I've had people asking what era The King's Wife is in.

Its not in any historical era, but a world I created on my own. So here is the run down of races as well as events that are need to know. I will not explicitly say which of the girls are from which races, you will eventually find out when you read on. 

I hope this makes sense xD Because I'm terrible at this sort of thing.

Demonic Halfings: 

They are instable in nature, prone to violent tendencies and bouts of unrestrained anger. Most of those halfings have schizophrenia, or a split personality that embraces it's demonic side completely. Most of the time the instability is caused by the conflicting two sides of the blood in the halfing, hence their instable nature and violent tendencies

Abnormally strong

(In the half demons case, the gold of their eyes is restricted to the center, the dark colouring of onyx would encompasse most of the iris, but the basic idea is as above)

Onyx Eyes with central heterochromia medium: Gold coloured, depending on the purity or royalty of your demonic blood. The dark and more vivid the gold colour, the stronger the demonic heritage and royalty---which also means the stronger the schizophrenia and violent instabilities

They have dragon like wings, but these only manifest when the halfings fully awaken their demonic heritage and turn into demons

Angelic Halfings:

They are not very different from regular humans, just that their skin colour is very pale. The whiter the skin colour, the purer the angelic heritage

They're mostly known for being naively kindhearted, which make them suitable queen candidates due to their wide accommodating heart for others

Charismatic. They are also able to convince others to follow them without much pressure or reluctance

Angelic Halfings have no physical characteristics to tell them apart from regular humans, hence they blend in better and are not as ostracized by society as much as the demonic Halfings are.

Werecats

An extinct race of half human half cat beings. Their cat form forms depending in the strength of their character, most are lions and tigers, or even leopards and Panthers, but rarely do any of them shift into household cats.

Werecats can control their eye colour to blend into society better, but have distinctive habits that tell them apart if one looks closely.

They tend to disappear for hours on end if feeling overwhelmed

They are the most excited and hyperactive

They love the outdoors

They have extremely sharp teeth that can cut through almost anything despite not being serrated

Easily frightened at loud noises. Their cat heritage gives them both advantages and disadvantages of a cat. They have heightened senses, sight and hearing, bloodthirst but are also easily startled and scared.

Werecats are also known for their femininity and seductiveness, most es and strippers are female werecats slaves, as werecats have a beautifully proportioned body and are natural charmers

They are intensely protective over their loved ones

When they transform to their cat selves, they retain most of their human characteristics, with a few distinctive features of claws and feline markings on their face, as well as a ta
