Prompt #28
Spark Creativity Prompt ShopWhen I was in Elementary school, my teacher gave us this homework:
Write about one time you got scared.
I thought for a very long time but nothing came to my mind, so I didn't write anything.
When the teacher scolded me for not doing school work I explained to her what the problem was.
She just wouldn't listen: she had given homework, I had to do them no matter what.
I tried hard but still couldn't recall anything. My mind was blank.
Then, I remembered how some days before my classmate had randomly brought to school a Halloween mask.
I just made up he had pulled a prank on me: he had made me turn around while wearing the mask and scared me.
It was totally untrue but my teacher was satisfied with my homework.
That's when I realised truth sometimes is not important to people.
