The world is coming to pieces.
Wars caused by greed, violence on the streets, everyday nonsense killings. People are going insane.

To only add panic to the already tragic situation, all over the world people are found unconscious  and unable to wake up without a reason.
No one can explain what is happening and A doesn't know what to think himself.
That is until he gets attacked in his own house. 

In a world where morality seems to be slipping through people's fingers, leaving only dry despair behind, A finally finds out the truth:
People from a parallel universe come to his to steal what they call "The Precious", souls with goodness still sparkling in their hearts.

Additional: 
- The purest souls are completely snatched from their bodies, leaving an unconscious person in their world.
- The souls with a more or less equal amount of good and bad in them (the majority) leave behind a body with only half of themselves, still capable of being conscious but guided only by their dark part.
