Moonbyul’s pov

My eyes dreamily looking at the front, admiring the beauty of my new teacher but I did not forget my mission. Pricking my ears to listen to the conversation of my target.

“Amber, wae are you so sensitive? I merely breaking ice with the newcomer.” Highness Jung tugging Amber who was having a sulked face.

“Arish~” I muttered under my breath.

 That Amber is so pretty huh?

The body next to me stirred.

WHAT the heck!

She scared the hell of out me!

When she turned her head to my side, her black long hair covering her hair made her look eerily.

I gulped.

Did I just hear an angry growl?

What did I did wrong?

What made it worst was she opened her eyes abruptly and stared at me. Her left green cat shaped eye drilling a hole through my head with her icily glare.

Did I say it is green?!?

My eye popped like goldfish, fingers scraped the desk, all my hairs stood up, body paralyzed, brain stopped functioning and heart almost leapt to my mouth at the sight.

Did I ….

Did I just witness a monster ……

Did I just witness a monster in day light ……?

Did I just witness a monster in day light in my freaking class room?

Just for a few milliseconds, she turned her head away from me and resumed her sleep.

My hands went into my mouth to push down my heart back to my rib cage and rested them  on my left chest. I robotically turned my head and saw Jung and Amber looking at me, at my direction in exact.

Not caring that my deep voice squeaked horribly, “Did you girls see that?” Both of girls looked at me weirdly and Amber mouthed me “What?”

“Did you see the girl’s green eyes? The one that is sleeping next to me.” I pointed to my left, shifted towards Jung with my shoulders touching hers while muttering as low volume as possible, so afraid that I would disturb the green eye monster.

“How to see her eyes when she is back facing us?” Jung tilted her head a little while she asked.

“What a lousy pick up, dude!” Amber scowled with her brows furrowed in disgust and shoved me away from Jung. Jung pulled Amber’s shirt and rubbed her back to calm her down.

“Did you not see it when she turn around facing us just now?” I quizzed.

“She did not turn at all. In fact, she was sleeping motionlessly since the start of the class. She always does that in first class.” Jung offered while Amber nodded.

“What nonsenses are you talking about? Green eyes? Did you forget to bring your eyes out today?” Amber sniggered and gave me a mocking look.

What the hell just happen?

“What is her name?” I needed to get the bottom of this. I don’t have a good feeling about this.

“She hated it when people called her name.” Jung answered with a sincerely look.

“Scarred is her nick.” Amber strangely offered inputs.

Seeing my blurred expression, Amber explained, “Scarred has a long scar that run from her left side of her forehead to her left cheek. She usually cover her face with her long hair.”

“How did she get that?” Curiosity eating into my fear.

“She had an accident while she was young and her family cannot afford her for her plastic surgery. They rather saved up the money for food to be put on the table.” Jung replied with sympathized evidently displayed.

“How did she end up in this expensive school?” She is getting my interest.
