January 23rd 2019, MBC Idol Radio last corners :

Ilhoon : "As a Leader you might be grateful to all members. But can you pick one that you are most grateful?"

Sowon : "Umji!"

The rest of the members : "Oh! No hesitation!"

Ilhoon : "She choose Umji without any hesitation. What's the reason?"

Sowon : "Recently, I went through hardships. Umji noticed it. She tried hard to take care of me. I was so moved."

Ilhoon : "The rest of the member are all crying. Can you briefy tell us what happened?"

Umji : "I can just tell... my little care touched her heart. It's an honor. Thank you."

Ilhoon : "It's hard to help the eldest as the youngest."

Sowon : "Umji indeed the youngest, but she's the one that I most often to talked to. So when something happens, I talk to Umji very often."

Yerin just got back at their dorm after finished her individual schedule when she find their maknaes are at their living room. SinB is playing with Angko and Meonji, while Umji is reading a book on the couch.

"Maknaes!! Your favourite Unnie is home!!" Yerin brightly and loudly announce her entering. Both maknaes just glance for a second then back to what their currently doing.

"Yah! What a cold and lousy welcome from both of my cute maknaes!! C'mon! You can do better than this!!" Yerin nagging, being sulky.

SinB is not responding, she giggling playing with those puppies. So Yerin turn to look at Umji then slightly poke the youngest members of their group, successfully to get Umji's attention.

Umji shift her gaze from the book to Yerin who pouting, she calmly fixing her glasses, form a smile on her face, then...

"Welcome home Yerin Unnie!! Yeeaayy!!" Yewon obviously act out her extravaganza greeting.

 

Then... poof!

Yerin's pout instantly gone, change into her famous crescent moon eyes that formed because she smile widely.

"Happy now?" Yewon ask.

"Eung! Happy!" Yerin cheerfully reply.

"Good." Yewon said back then... poof! The happy face gone, then she back to read her book.

Yerin's smile gradually change back to pout, "What a savage maknaes I've got.." she upsetly grumbling then left to her room. While behind her back, Maknaes are glance at each other and giggle, satisfied to pranked their unnie.

 

 

In the Unnie Line sharing room...

Yerin find Sowon who look serious staring at her cellphone screen.

"Unnie, I'm home." Yerin greet.

"Eung..." Sowon unchalantly greet back, "How's your work?" She ask without turn to look.

"It's fine. You don't have to worry." Yerin assuring.

"Good." Sowon shortly respond. Then she get up then come out from their room.

 

Right before the door completely closed, Yerin heard Sowon voice...

"Umji-ah, can I talk with you for a moment?"

It makes Yerin think...

 

Uhmmm... what actually Unnie need to talk about? Why she not tell me... instead talk to Umji?

 

 

Another day. At SouMu Practise Room.

Yerin just arrive, after finished her individual schedule. Umji is the first member that she meet. That Maknae is sitting on the couch, practising her singing part for their next comeback.

 

"Where're everybody?" Yerin ask as she flopped herself on the couch, next to Umji.

"Oh Yerin Unnie, you're back. Eunbies are on the dance practise, Yuju Unnie is inside the recording room, while Sowon Unnie... uhmm... she went with Manager-Oppa, I don't know where... but I sense that something happened." Umji said.

"Something happened? What are you talking about?" Yerin questioning.

"I don't know... I just sense it. Sowon Unnie is not calm like she used to be, she's fidgeting. You know how great Sowon Unnie's abillity to hide problems from us, right? Sowon Unnie in her principle as a Leader that she will do everything by herself to solve problems without involving her members. Argh! I hate that one principle of her. It's just ridiculous! How can she having that principle? Who told her to do that actually?" Umji is unconsciously crumpling the song paper on her hand, upset.

Yerin chuckle, "Hey, calm down, Maknae! Look what you've done to that paper! What the fault of that paper so you crumpled it harshly like that? Hahaha!!"

Umji is surprise to look at the paper, she chuckle in embarassement.

"It just your assumption, right? Maybe you wrong... what bad things that might happened?" Yerin trying to be positive.

Umji sigh, "Yeah, that's also what I wish, that everything is okay, everything is fine. Maybe you are right, Unnie. I'm making assumption..  seems I think too much."

Yerin dearly caressing Umji's head, "Calm yourself down."

"Yes, Unnie." Umji politely reply.

