"Achoo~..! Achoo~...!!" Umji had sneeze for several times. It's all because she had an interaction with dogs just before they get in their van.

About a while ago, GFriend who just finished their schedule on particular out door venue, about to heading to their next schedule when few Buddy approached them just when they about to get in their van, among those fans brought their dogs with them, and Umji excitedly welcomed the dogs also, and compliment on how cute they are. But then she start to snezze, again and again... obviously, her allergy was relapse.

 

"Umji-ah... how could you forget about your allergy? You shouldn't play with the dogs." SinB nag her roommate.

"I thought I already overcome my allergy since our 'Look After Our Dog' 2 years ago. I've been fine with animals and fur since then.. this is my first time relapse since we done that show. Achoo !!" Umji wipe her runny nose that already turns to red.

 

While the girls busy nagging their Maknae, Sowon bend over to the front seats for quietly ask, "Oppa, please stop a side on that store!"

The driver stop the van. Sowon open the door then step out.

 

"Why we stop? Where Sowon Unnie go? She still on her stage costume, she might gonna catch people's attention and caused big commotion." The girls worry.

"She cover it with her padded coat. She need to buy an urgent thing on that store. Since your Manager-Oppa not with us this time to fix something, she has to go by herself." The driver-oppa explain. The girls nod.

 

Not for long Sowon back with a small plastic bag on her hand. As soon as she get back inside the car and close the door she say : "Okay, Oppa, I'm done. Let's go!" Then the driver-oppa continue their ride.

 

Sowon take out something from the plastic bag, then give it to Umji, "Here!" She also hands a bottle of water.

Everyone stuck out their head want to see what thing that Sowon pick for Umji. It's allergy medicine that usually Umji had.

Umji take it then drink along with water that Sowon give to her.

"Thank you, Sowon Unnie." That Maknae give her grateful smile to her Leader Unnie.

 

 

GFriend just finished their last schedule for that day. They are on their way to the parking lot to get their van about to go back to their dorm.

"Unnie~... achoo~! Can I have a hug, please? Achoo~!" Umji get closer to Sowon. That Maknae became such a baby whinner when she feel not so well.

Sowon pull Umji to her embrace. Touch the maknae's forehead. "Uhmm... you have a slight fever. I think we should stop by to check you on the doctor."

 

When they about to get inside their van..

"Eunha and SinB, let us use your back seats. You two can have our seats for a while, is that okay?" Sowon ask permission.

"Yes, Unnie." Eunha and SinB being obidient.

 

Then Sowon and Umji sit on the back seats so the Maknae can cuddle to their Oldest-Unnie comfortably. Sowon tucked her maknae into blanket and hug her all the time. Their van being silent, just Umji's snuffles and sneez make the stuffy and gloomy atmosphere.

They stop at the hospital for check on Umji's condition.

"Yerin-ah, cover me, will you?! Watch your dongsaengs!" Sowon ask casually while passing by her second in command as she about to get down from the van with Umji.

"Okay, Unnie. I got your back. Don't worry." Yerin reassure.

 

 

After a while Yerin's cellphone vibrated. She pick the call.

 

*on phone talk

Yerin : "Hello? Yes Unnie?"

Sowon : "Doctor said it's better for Umji to stay at the hospital. She already got the injection but she also need IV fluid to get better faster. Her respiratory tract a bit swollen. I'll stay with her. You and the rest of the girls just go back to dorm and rest well."

Yerin : "Where's Umji's room, Unnie?"

Sowon : "We're at ... bla... bla... bla..."

Yerin : "Okay." 

*end of phone talk

 

"Girls, Umji has to stay. Sowon Unnie will be with her. We'll back to dorm." Yerin tell her dongsaengs.

"Is Umji that bad?" SinB ask in worry.

"No. She'll be get better, but for now she need IV fluid." Yerin try to soothing. "Uhmm... give me Sowon Unnie and Umji's bag!" Yerin ask. Her members give the bags, then Yerin check inside the bags, take out some stuffs then put in their casual sandals.

"I'll be back soon. Don't get out!" Yerin warn her members and they nod obidiently. "Oppa, watch them for me for a while, please. I need to go to Sowon Unnie. I'm not gonna long." Yerin politely ask her driver-oppa.

"Okay, Yerin-ah." driver-oppa answer.

 

Umji's room door open..

Yerin get inside, "I bring your stuffs. I think you need to change to more comfortable clothes. I bring your sandals too."

