“Hyung…hyung…..”, Hoya was shouting his name non-stop but Sunggyu turned deaf ear.

After he had collected his thoughts, Sunggyu turned around making Hoya bump into him.

“I am sorry Hoya. But I need to be alone. Let’s meet tomorrow.” Hoya wanted to know who the person was and why was he so mad at the person but seeing the seriousness in his eyes, Hoya could not argue.

On the way back home, many thoughts invaded Hoya, “Does Gyu have some rivalry with that person? Is he the person who snatched away his girlfriend? Is he his competitor in University?”

“Argh…” Hoya screamed at the top of his lungs. “Why does he have to hide things from me? Why does he not trust me? Do I make that uncomfortable to him?”

He was feeling so vexed, so anxious, so out of control, so he took his phone and dialed some number.

“Hyung, why do I not have luck in love life?”

The person on the other end was about to greet him happily but sensing the seriousness, he said, “You know everything has right time to occur in life. You will surely be lucky to get your partner sooner or later and when you will, I am sure you are going to hit jackpot! Trust me Hoya, you are an amazing person and you are going to meet your other half soon.”

“You are always so positive hyung so, I want to talk to you.” Hoya took a deep breathe. “Hyung…”

The other person knew that Hoya was in dismay. “Hoya, have you found your love?”

“I am not sure hyung. I really really like this person but I am 100 percent sure the other does not return my feeling. But I am so attached to him already that I cannot just give up.”

“Then pursue. Go after him. The Hoya I know is not someone who gives up easily. Who knows the person may return your feeling seeing your sincerity.”

“You didn’t though…..” Hoya just whispered but the person was listening closely so was able to catch up.

“Hoya…not that again. I am sorry that I didn’t feel the same way you felt for me. You know I am a free-spirited person and I don’t want to stay at one place. I may not have loved you as a lover but I always am here for you as a hyung, as a friend. And nothing is going to change that, I am forever going to stand by your side.” The other person felt sorry.

“I know hyung. I have been over you anyway. Now that I have found another person, I am not going to miss this chance. I cannot fail for the second time as well, I must succeed. Thank You so much hyung, for always being there for me.” Hoya really felt his emotions sorted after talking to the person.

“Any time Howonie~ Hope you get success this time! By the way, who is that lucky person?!”

“I will tell you later when things work out hyung. For now bye.” Hoya needed time to think what would be his next step.

Hoya knew he would have to face the heart break if he confesses now but he should make a move to show his feeling.

When he met Sunggyu for the first time after that day, he acted as if nothing happened. He knew that Sunggyu was not ready to share about his feelings and he didn’t want to push as well. Instead he tried to talk more to him about stuffs, just here and there.

Sunggyu was fond of singing while Hoya was a dance machine. They talked about how great it would be if Hoya could dance to the song Sunggyu sang and many other things.

Sunggyu was glad that Hoya didn’t inquire about who the person was. But the way Hoya is being too friendly, too nice, too understanding made him feel confused.

He is sure about his feelings, he liked Hoya but why was Hoya acting this way, is he interested in him as well. But as far as he knew, the younger just liked him as a senior at work, nothing more.

While his one heart was yearning for that attention from the younger, the other heart was afraid if he ever returned his feeling, what would he do, he would not be able to reciprocate the feeling. He would never be able to give him True Love since his heart would always be worrying about Myungsoo, his brother.

Sunggyu’s dilemma was eating him, the external battle could be defeated somehow but the internal battle has no hope. This weakens the person so much.  

One weekend, Hoya proposed Sunggyu to go the movie. “The Greatest Showman” was the movie he was anticipating a lot, one, because it’s a musical type of movie, second, he had heard many good reviews about it, third, he wanted to spend some quality time with Sunggyu. 

Sunggyu surprisingly accepted the offer. One, because he too liked musical types and second, he had a dream of Myungsoo, where he saw Myungsoo having total dark aura, he was alone, he was missing his home. So, he needed to keep his mind off to something, else he knew he would go crazy worrying.

The movie was really amazing, both enjoyed the show. Except both of them turning red time to time when they bumped their hands while taking popcorn which was in middle, things went well.

After movie, they went to grab some lunch. They were discussing how well the direction was done, the strong story line, each actor’s role and so on.

“Hyung, I will go grab lemonade. Do you want something?” Hoya wanted a drink.

“I will have chocolate milkshake then.” Hoya found it cute but didn’t say anything and just went to the counter.

When Hoya returned with their drinks, he found Sunggyu arguing with someone.

“How dare you come in front of me. I don’t want to see your face.”

“Is that so? Before you could not pass a single moment without seeing this cute face.” The intruder sounded smug.

“I am regretting every moment of it! I hate even thinking about it.” Sunggyu’s face was full of remorse.

“So, let’s make good memories from now on. Let’s be friends Gyu.”

Hoya was annoyed hearing the nickname but he just decided to listen to the conversation because Sunggyu is never going to tell him the whole ordeal.

If eyes could kill, the person in front would have been dead by now. Sunggyu’s eye held so much anger, even Hoya had a shudder seeing from afar.

“Will you please leave me alone! I don’t want to make another mistake and regret. Go away!” Sunggyu yelled.

“How can you be so mean Gyu. You loved me once. Ah…now that you have got a new boyfriend, you have completely gotten over me!”

LOVE! The word pierced Hoya’s ear and heart, so that’s the reason, Sunggyu didn’t look at Hoya the same way he looked at him. Because he still has lingering feelings over his ex!

Both Sunggyu and the other person were so engrossed in their conversation that they had not noticed Hoya at all.

After paying for the meal, he quickly dashed out of the restaurant not wanting to hear anything more.

“This is my last warning. Next time I see you, I am not going to hold my fist and I won’t feel sorry to punch you right in your face.” With this Sunggyu rushed towards the counter.

He thought of paying for the meal and message Hoya that he had to sprint somewhere. But when the person at the counter said that the bill was already paid, he panicked. This only meant that Hoya had listened he whole conversation they had. Hoya was the last person whom he wanted to show his anger or let him know about his dark past. 

Sunggyu kept on calling Hoya but the recipient won’t answer the call. Sunggyu didn’t want to lose Hoya at any cost, he ran desperately to wherever his feet leads to. He needed to be assured that the younger is alright, he didn’t start to hate him, he is not angry with him. He ran here and there but no sight of Hoya, so he went to the last place he thought he could find the dancer or at least his information, i.e the café near his house.

 A/N : Thank You so much for all the wonderful people who patiently waited for the update. Life has been super busy and sometimes I don’t even have time to go eat properly…huhu.

As soon as I reach home after office, I feel like sleeping, today was a long day as well, my each body part is aching :’(

Enough about me, sorry for the personal rant.
