Chronicles of Mr. Kitty-
The Sun, The Moon and The EarthMr. Kitty- missed Myungsoo. In the eighth year of his life, where he grew to be more lethargic and tired, he witnessed the Cosmic group grow into teenagers. They had a sense of style to them that matched them. Hongbin would usually wear tracksuits, as he was vigorously into sports. Jongin took to wearing black skinny jeans and shirts. He would even wear eye-liner sometimes. Mr. Kitty- rarely saw Myungsoo once he was adopted, but the boy looked far more healthier. He was still pale, but instead not as skinny as before. And Suzy, she never changed. However, she underwent changes that was evident in a girl twelve years of age.
Mr.Kitty- witnessed the changes in their attitudes. Hongbin was still enthusiastic, friendly and kind, but the idea of a family overtook his free time. He would often contemplate on this issue, and a void filled his heart. The days he waited for Myungsoo and Suzy’s friends at the private school, left him staring at the children who were collected by their parents. Sometimes, when he was sick with a flu, he imagined what it would be like to have a mother stay up all night, and sing the pain away.
Eunji followed Hongbin wherever he roamed. Perhaps she stalked him, but was very interested to know more about him. Mr. Kitty- was certain that Suzy was not aware of this. And if she had been, then perhaps there would be a riot.
One day, Eunji even made a garland of daisies for him. The vivacious boy let her decorate his crown with the garland. When he would run back to the orphanage, Mr. Kitty- noticed that Eunji would sigh in longing. Mr. Kitty- deemed it pitiful, for the Sun would not think about Eunji. He was too busy thinking about Suzy, and the incident that happened many years back.
Jongin practiced dance classes with all his heart and soul. He was particularly good at it too. Meeting Soojung had induced a change in him, and Mr. Kitty- hoped that it was for the greater good. Jongin also took a liking to metal music, which was compatible with his current look. His hair was gelled back, and he gave off the impression that he was fierce. He particularly took an interest in talking with girls. All Mr. Kitty- could decipher from this change was that Suzy was utterly annoyed.
She should not be annoyed, but there was a change occurring in her. Her heart would race at the sight of Jongin. Confusion swarmed her thoughts. The thought of him holding hands with another girl infuriated her.
Mr. Kitty- predicted that Suzy was also a victim of teenage hormones, and it seemed that Jongin was the catalyst of her decisions. There was no denying in it. The Earth was the reason that her heart danced with melancholy.
Then there was Myungsoo. Mr. Kitty-’s old friend, who was so much like him. Myungsoo was still quiet and calculating. He was even more intelligent, often aiming for the highest results in the class. However, despite his healthier appearance, there was a dimness in his eyes. He was missing the light of the Sun, and the gravitational pull of the Earth. Having a family meant that he had rules and responsibilities to think over. Myungsoo wanted to become an astronaut, and in the process of it, get married to Suzy. The idea came across as absurd and irrational to him now.
His family pushed him to think about the medical field instead.
In fact, his family relied on Myungsoo’s intelligence and his relentless tact on many an occasion.
Such an event happened when Mr. Kitty- visited the private school. Naeun and Suzy were talking about something, as Two-legs often did when they waited for another.
He did not know how it happened, but when Jongin came into the conversation, Suzy uttered some profanity that made Naeun burst into tears. When Myungsoo left class, finding his sister (who was not so chubby anymore) bawling her heart out, and Suzy standing in the corner with an angry frown, he was certainly torn between who to comfort.
Mr. Kitty- was shocked when Myungsoo approached Naeun first. He sensed that this also astonished Suzy, because she too began to sniffle.
When Myungsoo came round to her, she glanced the other way, lips taut, and eyes watery.
“Come on, Suzy, you’re not a little kid anymore. My sister isn’t fat.”
“She needs to stop talking like Jongin is an idiotic model. He’s a human b
