Hoya didn’t think it was important to tell Sunggyu about his encounter with Woohyun. After all, it was a onetime thing. But how he was proved wrong.

The next time Hoya saw Woohyun was when he heard someone sobbing at the theatre. He was with Minho and Jackson this time as Sunggyu had some other tasks. The movie was a fun one so, he didn’t know what made the other cry. So, after the movie was over, Hoya said the duo he needed to attend some other task and went to the sobbing mess.

Woohyun was startled when someone approached him.

Not knowing what to do, Hoya patted the miserable boy earning more sobs.

After he calmed down a bit, they went to a nearby restaurant to fill their tummy.

“You know, I so much regret hurting Sunggyu.” Woohyun said after placing the order.

“You should.” Hoya said as a matter of fact.

Instead of feeling offended, Woohyun continued, “What goes around, comes around. I rejected the pure love he gave me and now see the mess I am in.”

Woohyun chuckled at his own misery.

Hoya didn’t know what the other was going through, so he didn’t have words to comfort him.

Woohyun needed to let out all his feelings so he continued, “Kibum was the person I fell in love with. But now I know that he only came to me for money. Funny right, Sunggyu’s true love was me but I only got close to him for his photography skill and now I love this person so much but he never loved me the way I did. I was so blind in love that I didn’t know he was just using me. When I found out, I am all empty. I spent all my savings, sold all my accessories, cars, merchandise to fulfil all his demand. But with everything gone, he too left me.”

Hoya felt bad for the other. Though he knew what the other had done to Sunggyu, he still felt Woohyun didn’t deserve all this.

Hoya could not figure out how to tell about Woohyun to Sunggyu but this needs to be told. He was glancing at the elder every now and then so, after closing the store, Sunggyu asked, “Hoya, is there something you want to tell?”

“H…how did you know?”
“By the way your face was screaming I need to tell this but don’t know how? Its written all over your face!” Sunggyu simply stated.

Hoya was delighted to know that the elder was paying attention to him.

“Hyung, would you be able to forgive the one who hurt you before?”

“Who am I to forgive or not. I, myself is regretting hurting my brother so, how can I hold grudges upon others?”

“Then can you forgive Woohyun?” Hoya asked boldly.

“WHAT?! WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT HIM?!” Sunggyu was flaring with anger at the mention of the person.

“He is the reason I am like this now. He is the reason I have to be away from my Myungsoo. He is the cause for all the mess in my life.” Sunggyu told in one breathe.

Hoya knew the next sentence he was going to say would surely hurt the elder but he wanted Sunggyu to find peace.

When we have unsettled issues with people, our mind cannot be at peace. Hoya just wanted his hyung to find happiness, one way or another. He knew that making up with Woohyun will not make his wound heal but at least it could work as an ointment.

So, he mustered up his courage and asked, “Do you think he is the only one responsible for the mistake?”

Sunggyu opened his mouth to retort but closed down immediately because he knew deep inside that he is equally responsible for whatever happened as much as Woohyun. So, he could not put the full blame on the other.

By much coercion, now Sunggyu, Hoya and Woohyun were sitting on the same table at a café. Sunggyu was sending daggers through his small eyes but Woohyun had his head down the entire time so, was unaware about the elder’s flare.

“I am sorry Sunggyu.” Woohyun managed to say this after some time of pin drop silence.

“Does that matter now?!” Sunggyu was unable to control his spite. Hoya hold his hand and rubbed soothing circles in the back of his palm which somehow helped the angry bird to cool down a bit.

“It may not matter to you but I just need to let it out before I lose my mind. After what happened to me, I have been thinking about you a lot.”

Sunggyu glared at the sentence. Hoya too was caught a little off-guard.

Seeing the fire in the eyes, Woohyun corrected, “Not in that way, I just feel sorry for you. The pain I have made you go through, I cannot forgive myself.”

Somehow the hate that Sunggyu had, soften a little because he could see his own reflection in Woohyun’s eyes. As Sunggyu, he is trapped in a feeling of guilt. The time that passed could not be brought back, neither can we undo the things done.

Seeing the softness in Sunggyu’s eyes, Woohyun explained how he met Kibum aka Key in his university and felt immediately in love with him but only knew later that he was just a money grabber.

As much as Sunggyu felt bad for the younger but he was not ready to bring him back in his life and forgive him whole heatedly.

But Woohyun was contented that he could let Sunggyu know how repentant he is and that was enough to bring some peace.

Hoya was happy that with time, Sunggyu was able to see Woohyun with positive light and they three were bonding as good friends.

His only wish now was Sunggyu to confront Myungsoo.

Carefully, one day Hoya urged Sunggyu to talk to his little brother. This time the reaction was different.

Sunggyu thought carefully and asked, “I don’t want to tell my parents all that happened. They trust me so much, I am afraid I would hurt them as well. Is there any other way to find out about Myungie?”

Hoya wanted to pinch the elder so hard but given the seriousness of the situation, he quickly replied, “I have a hyung, Dongwoo hyung, who travels to Japan frequently and please believe me hyung, he had met Myungsoo.”

Sunggyu was stunned by the new piece of information. But he was more curious so, Hoya retold all the details that Dongwoo had supplied.

Hoya could see that the elder was beaming happy and cursed himself for not telling this earlier.

“I guess when Myungsoo comes back after his graduation, I will tell him the truth.” Sunggyu was beaming so brightly. Seeing the new found confidence in himself, both of them were glad.

Myungsoo could not believe how the four years had already passed and he is being ready for graduation.

Both Sungyeol and Myunsoo were too excited that they could finally pass the university.

Words would be unable to express how grateful Myungsoo was for Sungyeol. He could not imagine what would he been doing if he did not have such understanding roommate and also boyfriend. Though he felt sorry for Sunggyu but he thought he would be okay since he is with his parents and his friends. Little did he know that the elder had shut out everyone from his life.

By the talks of their parents, Sunggyu came to know that they would be going to Japan to attend Myungsoo’s graduation. He kindly declined the offer to tag along since he wanted to wait for him in Korea itself.

Myungsoo was happy to see his parents in his very important day but at the same time he could not hide the disappointment he felt when he didn’t see his hyung coming along. Myungsoo felt like he was still an outcast for his hyung. That’s the only reason for him to not attend such important ceremony. But Sungyeol hugged him and said that maybe he needed time to confront the younger and things would turn out well.

Sungyeol’s grandma too made it to the ceremony. They took many pictures to keep this beautiful day captured in the memory.

And growing up is literally so very difficult. And maintaining good relationship with everyone is tough. We can’t please all but I don’t know why I feel so unsettled when I have unsettling with others. Sorry for my rant but one of my colleague is getting on my nerves and I want to run away from her but don’t know how…huhu!

She really makes my nerves go in havoc but I can’t be straight-forward with her ><
