Yerin whine, while reach out her hand trying to get back her snack. But Sowon lift her arm straight up, so it's impossible for Yerin to reach eventhough she jump.

"Yerin-ah, I watch you had more than enough snacks for today. I know you tired that makes you crave for snack, but let's enough now, okay... you can have some again tomorrow." Sowon persuade calmly while keep the snack away from Yerin's reach. Yerin pout, sulking.

 

It's not the first time Sowon did something like that, she did it many time and not just to Yerin but to the other members too. She watch like a hawk at every members's food consumptions then sternly warn and ban them to eat more everytime she think they had enough. The most irritating is that Sowon is the only one on their group who doesn't need to diet, since she already in great shape and doesn't gain weight messily no matter how much she eat. Huft~... seems unfair, but that's reality.

"Eunha-yah..."

Eunha's fingertips that has a small piece of brownies that about to get inside is stop hanging in the air. Without turn her face, her eyes glance to the side to sheepishly look at the voice owner who called her name just now. She gulped hardly.

 

Sowon Unnie, her Leader group.

 

Sowon come closer, then offer her hand palm. Eunha sigh, then put her plate of brownies that seems still whole on Sowon's palm with pouting lips.

 

"That's too..." Sowon calmly order.

Eunha about to cry, "Just let me have a tiny minnie taste of it, Unnie. Please~..." Eunha determined to not let go the only small piece of brownies on her tip of fingers.

Sowon shake her head, "You know the taste. I guarantee it's not different than usual brownies you had before."

"My last brownies was about 6 months ago, Unnie~... it was just a bite. So please. Have a mercy on me~..." Eunha plead with teary eyes.

Sowon sigh, "Have a bit taste of it will trigger you to crave more later. It's better to have not at all. Remember your last brownies? It led you to another bites of each food and snacks that Buddy gave to us that time. You remember what happened after you did that? Not just your weight target became farer but also you get an upset stomach that gave you hard time, almost caused you to throw up on stage while we perform. So... let me ask you... who's loss?" Sowon testing.

Eunha low her face, "Me. Myself..."

"You just need to hang on a bit more to reach your weight target, you better not ruin it. You gonna get more trouble if you off your guard now. It's for your own sake." The leader keep trying to persuade.

Eunha finally give up then put the small piece of brownies on her fingertips on the brownies plate on Sowon's hand. Then Sowon left while start to have the brownies for herself.

 

Yerin come to offer a bowl of salad, "Here. Just have this." Eunha accept while still sulking.

"I bet you also upset to Sowon Unnie strict control. I know how Unnie love to have sweet snack..." Eunha whine.

"I am. But I also grateful at Sowon Unnie's concern that make her constantly watch us out like a hawk on what we eat, also to her stern warn and control that force us to manage our eating activity. Can you imagine if our leader is such person who let us freely doing and having anything we like?"

 

Eunha think and imagine as Yerin told her to do, then after a moment, she grimace, "Maybe our group won't survive too long..." she admit it sheepishly. Then Eunha start to eat the salad that Yerin give to her.

"Good girl." Yerin praise then pat Eunha's head dearly. 

Eunha sigh deeply while munching her salad, her upset to her Leader-Unnie is already gone, turn into grateful.

"Yuna-yah, how many times I have to tell you to drink all your lemon-ginger-honey drink while still warm!" Sowon stern and clear voice causing her members stop anything what they're doing or talk, and turn them to froze on their spot. Frightened.

Sowon open the tumbler's lid then hands it to Yuju, "Drink it all! Now!" She firmly command.

Yuju accept the tumbler then start to sip it. She grimace, "It's too spicy and sour, I don't like the ginger taste... it's too strong, the lemon also very sour... and it hot... it tearing my eyes. Can I have it just a half for now, Unnie? I promise to drink it all later.." Yuju plead.

"NO! Bear the taste! And it's not too hot. It perfectly warm. Drink all NOW!!" Sowon force.

Yuju pout, but then she do as her Leader-Unnie told her to do.

After Sowon left bring the empty tumbler away, Yuju wipe her tears from the spicy-sour-hot drink she had just now.

 

Yerin come closer then caress Yuju's back dearly, soothing, "Sowon Unnie just want to take good care of you. That drink is healthy drink, especially good for your throat. You are our main vocal, that treatment drink is good for you."

"I know. But she didn't have to forced me that bad, right? She could said it nicely and a bit tollerant, afterall she should has a taste of it too, then she know how awfull the taste is, it's gonna good to improve her vocal." Yuju sarcastically whisper, afraid that Sowon might hear.

 

Yerin still caress the sulking girl's back, "Sowon Unnie know very well how bad the taste is, since she has it too." Yerin's information make Yuju surprise, "I don't know that..."