 

 

Eunbies came and join them on that free space room, while having an ice cream in each their hand.

"Yah! Where's mine? How could you eat it by yourself?!" Yerin whine.

SinB glare at her Unnie, "You should just politely ask it..." then take a small plastic bag that Eunha carry on her hand then give it to Yerin.

Yerin take the bag then take a look inside, her pout turn to grin when she find there are 3 ice creams in it. Yerin take one then give the rest of it to Umji.

"If I take one, then to whom belong this last ice cream?" Umji ask.

"Yuju's." Eunha said 

"Then what about Sowon Unnie?" Umji ask again.

"These are from Sowon Unnie." SinB tell.

"Where is she?" Umji ask.

"She went out with Manager-Oppa. She said she has something to do." Eunha tell.

Umji unconsciously just let down her hands that holding ice creams on her lap by heard that. Her face become expressionless.

 

"Hey, don't think too much!" Yerin reminding that Maknae.

Umji just nod.

 

"What? What is Yewon think? Why she shouldn't think?" SinB become suspicious by heard Yerin warn to Umji just now.

"Umji is having sense that Sowon Unnie is facing problem." Yerin tell.

"What trouble?" Eunha ask then take a small bite of her ice cream.

"I don't know... I just feel that there's something that Sowon Unnie, hide from us..." Umji tell.

"She look normal like she used to be." SinB said.

"Yeah. I think so too. Unnie look normal." Eunha said too.

"Yerin Unnie, you are her roommate. Sowon Unnie must be tell you something if really she has problem, right?" SinB ask.

"Uhmm... yeah, Unnie used to tell me... But just for small things." Yerin said.

"Just for small things?! What do you mean?!" Eunha questioning.

Yerin sigh, "You know... how Sowon Unnie... she strictly put herself on position as our Leader, even more for important and serious things. She indeed nag us a lot for petty things, she repeat it over and over again until it felt as if she brainwashed us, right?"

Eunha, SinB, and Umji naturally nod without thinking.

"I get that a lot. I know that very well. Even more I'm her roommate. She 'brainwashed' me almost all the time." Yerin exagerate it and roll her eyes sarcastically. It makes her three dongsaengs laugh at her.

"But I guess it doesn't worked on you, Unnie. You still being you. Sowon Unnie still have long way to keep try to brainwash you to be like what she want you to be." Eunha mocking and laugh. SinB and Umji laugh even more, while Yerin glare at that bob hair girl.

"But even though she loves to exaggerate those annoying nagging but let me tell you... based on my experience as her friend and her roommate for all these years... she tend to hid very well serious problems for herself to solved behind our back." Yerin tell.

Her dongsaengs deeply sigh.

 

 

 

Later... late at night at GFriend's dorm.

Sowon just comeback. Inside the dorm already dark. The girls seems already sleep. Sowon go to the kitchen to get a drink. She jolted as soon as she turn around and find Umji standing on the door.

 

"Oh my God!!! Geezz.. Yewon-ah, you almost got me heart attack. Why you just silently standing in the dark behind my back?" Sojung scolding while rubbing her chest to calm down her rapid heartbeat.

"Because you also doing that, Unnie..." Yewon said timidly.

"What? What am I doing?" Sojung drink some more, then take a sit on the dining seat.

Umji then also take a sit next to Sowon, "Are you okay, Unnie?" She ask in concern.

Sowon frown, "I'm fine. Why you asking?"

"You seems has problem..."

"Problem? What problem?"

"I don't know... why don't you tell me?"

"I don't have problem."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah."

"Okay, if you say so..."

"Let's go to sleep. I'm tired."

"Okay."

 

Then they get up. Sowon wash the glass that she just used then put it back on shelf.

"Goodnight, Yewon-ah." Sowon said as she turm to the way to her room, while Umji take the opposite way to her room.

"Goodnight, Sowon Unnie. Feel free to share 'it' with all of us." Yewon said.

Sowon stop by heard that. Then turn around to facing Umji. "Share 'it'... what 'it' you talked about?"

"Whatever 'it' that you hide from us." Umji brave herself to said it.

"I don't understand. What do you mean?" Sowon keep acting fool.

"Something happened, right Unnie? What is it? I'm worry about you." Umji said in trembling voice.

Sowon can see that Umji's below lip and chin are start to tremble. That Maknae's eyes is tearing up. Yewon obviously about to cry.

