I don’t know how to hold this anymore. The more I tried as much as I can to hold this feeling, but its suffocating me to death. I wanna be with you this badly, but why don’t you ever tried to look into my heart, at least once. What should I do so that I can win your heart? (June 18^th, 2017)

 

== CHAPTER 16 ==

            As for today, Ji Hyeon takes day off from her work too due too every work that she should done was finished earlier. So President Kim gives her some extra time to take day off. Usually, she only stayed at her home when she takes day off. But today, she is even dress up prettily with purple crop top t-shirt and black mini skirt. She is going to go out as her planned before. But suddenly she heard that her bell is ringing.

            “A guest?”

            She checked a mini monitor on a wall before open the door.

            “Who is it?”

            “You have delivery package…”

            Ji Hyeon was wondering why she got delivery package, because she can’t recall that she bought something these past few days. Or when her parents send something from U.S. they always let her know.

            “I don’t order anything though…”

            She went to check the package because she thought that the delivery man got wrong address. She opens the door gate. She was really shocked seeing so much people stands right in front of the gate. (Writer note: imagine Ji Hyeon’s house is the same with Heo Joon Jae’s house on Legend of the Blue Sea drama).

            “You got a package,”

            A familiar voice that Ji Hyeon really known. Ji Hyeon was about to close the gate, but someone hold her gate.

            “You can’t treat your guest poorly like this,” said Won Ho.

            Yes, Monsta X comes to Ji Hyeon’s home. They got in into Ji Hyeon’s yard without Ji Hyeon permission.

            “What are you guys doing?” asked Ji Hyeon.

            “We came to visit, of course,” answer Min Hyuk.

            “You wouldn’t let us in, would you?” asked Hyung Won.

            “Just go back to your dorm,” said Ji Hyeon.

            They go inside Ji Hyeon’s home.

            “Guys…” said Ji Hyeon.

            “Sorry for coming without a notice,” said Ki Hyun.

            “Why did you dressed so prettily if you are going to stay at your home?” asked I.M.

            “I am about to go out though,” answer Ji Hyeon.

            “Oh, we came at the right time then,” said I.M.

            They ‘invades’ Ji Hyeon house.

 

Around 5 minutes ago…

            Monsta X comes to Myeongdong as they got the information about Ji Hyeon’s home location from a trustworthy source.

            “Is it right?” asked Joo Heon.

            “This is exactly the address that he sent to me,” answer Won Ho.

            “Her house really big and nice, she must be rich,” said Hyung Won.

            “What should we do?” asked Ki Hyun.

            “She probably won’t open the door if she knows it’s us,” said I.M.

            “I have an idea,” said Min Hyuk.

            Min Hyuk pressed the bell.

            “Who is it?” asked Ji Hyeon from inside the house.

            “You have delivery package…” said Min Hyuk.

            Min Hyuk changes his voice so that Ji Hyeon didn’t recognize his voice.

 

            “Your house is really nice,” said Won Ho.

            “Do you live alone here?” asked Min Hyuk.

            “It’s not your business,” answer Ji Hyeon.

            “We can live here if you want,” said Min Hyuk.

            “Stop dreaming!” said Ji Hyeon.

            Monsta X really ‘invades’ Ji Hyeon’s house.

            “How do you guys find out about my house?” asked Ji Hyeon.

            “We have trustworthy source,” answer Won Ho.

            “Who?” asked Ji Hyeon.

            “A person who knows you really well,” answer I.M.

            “Je Joon?” asked Ji Hyeon.

            “Who else then,” answer Won Ho.

            Kang Je Joon, better you dig some land to prepare for your grave!!!

            “Why did you guys come to my home? Don’t you have schedules?” asked Ji Hyeon.

            “We don’t have any schedule so that we can come here,” answer Hyung Won.

            “Let’s invite Han Gi Noona too here,” said Joo Heon.

            “That’s right,” said Shownu.

            “Don’t forget to ask Jin Yi too,” said Hyung Won.

            “Am I the one who should invite them?” asked Ji Hyeon.

            “Who else?” asked I.M.

            Won Ho just comes out from a door.

            “You even have a swimming pool?” asked Won Ho.

            “Are you a chaebol?” asked Shownu.

            “Just do whatever you want, I am going to ask Han Gi and Jin Yi to come over,” said Ji Hyeon.

            Ji Hyeon left Monsta X in the living room. But Ki Hyun followed her to the private library.

            “Are you angry?” asked Ki Hyun.

            “Aniyo [No],” answer Ji Hyeon. “But you guys at least should give me some notice to come here,”

            “They said that they’re going to give you a surprise,” said Ki Hyun.

            “Then, why you didn’t send me a notice that you guys would come over?” asked Ji Hyeon.

            “I want to give a surprise too,” answer Ki Hyun.

            “I am gonna asked Han Gi and Jin Yi to come,” said Ji Hyeon.