"She doesn't has to tell you about all her effort and trainning, though.... Her treatment drink is even worse taste than yours and still she drink it a lot, hope that it will help her to make better her vocal in order to do better contribute for our group's sake. You don't need to emphasize."

Yuju feel somehow shame, then she low her face, decide in her heart to never skip to drink her unfavorite-drink next time.

Maknaes are goofing around. They taking selfies using their favorite Polaroid Camera Application on their cellphone. But then, don't know what the exact happened but the maknaes start to bickering. At the beginning it sounds cute, but after a while it getting tense. In the end Umji go to Sowon with almost-cry-face...

 

"Unnie, please scold SinB for me! She refuse to delete my ugly photos and threat me that she will post it to SNS." Umji run closer to Sowon to whine while hugging her oldest-unnie tightly.

"SinB-ah, be nice! Don't keep teasing Yewon!" Sowon scold in motherly voice that clearly heard by SinB on the opposite corner of their waiting room.

"I'm not!" SinB bravely answer back.

"Then delete those photos!" Umji whine.

"I'm not gonna delete it!" SinB said back.

"But don't post it on SNS!!" Umji protest.

"It's mine! I'm the one who took the photos using my phone, so it's up to me what I'm gonna do with those photos!" SinB yell.

"But those photos of me!! So I have rights to control how the use of it!" Umji yell back.

"It's mine! It's up to me!!" SinB yell again.

 

"ENOUGH!!" This time who yell is Sowon. Turn the room into silent.

"I ban both of you to stay closer! Also switch roommate. Umji you with me. Yerin you with SinB! End of case." Sowon proclaim.

"Yeaayy!! Yerin Unnie!! My favorite Unnie!!" SinB happily shout make her ex-roommate pout.

Yerin look at Sowon then secretly sigh.

"Why? You not happy being with me?" SinB furiosly ask while frowning her forehead.

Yerin shake her head, "No. That's not what I mean..."

"Fine! I can be alone by myself!" SinB upsetly yell.

"Hwang Eunbi!! Don't act childish!" Sowon scold.

SinB turn to look at her oldest-unnie obviously with upset face, "I'm not being childish!! You can't keep scold me and blame me just because you this group's leader and the oldest among us. Dictator!!"

"HWANG EUNBI!!" Sowon seems in the edge of her limit about to 'explode'.

SinB's eyes wider for sort of split second, not because getting madder but actually because surprise to see how mad her oldest-unnie is, secretly she feel scare to her at that moment.

The girls are froze on their spot. Too scare to intervere. Sowon is rare to really angry at them, her scolds and nags were usually in casual way, but that time SinB's savage seems really succeeded to set free Sowon's pent up emotion.

 

"Are you seriously gonna keep being hostile and rebel?" Sowon ask in deep low tone, slowly, on each words, as if want to make sure SinB hear and understand her question.

SinB get chill along her spine that become goosebump on her nape. She gulp hardly. Feel shrink. She even almost believe her delusion of seeing dark and thick aura come out from Sowon. She speachless. Don't have guts left to answer back.

But in the other hand, Sowon thought that SinB's quiet is part of her rebel, "Then fine... just keep doing your things, I will never scold you anymore, don't complaint anything to me ever more. But my last dictation (emphasize her tone on the word 'dictation') for you is still occur. Stay away from Yewon!" Then Sowon left pull Umji with her.

 

"Sure! Very happy doing your last dictation, Dictator!!" SinB sarcastically shout, pretending to not waver at Sowon's shows of authority.

Yerin slap SinB's arm annoyingly, "Watch your mouth, Impudent Girl! Sowon Unnie heard it..."

"That's my point for that Dictator to heard it." SinB brutally said, secretly hide her lost. But in the other point of view, SinB is clearly rebel. Yerin even has to hold her urge to pinch that girl.

 

 

Then after few days, SinB start to miss her ex-roommate. Yerin companion is indeed fun but still somehow she miss goofing around with Umji. SinB realize that both Yerin and Umji are fun, but still each person have their own way to get along with her. SinB already used to Umji existance near her and their each other habbit, while Yerin still need to adaptation to SinB habbit when she about to sleep and wake up.

In the other hand, Umji who spending time with Sowon, eventhough she also need to adaptation to Sowon's sleeping habbit that of course different than SinB, also on the unexistance of her same age groupmate, Umji get along very well. Sowon indeed motherly leader who able to make her feel comfortable, safe and be loved, Sowon also able to get along with her youthfull and  playfulness. Umji feel happy, but somehow it still make her miss SinB.

 

Sowon actually aware that both maknaes gloomy mood lately, but she not say anything about it, she think that they need bit more time to realize how precious them to each other, especially to make SinB learn to fix her rebel and savage behavior.

 

 

"SinB-ah, are you still gonna stubborn? Just admit that you miss Umji then make peace with her. Also ask forgiveness from Sowon Unnie for your rebel..." Yerin advice.