"Ouwh... thanks Yerin. We really need it. Thanks for your concern." Sowon said while accept the bags.

"Go change now! I'll bring your costume and shoes back with me. They need to go to the laundry." Yerin said.

Sowon smile proudly and nod, then go to the bathroom to change.

 

"Yewon-ah, you'll be better soon, right?" She ask while at the same time supporting the ill maknae.

Umji nod. She already in hospital patient clothes having an IV fluid and breathing through an inhaller. Yerin still can see Umji's eye smile that reassure her that maknae is not in too bad condition, also Sowon's calm expression before is soothing her.

 

"Here Yerin-ah..." Sowon hands her and Umji's costume and shoes to Yerin, "Call me if there's something happen!"

"Okay, Unnie. Don't worry. I'll take care the kids and the dorm." Yerin give her words.

"Oh yeah... for tomorrow, remember, you have to wake Eunha first! You know how difficult that sleepyhead to wake, you need to nag for few times while wake Yuju and SinB. Eventhough you go to wake Eunha first but she will completely wake up as the last person. Just buy the breakfast so you don't have to cook. If tomorrow Umji's condition get better and Doctor allow, we will meet you at the venue. Bring our stuffs along with you, okay?" Sowon's long notes for Yerin.

"Yeah... yeah... I know, Unnie. You really like mommies who love to give a looong notes, remind about obvious things and tell you what to do. Don't worry." Yerin rolled her eyes teasingly that get a slap on her arm from Sowon.

 

Not too long...

Yerin back to the van along with Sowon and Umji's costume and shoes.

"Umji is gonna get better. Don't worry, Kids. Let's just go home." Yerin tell her members who waiting with worries plastered on their faces.

 

At GFriend's dorm...

The girls already finished their clean up and on their pajamas, ready to go to sleep.

"Unnie, can I sleep here? I hate to sleep alone." SinB came to Unnies's sharing room.

Yerin nod. "You can use Sowon Unnie's bunk. It's that okay?"

SinB nod then get on Sowon's bunk.

 

"Uhmm... here is full of Sowon Unnie's scent. Smells good." SinB muttered while adjust herself on that unfamiliar bunk.

 

"Unnie..." SinB call.

"Hmm..?" Yerin respond casually.

"Are you not bored sharing room with Sowon Unnie? You've been together since our first dorm day, also from the old dorm. You also the longest trainee among our group members who spend time with her, since you come the second after Sowon Unnie. Don't you want to refresh?" SinB ask.

"No. It's okay. I already used to Unnie very well. We're having good time together and I think I'm gonna miss her a lot if I'm not with her." Yerin said.

"Uhmm... I do miss Umji too at times like our break time, like Chuseok holiday when we get home for few days. I guess I know how you feels like.." SinB said after reminiscing, "But you constantly being with Sowon Unnie, there's must be times you bored to her, right?"

"I'm a human too, so of course it's normal to feel bored sometimes. Even to your own family there're times we feel bored, right? But we stick together. Same case with Sowon Unnie, until this moment she never intend to hurt my feeling or dissapoint me. She's kind, sweet, good unnie also a very dependable leader, she also can play along and dorky. I don't have any complaint to her, except... on how she 'loves' to carry burdens by herself. Goodness... that's all I hate about her." Yerin express her last part of her sentences with upset tone.

"Didn't Sowon Unnie like to tell and share her mind and her problem with you, Unnie?" SinB ask.

"She did share sometimes... but I guess just for small and petty things. The hard matters she keep by herself and just tell when everything solved. Gosh... I hate her everytimes she do that."  Yerin even stomping on her bunk.

"Wow~... wow~... take it easy, Unnie. Remember I'm down here. It gonna be really hillarious and silly if tomorrow there's headline news 'GFriend's SinB smashed by one of her group member, literally'... " SinB said make Yerin chuckle.

 

"Uhmm... I actually notice sometimes when Sowon Unnie seems has something in mind. She will just so quiet with frown forehead. She look so serious. At times like that I can't help to think that I shouldn't trouble her, I even unconsciously hold my breath to prevent any voice that might bother her." SinB confess.

"Yeah... she look charming with overload dignity when she in serious mode, right? She look so cool at times like that. If I'm a guy I will definitely fall in love to her." Yerin chuckle.

"Yeah! Me too. If I'm a guy I definitely fall in love to her. She's so beautiful and kind. If she's mine I will protect her, help her, not let her carry any burdens, and make her happy and...."

