Naeun didn’t expect to be drunk that night. But she did, quite spontaneously. Her cheeks were bright red and her words were both muffled and senseless. She didn’t make sense and yet Eunji was still amused with it.

About ten cans of opened beer were scattered in the table with a few already on the ground. Naeun was on her fourteenth can and she didn’t seem to stop soon. The high schooler, who was just absentmindedly sitting in front of her didn’t even finish her first can at all. She was just there, looking after the messed up damsel in distress.

Taking a sip of the not-so-cold beer she had, Eunji smiled. It was a smile that reflected a hundred of years, or even thousands. The smile that Naeun never really noticed the meaning behind.
