I could tell that Bona was nervous.

“Eunseo…”

Bona’s breathing pattern was getting erratic by the second.

“Eunseo… I told you to be gentle.”

“I know…” I whispered to Bona.

“The first few seconds might be a bit scary but I promise you, this will make you feel so good all the way through.”

“Hold me?” Bona asked and I firmly held her hand.

“You ready?”

Bona looked a bit relaxed now.

“You can scream all you want. Just let it all out.”

“Okay. I trust you, Eunseo.” Bona smiled.

Green light!

“Aaaaaaah!!!”

“Yah…”

I was trying so hard to suppress a laugh.

“You don’t have to hold back you know, Eunseo. Laugh all you want!”

Bona was now pouting much like a little kid.

“Hahahaha!!! I’m sorry, Bona. It’s just that I told you that you could scream all you want but I never thought that you would be screaming all throughout the ride. Your screaming was just epic. And look at this souvenir photo they took of us, you look just like that piece of art called.. uh.. uh… ”

“The Scream?... Honestly! I told you to be gentle, Eunseo. I can’t believe you made me ride that terrifying roller coaster.”

Bona lightly gave me a playful punch on my shoulder and quickly snatched the souvenir photo from my hand.

“Hey, you’re right. I really do look like that piece of art…”

Bona turned to look at me and we just ended up laughing for another good minute.

“Haha… I was being gentle. Just you wait until we try one of those thrill ri-”

Bona quickly placed a finger over my mouth, stopping me from further talking.

“I believe it’s my turn now to decide on which rides we take and trust me. I’m far gentler than you.” Bona said with a smirk on her face.

This doesn’t sound so good but seeing how Bona reacted with the roller coaster, she won’t even dare go near those thrill rides but then again there must be something behind her smirk. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.

“But before we go for those rides, let’s take a short break.”

Bona grabbed my hand and we started walking towards the different stalls to grab some snacks. The break took longer than expected. After we had our snacks, Bona didn’t look too well.

“Bona, are you sure that you’ll be fine? We can just call it a day and maybe do something else tomorrow.”

“No, I’ll be fine. In fact, I’m ready to go! I can’t wait to take you on those rides I have in mind. And I really don’t want to end this day just yet, not until… anyway, let’s go!”

I was worried. Not because of the rides that Bona may dare take but because she was now clearly forcing herself. She didn’t want to ruin the day for us but…