Sowon sensely steps closer, "Hey... why you crying?" Then she pull Umji to her embrace.

Umji's arms wrapping the slender body of her Unnie, "I'm worry about you, Unnie~..."

"What makes you worry?"

"You tell me..."

"Nothing. Everything is okay. Everything is fine. I'm okay. I'm fine. Don't worry."

"I don't believe you!" Umji whine.

Sowon chuckle, "Then what you want me to say actually?"

"Tell us your concern. Share your burden with us. Let we help you. You are not alone, Unnie." Umji blabbering upsetly.

"Okay... okay..." Sowon trying to soothe that upset Maknae. Gently caressing her head. "I will do that if I have something. But not now, Yewon-ah."

Umji loosen her hug, showing her sulky face.

 

"Oh... how cute of you, Maknae-ah~..." Sowon squeals and pinch Umji's cheeks.

"Unnie! You distract the topic!" Umji protest.

Sowon chuckle, "No, I'm not. What for? There's nothing I hiding from you."

"Liar!" Umji insist.

"No, I'm not lying. It's true." Sowon persuading.

 

Umji pouting, then pull Sowon's body back into hug, "I love you, Unnie. I care about you... a lot."

"I know. And I'm grateful for that. Thank you. Your concern is strengthen me." Sowon tightly hug Yewon back.

 

They apart their hug. Sowon gently wipe Umji's tears.

"The problem already solved. I'm okay now. Don't worry, Yewon-ah." Sowon said in bitter smile.

Yewon's eyes wider, "Indeed you hide something!" She accuse.

Sowon chuckle, "I'm sorry. But everything is under control now. You don't have to worry."

"I'm not worry about the problem. But I'm worry about you. YOU is my concern, Unnie! Don't you get it?!" Umji insist.

"Okay.. okay... I get it." Sowon quickly said.

Umji deeply scoffs. She sulk.

 

 

 

 

Later... on Unnie-line sharing room.

Sowon quietly clean herself up and change to her pajamas, getting ready to sleep. She jolted when suddenly Yerin --- who she thought already in deep sleep --- asking, "Were you had a fight with Yewon just now, Unnie?"

"Oh geezz.. you scares me." Sowon trying to calm herself down before she answer, "No. We didn't fight."

"But I heard Yewon's almost yell at you." Yerin ask.

Sowon sigh, "No. We're fine. We just discussed something."

"Something? Something like what? Problems?" Yerin chasing.

"Don't you start to act like Yewon just did!" Sowon warning.

"What? What Yewon act just now? Did she act like worrying you? Or asked what your problem and told you to tell us and share it with all of us?... if those what Yewon acted to you then 'yes' I acting like that right now, because I'm also worry about you. In matter of facts all of us are worrying you." Yerin nagging.

"Then I'm gonna tell you exactly like what I told to Yewon... The problem already solved. I'm okay now. Don't worry!" Sowon firmly said.

Yerin gawk for a second, "That means that you-..."

"Yeah! Indeed something happened. But I'm not gonna tell you. At least now. Maybe someday. But the important thing is everything is under control now." Sowon almost yell, "Now sleep! I'm tired!" Then Sowon turn off the light then lie on her bed, ready to sleep.

February 1st 2019, on Puff Idol last corner, compliment relay to the game winner (Sowon is the winner) :

Umji : "Thanks for looking around all the things that we don't see. Thanks for seeing us with your warm heart and uhmm... I haven't seen a person who is so honest like you, I thought it's fresh and charming. I have a lot of things I want to resemble you. Thank you."

 

Yerin's turn. She step closer to Sowon, but then back away, seems taken aback on Sowon who offer her hand. Yerin stuttered and timidly chuckle.

Sowon : "Firstly, hold my hand, please!"

Yerin finally grab a hold of her unnie's hand.

Yerin : "Unnie, I see only you all the time. You are really tall so people see only you, your visual. As a roommate, I'm so happy. (Then she turn her gaze to camera) Everyone! You should try to share a room with Sowon Unnie one day."

A.N :

I wonder what happened actually... refers to what Sowon told on Idol Radio. It even made the other members cried just by heard she mentioned it briefly.

Was it because the dating rumour between Sowon with you-know-who-i-mean then his fans bashed her rudely?

Argh~... what happened actually?

Let's hope always the best for GFriend!