Yerin cut SinB's words, "I think even as you now, you already love her, SinB-ah... you make me jealous from heard your words just now " Yerin chuckle.

SinB secretly blushing, then clear nervously, "Uhmm... Sowon Unnie normally sweet but when she mad she can be really scary." SinB try to change the topic, prevent Yerin teasing her more.

"Yeah. I remember when Unnie scold you when you once fainted on stage when we at event held at Jeonbuk University, few months ago." Yerin reminiscing.

"Yeah, that was the most scary of her that I've ever know. But I admit that was my fault. Sowon Unnie already told me to skip that last performance, but I keep insist that I would made it since we don't have to dance on 'Mermaid' song." SinB said in regret.

"She indeed mad and scold you hard that time. But please don't hurt by that. Uhmm... I shouldn't tell you this.. since I promised to Sowon Unnie not to tell anyone. But you had brought up this topic, I think you should know.." Yerin sounds a bit hesitate.

"What is it?" SinB curiously ask.

 

"Uhmm... that night after Sowon Unnie scold you, she cried. She felt so bad to mad and scolded you while you still unwell. She thought it's her fault because she not took care of you better. She regret to not tried harder to made you skip that last performance. She thought that she supposed to aware of your condition earlier. She blame herself." Yerin's explanation bring lump on SinB's throat and tears start to stream from the corner of her eyes.

"You know Sowon Unnie rarely let herself off guard. She has very good self control. She always the fastest to regain calmness and sanity among us, so then she able to comfort us. Remember when we got overwhelmed everytime we got any awards? Sowon Unnie always be the first who able to did proper speechs but she always did it after she calm us. But that night she cried hardly and even at times like that she still manage to hide her sobs. I even almost not realized it since she really good at it. But because I caught her she forcefully had to shared it with me. But who knows, how often actually she cried silently like that... and that thought worry me a lot." Yerin sigh gloomy. She can hear SinB's sobbing on below bunk.

"You should told her not to blame herself, Unnie. It's my own fault. I should be the one who supposed to aware about my own health. It's my own body (Sobs). I'm the only one who could feel it (sobs). I should do what she told me to do (Sobs). I shouldn't against her advice (Sobs). I should.... (sobs)" SinB bubbling uncontrollably among her sobs.

 

"Stop it, SinB-ah... it's already happened. Just be better next time. Don't trouble Sowon Unnie." Yerin wisely advice.

"Yes, I will, Unnie." SinB obidiently said.

At the hospital...

Sowon fell asleep on the chair next Umji's bed. Her head is hanging low. Umji awake because feel thristy. She turn to sit then take a glass of water on the top of small cabinet next to her bed and drink it. After relieve her thirsty, she look at her sleeping unnie.

 

Sowon Unnie look tired... her neck gonna sore if she sleep like that for long time.

Uhmm... she look aged. Did I caused that?

 

Suddenly feeling guilty creeping into Umji's heart.

 

"Unnie, Sowon Unnie... Sojung Unnie..." Umji carefully tap Sowon's lap.

Sowon wriggle, then lift her head and look at Umji in sleepy eyes, "Uhm? You need something, Yewon-ah? Or you want me to call the Doctor?"

"No. I'm fine. You must get sore neck if you sleep like that, Unnie. You can sleep next to me. It's big enough for both of us." Umji said.

"It's okay. I can sleep on the couch." Then Sowon get up from the chair about to go to the couch, but Umji stop her by holding her hand.

"No, Unnie! Sleep next to me. Please~..." Umji start to whine.

Sowon look at her pouting Maknae, then chuckle, "Okay, Maknae." Then Sowon slide under Umji's blanket and lay next to her. Once Sowon settle down, Umji snuggle to her.

"You such a baby." Sowon sweetly nag then carefully embrace her Maknae, make sure to not bother the IV fluid hose. She rubbing Umji's back dearly, "Go back to sleep, Maknae. Unnie will stay next to you. Tomorrow you'll back healthy." Then Sowon peck Umji's crown head.

"Thank you for take good care of me, Unnie. I love you so much." Umji cuddled deeper to Sowon.

"Eung~.. I love you too, Yewon-ah.' Sowon said in return.

On the morning...

Yerin wake by alarm ring. She turn it off then about to doze again when suddenly she wonder why it's strangely quiet this morning?... usually Sowon Unnie wake her even before her alarm ring. Then she remember that her leader-unnie is not around and she's the one who in charge to take care her members, that thought make Yerin quickly awake then climb down her storey bed.