"If it just because you had enough with me and want to go back to your former room with Sowon Unnie, then just go! Don't bother to said such a 'wise advice'..." SinB sarcastically said.

Yerin sigh, she feel kinda offended by SinB's harsh words, "Yah! Watch your mouth! Your savage could be cute sometimes but let me tell you that what you are doing right now is too much. Tch!! You are lucky that Umji and Sowon Unnie are patient enough to deal with your irritating behavior. You know what... I even want to smack you right now but I just don't want to make more trouble and burden for Sowon Unnie, she already hand full right now. You better do a sort of contemplation. Self reflection. Are you that great so you think you can dis other people?"

Then Yerin left SinB with kinda stomping steps, obviously upset.

Sowon is in deep thought.

 

Do I too stern to them?

Do I really dictated them too much?

Uhm... maybe I should just play along with them. They still kids, afterall... I shouldn't to stern to them

Huft~... Sojung you fool!

If I just play along and more to be their friend they might hear me better.

Maybe I am unsuitable with them. I even talentless than them. I just such a burden for their success.

 

Sowon keep blaming herself silently.

 

 

"Unnie. Stop blaming yourself."

Yerin's warn and tap on Sowon's arm causing the older girl yelped. Obviously caught off guard.

 

"Yah! How many time I should tell you to don't surprise me like that!" Sowon slap Yerin's arm lightly.

"I already calls you for many times, but you just too drown on your thought." Yerin nag. "Stop blaming yourself!" Yerin repeat her words.

"I'm not!" Sowon deny.

"You can't fool me. I'm definitely sure you're blaming yourself right now. I know you too well, Unnie!" Yerin insist.

 

Sowon finally just sigh deeply, obviously accept the accuse.

"Am I a Dictator?" She ask.

"No, you're not. SinB is just being savagely childish. Don't let her words hurt you." Yerin soothing.

Sowon sigh again, "I'm sorry to put you on my dictation when you actually not involved on Maknaes matter."

"Stop it using those words! 'dictation', 'Dictator'... sounds awful. I don't want to hear it anymore. You made a wise decision. I'm agree with you to 'punish' Maknaes to make them realize to appreciate each other better. I know very well your good intention. I also know very well you already hold yourself a lot. So you don't need to feel sorry to me. I will always got your back, Unnie. You always can count on my support. I'm sure Maknaes will learn and understand your policy then back to peace in close time. But please... stop blaming yourself. It hurt me everytime you do that, Unnie..." Yerin plead.

Sowon sigh again, she has teary eyes, "Thanks Yerin-ah. Your full trust and support are mean a lot to me." Then she chocked up.

"Awww~... Come here, Unnie. I bet you need a hug right now." Then Yerin spread her arms so Sowon can drown herself in her warm bear hug. Yerin caress Sowon's back gently as she feel the older-girl's shaking body along her soft sobs.

GFriend The Show Bingo Talk, Fingertip Era :

The girls have to guess each other answer/thought of questions. When the game came to Umji's turn....

 

Question : Sowon gave up as a leader when someone said "____"

 

The girls make guesses, but it so hard, they almost give up, they ask for at least a hint. The Show PD-Nim accept the deal when the girls offer to show a group tallent to do body wave as a group.

After the tallent showed, Umji give a hint by body gesture. The girls, SinB to be exact, manage to make a close guess after got the hint, then Sowon even make the precise sentence of the answer.

 

Answer : "So... Leader do it first!"

 

That make Umji jumping excitedly with wide eyes, then froze in awe, having goosebump at how exact detail of the sentence is got right.

 

 

Then The Show PD-Nim, give a spoiler of what Sowon's answer at the same question...

 

Question : When Sowon gives up being a leader ?

Answer   : When she feel unsuitable with other members.

 

"Aawww~... " the girls all respond in shock and sad tone, while Sowon just laughing --- pretend that it's not a big deal.

"Nope, we just never thought like that..." SinB said.

"For real!" Eunha add.

 

"As a leader, you need to think of your members first. I can't ignore the thoughts at all." Sowon said seriously to the camera, while her members looking at her with kinda thin smile that also look like grimace of concern.

"Look at the camera, Unnie!" Yerin ask.

After Sowon then look at the camera, and the monitor shows the full face shot of Sowon's face, then Yerin boldly spell : 최고 리더 (chwego leader : the best leader) while point to surround Sowon's head, that make Sowon chocked then turn to look at her members with teary eyes.

 

On that show, Sowon guessed the most. She guessed what CF that Yuju want to be model at ; then at SinB's answer about the unexpectedly y members in their group, Sowon actually guessed right that the answer is SinB herself, but not proof by The Show PD-Nim because not the exact sentence of SinB's answer ; but it still proof that Sowon is really know very well of her each members.