            Ji Hyeon was about to take her phone. But suddenly Ki Hyun grabbed her hand.

            “Let me give you one more surprise,” said Ki Hyun.

            “What is it?” asked Ji Hyeon.

            Ki Hyun only put his lips on Ji Hyeon’s lips to answer Ji Hyeon’s question. But Ji Hyeon pushed him.

            “Why?” asked Ki Hyun.

            “What if someone sees?” asked Ji Hyeon back.

            “You should repay me later, then…” said Ki Hyun.

            Ji Hyeon is right. There’s someone who saw that. There’s someone who saw the moment when Ki Hyun kissed Ji Hyeon.

            “Min Hyuk-a, where is Ki Hyun?” asked Won Ho.

            “Oh?... He is talking to Ji Hyeon there,” answer Min Hyuk.

            Min Hyuk really jealous, angry and broken heart at the same time. But he can’t do anything about that. He can only hold everything deep in his heart.

            “What if we eat something?” asked Joo Heon.

            “Yeah, we can buy something to eat,” said Won Ho.

            “I’ll go to buy something then,” said Shownu. “Who wants to go with me?”

            “I am going with you,” said Hyung Won.

            “Me too,” said Won Ho.

            Shownu, Hyung Won and Won Ho go for grocery shopping near Ji Hyeon’s place.

            “Where are Shownu Hyung, Won Ho Hyung and Hyung Won?” asked Ki Hyun.

            “They went for grocery shopping,” answer I.M.

            “Grocery shopping? For what?” asked Ji Hyeon.

            “So that we can eat together,” answer Joo Heon.

            “You guys, seriously…” said Ji Hyeon.

            “When Han Gi Noona and Jin Yi Noona arrived?” asked Joo Heon.

            “They are on their way,” answer Ji Hyeon.

            Min Hyuk doesn’t say anything. He only looked at Ji Hyeon. He looked at Ji Hyeon’s lip. He is really broken heart when he knows that his best friend kissed that lip. Although he once kissed Ji Hyeon too, but he can’t bear when another man kissed Ji Hyeon’s lip right before his eyes.

            “I think I would wait at the balcony,” said Min Hyuk.

            Min Hyuk went outside and stayed at the balcony. He really wants to be alone right now because he don’t know what to do or which act that he should show to everyone.

            “Can I prepare some utitlies for us to cook?” asked Ki Hyun.

            “Sure,” answer Ji Hyeon.

            “Can you cook too?” asked Joo Heon to Ji Hyeon.

            “Of course,” answer Ji Hyeon.

            “What a perfect wife material,” said I.M.

            Ki Hyun and Joo Heon looked at I.M with sharp gaze.

            “But, what’s wrong with Min Hyuk?” asked Ji Hyeon.

            “Why?” asked I.M back.

            “He seemed down,” answer Ji Hyeon.

            “I am not sure too since he never told us,” said Joo Heon.

            Shownu, Won Ho and Hyung Won back from the grocery shopping. They come with Han Gi and Jin Yi. They met on the way to Ji Hyeon’s home.

            “Han Gi Noona…” said Joo Heon as he saw Han Gi.

            “You guys are here too,” said Han Gi.

            “We are Ji Hyeon Noona’s precious guest,” said I.M.

            “Where should I put this?” asked Won Ho.

            “You guys can put everything at the kitchen,” answer Ji Hyeon.

            Hyung Won and Won Ho put everything at the kitchen.

            “Woah~ Hyungwonho feels,” said Jin Yi.

            “Suddenly, I regret to ask to you to come too,” said Hyung Won.

            “You asked me to come?” asked Jin Yi.

            “Oh, Hyung Won who asked me to invite you,” answer Ji Hyeon.

            “Do you miss me that badly?” asked Jin Yi.

            Jin Yi really loves to tease Hyung Won.

            “If you are gonna be like this, I guess I shouldn’t have asked Ji Hyeon Noona to invite you too,” said Hyung Won.

            “Oh, seems like Hyung Won take interest on you, Jin Yi-ya,” said Ki Hyun.

            “No way,” said Hyung Won.

            “Yeah, there’s no way he would like me since there’s only Won Ho in his heart,” said Jin Yi.

            “But I am always at Ji Hyeon’s heart though,” said Won Ho.

            “Then, Ji Hyeon Noona dan Ki Hyun Hyung would take care of cooking,” said Joo Heon. “So, what should we do?”

            “Let’s play game,” answer I.M.

            “Game?” asked everyone.

            “I saw a game booth up there,” answer I.M while pointing at the 2^nd floor.

            “You even have a game booth?” asked Won Ho.

I.M, Hyung Won, Jin Yi and Won Ho go to the game booth. Joo Heon, Han Gi and Shownu go to the swimming pool. Meanwhile, Ki Hyun and Ji Hyeon go to the kitchen.