SinB still in deep sleep. Yerin gently wake the younger girl. Then go to 97line's sharing room and wake Eunha first, as Sowon's warn that sleepyhead girl is indeed hard to waken up, she just wriggle and whine then dozed off again. Yerin turn to wake Yuju and that girl is easier to waken, she even politely greet her, "Good morning, Yerin Unnie. Is there any news about Yewon?"

"Good morning, Yuna-yah. There's no call yet from Sowon Unnie. But I think Umji is getting better. Don't worry. They might directly meet us at the venue. So go to prepare now." Yerin tell.

"Yes, Unnie." Yuju answer obidiently.

 

Yerin get out from the bathroom then check on her members preparation progress when she find out that Eunha even still not wake up yet, when she enter the 97line's room, Yuju is on process trying to waken up her roommate. Yerin feel her blood tension is climb up.

Yerin slap Eunha's quite hard, "EUNHA-YAH!! Jung Eunbi!! Wake up! I'm not as patient as Sowon Unnie, so you better not test me!"

Yuju a bit shocked by Yerin's blunt warn, that girl jolted and curled. While Eunha finally manage to force herself to wake and turn to sit position, "Okay... okay... I'm wake."

"Good! Now get off from your bunk and wash your face in cold water!" Yerin's stern cold.

"Yes, Unnie." Eunha obidiently answer.

 

"Ouwh... indeed Sowon Unnie is the sweetest to wake me up.." Yerin can still hear Eunha's mutter while she walk out from the room, also Yuju's warn to her roommate to watch her words, so then Yerin decided to just let it go and continue to walk to Maknaes's sharing room and feeling better when find SinB are ready and even on process helping to pack Umji's stuffs.

"I'll take care about packing Umji's stuffs, Unnie. So you just have to mind other things." SinB said while busy put the stuffs inside the bag, that girl even make a list note to make sure she not forget important things.

Yerin smile proudly, "Thanks SinB-ah. Sowon Unnie is right, eventhough you beagle and rebellious but you can be dependable on the certain times."

"Sowon Unnie said that about me?" SinB ask wondering.

Yerin nod, "Yeah. That's why she worryless about you. She trust and count on you."

SinB blushing heard that.

Yerin chuckle, "Eventhought both of you seems like 'Tom and Jerry' but actually you love and mind each other deeply. Am I right?"

"What you talking about? I'm not mind Sowon Unnie that deep..." SinB pretended to deny.

Yerin laugh, "Okay. Whatever you say.. I'm sure if Sowon Unnie hear your words just now she must be dissapoint." Yerin said while turn around about to leave the room, but SinB quickly respond, "Don't tell Sowon Unnie!"

Yerin stop and turn to face SinB, "Why I can't tell her? You said you don't mind Sowon Unnie."

SinB look anxious, "Just don't tell her. I don't want to dissapoint her."

"You said you don't mind Sowon Unnie." Yerin repeat her words, teasing.

"Yeah.. but still... don't tell her!" SinB start to stutter.

Yerin shrug off her shoulder unchalantly, "It's up to me, whether I tell her or not." Then turn around and walk away eventhough she can hear SinB beg her, "Don't tell her, please!" Yerin keep walking to her room while holding to not burst her laugh out loud and just thought :

 

You should just admit it, SinB-ah... why you keep put your pride that high when you actually respect and love Sowon Unnie very much. Silly girl... hahaha!

 

GFriend girls -- minus Sowon and Umji -- having breakfast at one of their favourite place. While they in the middle of savouring their each food, Yerin notice that Yuju having trouble peeling her shrimp. Yerin suddenly remember that usually Sowon is the one who aware and remember about something like that. Sowon will always patiently peel the shrimp for Yuju, since that girl always trouble with that. Yuju is kind of girl who always try her best to not bother anyone, she almost never ask help for something like that and Sowon know it very well since it's the same thing that Sowon did too, so that Leader will always take initiative to step forward, peeling Yuju's shrimp/lobster/crab without Yuju need to ask. As seafood lover peeling that kind of food is easy and fun for Sowon, she know very well how to do it. She even motherly feed the younger girl after peeling the shrimp/lobster/crab.

