Son Naeun
“You’re working too hard, Naeun unnie.”
The young woman turned her head, seeing one of her workmates smiling at her.
“I have to Namjoo-yah, just because my education is already sponsored doesn’t mean I can lie around and be lazy. Besides… some swindler keeps hogging me for money.”
Naeun’s pretty workmate chuckled, walking ahead to make coffee for the new customers of the café. The lady herself just stood by counter, receiving their payment and giving them their orders. It was just a part time job but it sure pays well. Gladly her classes for that semester were mostly in the morning so she can just go to the café after school and work for six hours before ending her shift.
To be honest, it’s already been three months since she found out of the existence of the Greek gods and the demigods and the god of love Cupid himself and she was well… not quite adjusting to that fact yet. I mean, doesn’t it sound like something out of a fantasy movie? I don’t know. It seems to me.
Ever since she has found out, strange things started happening around her as well. More like, she started seeing things. It was just out of the blue. For instance, she once was working in the cashier, counting some bills, when a person walked by the café. Since the café she’s working at has glass windows, she witnessed it clearly… how the person suddenly changed into some kind of monster… She was baffled but decided to turn away and focus on her work, but with her fingers now fiddling in nervousness. One time, a strange looking big guy walked up to her in the counter, asking for a slice of cake. He was weird, in fact, but what made Naeun anxious was the moment she looked through the guy’s face, he had one eye.
And don’t get her started with Jung Eunji… the real Jung Eunji.
At first, she thought that Jung Eunji was a loooooootbetter than when she was possessed by the love god. Turns out, it was the complete opposite.