GFriend's van, on their way back to dorm after finished schedules.

Sowon is sleeping. While other members are suprisingly not in sleep mode, they are in their each deep thought.

 

"Yewon-ah..." SinB break the silent with her kinda timid tone. Umji turn back to look at her to find SinB is offering her hand.

"I'm sorry for been such a selfish jerk." SinB boldly admit. "I miss hang out and goof around with you. Would you please back be my roommate?"

Umji taken aback, but then her smile bloom then she grab SinB's hand and shake it as they finally make peace.

 

"Yerin Unnie, you can back to your beloved roommate. Thanks for your 'smacked', I get it now." SinB said while smirking wittily.

Yerin scoffed and also smirking, "Ask it anytime..." SinB chuckle.

 

"By the way, Yerin Unnie, don't you sometimes offended by Sowon Unnie's control? You got scold a lot too..." Eunha ask.

"Uhmmm... Not really. Her scold never really hurt my heart. Since I know for sure what exactly Sowon Unnie's intention on her every scold to us. There's nothing but goodness and love." Yerin said bring heartwarming to her dongsaengs's heart as they all smile and glance to each other.

 

"As I imagine it... uhmm... this whole time must be so hard for Sowon Unnie. As a leader she has to force herself to scold us a lot and face our rebellion or anger or even madness. When she actually prefer to spoil us." Yuju pause and sigh, "She's motherly actually."

 

The girls back to silent mode, having deep thought of Yuju's said just now, and can't be more agree than that.

 

 

"Girls, we're here!" Manager-Oppa announce as the van finally stop completely.

 

The girls about to get down when they find Sowon is still sleeping. They stop and staring at her. Somehow feeling sorry for her.

 

"What's wrong? You want me to wake her up?" Manager-Oppa ask, wonder.

"No.. no... no... no...! We'll wake her up by ourself." The girls reject Manager-Oppa's offer.

 

But before they wake Sowon up, they manage to get out through Yerin's door, then gather their stuffs also Sowon's, give extra time for Sowon sleep a bit more.

 

"Unnie, wake up... we're arrived at dorm." Yerin carefully call.

Sowon wriggle a bit, then open her eyes, streatching and yawn, then after take a deep breath she wake up then get out from the van.

"Where my stuffs?" Sowon ask while still half asleep.

"We got yours already. C'mon!" Yerin said then twine Sowon's arm then pull her to get inside the building. Sowon just nod, she not forget to greet farewell and thankful to Manager-Oppa and Driver-Oppa for their effort that day, then just let Yerin pull her.

 

Sowon just sit on her bed side when SinB come with a mug on her hand, stop close on the front of Sowon. Sowon lift her taken-aback-face to look at the younger girl. Suprisingly SinB then kneel on one knee in front of Sowon, "Sowon Unnie, I get it now. So... I'm sorry for being rebellious and childish. Please forgive me for my harsh word to you. You are definitely not a Dictator. You are our... my great Leader-Unnie. I get it now. I miss Yewon and I want her back become my roommate. Would you please let me make it up to her... I owe her better treatment. I also gonna make it up to you by become better member and your better dongsaeng." Then SinB offer the mug to Sowon, "I warm this milk just for you to ease your tired, I hope it will help you to have a nice sleep and sweet dream." SinB timidly say with blushing face.

 

Sowon just stare at the tsundere-girl for a moment in silent. SinB become nervous time to time, then low her face, worry that Sowon will reject her plead. SinB suddenly get a thought...

 

Uhm... maybe this is what a guy feels like when waiting for his proposal result when they ask a girl to become his girlfriend or wife. What a nervous... huft~...

 

SinB's heart almost get attack when finally Sowon take the mug from her hand, then sip the milk from it. SinB lift her face to look at her oldest-unnie.

Sowon reach out her free hand to caress SinB's head, "Go to sleep. It's late at night. We have tight schedules tomorrow." Sowon said motherly that somehow warm SinB's heart and get her goosebump all over her body.

SinB's smile bloom, "Okay Unnie. Thank you. Goodnight. I love you." Then SinB get up and peck Sowon's cheek before left the Unnies-Line's room with light steps.

 

 

Sowon already had washed and change to her pajamas when Yerin enter the room with blanket and plush toys on her hands.

"Goodnight and sleep tight, Unnie." Yerin greet while climb up to her usual bed.

"Goodnight, Yerin-ah." Sowon greet back, "Thanks for your support and for trust in me."

"Just remember that I will always got your back, Unnie." Yerin casually said then yawn.

"I'll keep that in mind for sure." Sowon said back.

 

 

 

 

Then before a minute later, GFriend's dorm goes silent. The girls already drift to deep sleep in their each bed on their sharing rooms, with their respective roommate. Peacefully.