It's all because once happened at very first when they went to ate shrimp dish, each of them so into savouring the dish and no one aware that Yuju struggle peel the shrimp, at that time they didn't have too long time because they had to go to their schedule as soon as finished their meal, in the end Yuju succeed peeled and ate just a shrimp, she finished all her bowl of rice without any dish. When they found out that, they laughed at her, but Yerin still remember that Sowon were not laugh along with them, instead that girl look sad and regret, after that happened Sowon will always peel Yuju's shrimp/lobster/crab. It goes to other members also. Sowon take noted and remember every members like and dislike or allergic to, then inform it to Manager-Oppa to manage every members get food that they able to eat and make sure they had enough meal. She obviously pouring her members with her love and care.

 

Yerin get up from her seat then move closer to Yuju's side, then start to pick a shrimp and peel it. Her action surprise Yuju, that girl lift her face and stare at Yerin. Yerin chuckle looking at Yuju's dumbfound face, "Since Sowon Unnie not here to peel it for you, so let this Unnie do it for you as Sowon Unnie behalf." Yerin said make Yuju smile gratefully, "Thank you, Yerin Unnie."

The other members smile with warm heart. It make them realize that all this time they never aware about Yuju's/other members petty trouble and just have fun with themself, that fact embarrassing them. Eventhough it seems petty things for other people, but for pertinent person it's a big deal. While other who-full-stomach laughing at Yuju's 'incapable of shrimp-peeling', it shows that they not aware that Yuju's incapable is causing her can't get enough proper meal. Everybody will upset when they don't get enough meal, right? It's a big deal. But the fact that all this time only Sowon who aware of that and always voluntarily peeled it for Yuju's sake even before Sowon eat her own meal is a noble deed that make the girls proud and grateful for their Leader-Unnie. That morning incident is bring an important self-note for them to be better person and more care for the others, especially their group members, follow example of their Leader Unnie.

At the hospital...

That morning Doctor check on Umji's latest condition and stated that she's fit to continue her activiies. The swollen is gone, Umji can breath normally. Her sneez also gone. She's totally fine now. But for anticipation, Doctor will give a few low dose medicine for take away.

Sowon is completing the administration and payment things while Umji prepare to go. A nurse helping Umji to take off her IV hose.

"Your Leader Unnie is really caring and dependable person. Other idols who've been here usually the manager who manage and take care of things like that." The nurse compliment.

"Our Manager-Oppa has something else to handle right now. So Unnie do it." Umji innocently explain.

"Yeah. But other idols would just call the company to send other person to take care of it." The nurse said.

"Really? They did that?..." Umji wonder. The nurse nod.

 

Wow... Sowon Unnie is really great.

Umji thought.

 

 

"Is it done?" Suddenly Sowon enter the room and ask the nurse.

"Yes it's done." The nurse answer.

"Thank you for take care of my dongsaengs during her treatment here." Sowon bow politely.

"You're welcome." The nurse smile happily.

"Then go change your clothes, Umji-ah." Sowon said to Umji.

"Yes, Unnie." Then Umji obidiently do as she told to.

 

After a while...

"I'm ready, Unnie." Umji report after put her casual sandal that Yerin bring last night.

"Good girl. Let's go!" Sowon smile then offer her hand for Umji hold to.

Umji smile then happily grab her Unnie's hand. Then they go hand in hand. Sowon stop a cab then they leave the hospital straight to their schedule.

 

While on the cab... Umji snuggle to Sowon, wrap her arm on Sowon's waist.

"Do you still feel unwell?" Sowon ask in worry.

"No. I'm totally fine now. I just so happy being with you, Unnie. Thank you for take good care of me." Umji said cutely.

Sowon chuckle then pats Umji's head dearly.

 

Not for long they arrive at the venue. The event orgizer see them when they came out from the cab then lead them to their waiting room. When they get there, their members welcome them cheerfully.

"Sowon Unnie! Umji-yah!"

 

"Maknae-yah, are you okay now?" They ask in concern.

"Yes, Unnies. I'm fine now. I'm sorry for made you worry." Umji bow politely, make her Unnies squeal at how cute their Maknae's act.

 

Yerin come closer to Sowon, hands a bottle of water, Sowon accept it, "Everythings, okay?" She ask then gulp the water.

Yerin nod, "Yes. Everythings okay, Unnie."

"Good. Thank you, Yerin-ah. I knew I can count on you." Sowon caress Yerin's head dearly, make Yerin smile happily for her Unnie compliment.

 

Then they prepare for their performance.
