She had been scrolling down her Tumblr dashboard when she saw it: a new work from her favourite fanartist.

But what caught her eye, more than the extremely beautiful drawing in itself, was the subject.

Trying not to freek out, she opened the message box and wrote to the artist.

They must have been online since the answer came pretty quickly.

Hello dear! Well that was a commission someone send me last June. They said their girlfriend really liked my drawings and they wanted to give her a draw of her as a gift. That's why I posted the work only now. Since one year went by already, I thought he would have given it to the girl by now. But you say the one in the draw is you and wonder why? That person sent me a bunch of pictures and some videos as a reference too. 

She froze. She didn't have a boyfriend last June. She hadn't had a boyfriend in two years now.