“Wait, I am gonna take a napkin,” said Ji Hyeon. “You can prepare some ingredient first,”

Ji Hyeon left the kitchen. She was about to go to the laundry room. But Min Hyuk who just comes down from the balcony saw her and followed her to the laundry room.

            “Noona…”

            “Wae [Why]?”

            “Are you going to be like this?”

            “What do you mean?”

            “Can’t you see me as a man too?”

            “Why did you---,”

            Ji Hyeon takes two napkins and was about to left the laundry room. But suddenly Min Hyuk hugged her from behind.

            “Min Hyuk-a, let go of me,”

            “Why? Is it because there’s might be someone who saw us?”

            “Why did you suddenly become like this?”

            “I can be like this only because of you,”

            Min Hyuk hugged her really tight.

            “What are you doing?” asked Ji Hyeon.

            Min Hyuk let her go, but he grabbed her hand and pulls her into his arm.

            “Why did you let another man touched the lips of yours?”

            Ji Hyeon really startled. So, Min Hyuk saw it, the moments when Ki Hyun kissed her.

            “Do you like him?”

            “Let go of me,”

            “Answer me!”

            “Min Hyuk-a…”

            Min Hyuk put his lips on Ji Hyeon’s lip. He kissed her and holds her really tight as if he would never let her go again. Ji Hyeon tried to push him although it impossible.

            “Noona, saranghae [I love you],” said Min Hyuk after the kiss.

            Min Hyuk let her go. Ji Hyeon didn’t give him any answer but only left him at the laundry room.

            “Why did it take so long?” asked Ki Hyun as he saw Ji Hyeon back.

            “Sorry, I need to find another napkin since I just laundry them yesterday,” answer Ji Hyeon.

            “Did something happen?” asked Ki Hyun.

            “No, nothing,” answer Ji Hyeon.

            Meanwhile, Min Hyuk saw Ji Hyeon and Ki Hyun together at the kitchen. His heart really can’t take it anymore. But he tried not to show it in front of anyone. Then he go up to I.M’s place.

            “Min Hyuk-a, where you’ve been?” asked Hyung Won.

            “I am from the balcony,” answer Min Hyuk.

            “Let’s play some game,” said I.M.

            “You guys go play, I am gonna help Ji Hyeon Eonni,” said Jin Yi.

            Jin Yi goes down from the 2^nd floor. Hyung Won and Won Ho follows her. But before they go to the kitchen, they saw Ji Hyeon and Ki Hyun. Such a lovey-dovey moments right before their eyes.

            “Look, they really looked at newlywed couple,” said Jin Yi.

            “Andwae [No],” said Won Ho.

            “They should’ve married already,” said Hyung Won.

            “Yeah, what a perfect match,” said Jin Yi.

            “Enough, let’s help them,” said Won Ho.

            Won Ho comes to disturb Ji Hyeon and Ki Hyun.

            “What are you doing?” asked Won Ho.

            “Cooking,” answer Ji Hyeon and Ki Hyun together.

            “Woah, you guys even in sync now,” said Hyung Won.

            “Why don’t you guys just dating already?” asked Jin Yi.

            Ji Hyeon and Ki Hyun only looked at each other.

             “Should we?” asked Ki Hyun.

            “Andwae [No],” answer Won Ho.

            “Who said that they’re gonna dating?” asked I.M who just went down too after playing some games.

            “There’s no way they can date,” said Min Hyuk.

            “Why not?” asked Jin Yi.

            “Because I’ll disturb them,” answer Min Hyuk.

            "Me too," said Won Ho. "I'll always disturb them,"

            Meanwhile, Han Gi, Joo Heon and Shownu also come to the kitchen after smelling such a good smell.

            “Is there anything that we can help?” asked Han Gi.

            “Han Gi-ya, can you pick some lettuce?” asked Ji Hyeon back.

            “Okay,” answer Han Gi.

            Han Gi goes to the garden at the back yard of Ji Hyeon’s house. Joo Heon followed her.

            “Noona, is there something that I can help?” asked Joo Heon.

            “Oh, Joo Heon-a… just pick some lettuce,” answer Han Gi.

            But suddenly Joo Heon approaches her.

            “Noona, johahae [I like you],” said Joo Heon.

            Han Gi was really taken aback by Joo Heon’s sudden confession. But she is more startled when Joo Heon’s lips touched her lips softly. Joo Heon kissed every inch of Han Gi’s lips as if he is going to show that he likes the girl so much.

            “You don’t need to give me answer now,” said Joo Heon.

            “Joo Heon-a… I---,”

            Joo Heon cut off Han Gi’s word with his lips that touched Han Gi’s lips again. He kissed Han Gi warmly until unconsciously, Han Gi respons to his kiss. They kissed with knowing nothing that there’s someone who saw everything. After he saw the moments that hurt right in his heart, he goes back to the kitchen with sad face.
