The bus ride going back to Bona’s apartment got a little dreary at first. Bona had fallen asleep next to me. Cheng Xiao was sitting on the seat right in front of us with her head tilted against the window. She even had her headphones on. Who knew Cheng Xiao had a thing for music? I guess there was just something about sitting on the window seat that makes one sink deeply into one’s thoughts. As for me, I was stuck in the aisle seat but I didn’t mind.

Halfway to Bona’s apartment, I was starting to feel kind of… tired? No… It’s more like I feel sleepy. I was struggling to stay awake. What is going on with me? I didn’t even get to ride those thrill rides. Just when did I-…

chu~

…

That totally caught me off guard. Did Bona just plant a kiss on my cheek? I quickly turned to look at Bona but she was now facing towards the window. I looked closely and saw a smiling Bona on the window’s reflection. She gave me a wink before she turned to face me.

“Are you still feeling a bit sleepy, Eunseo?”

“Just a bit… maybe.”

Bona scooted closer and pulled me closer so she could whisper something to my ear.

“Would you like some more then, Eunseo? There’s more where that came from.”

If I didn’t know any better, I’d say that Bona was just messing with me or was she being serious this time? I was about to give her a reply when I suddenly felt one of Bona’s hands move on my thigh, slowly tracing small circles with her fingers without breaking eye contact with me. Omo, omo, omo! What kind of development is this?

“Bona…”

“Shhh…”

Bona hushed and I immediately complied. I looked around the bus. Only then did I realize that the only passengers left were Bona, Cheng Xiao and me. Cheng Xiao still had her headphones on and was just staring outside the window.

“Eunseo…”

Bona’s face was inching closer to mine and by reflex I found myself slightly tilting my head to one side. I closed my eyes as I felt our lips made contact.

“You like that, Eunseo?”

“Yeah...”

…

“Then why did you break your promise?”

…

I opened my eyes, only to find out that it wasn’t Bona that had kissed me but rather it was Cheng Xiao. This made me look at the seat in front of us and saw that Bona was now sitting at where Cheng Xiao was supposed to be. Bona then leaned onto someone with shoulder length blonde hair.

…

“Isn’t this how things are supposed to be, Eunseo?”

…

Thud!

…

“Eunseo! Are you okay?”

Bona was now helping me get up as I seem to have fallen off from my seat. Cheng Xiao removed her headphones and offered her hand to me. The three of us were still inside the bus.

“Bona?.. What happened?” I asked.

“You were sleeping then you fell off your seat when the bus made a sudden stop.”

“Didn’t you switch places with Cheng Xiao? And there was some blonde woman sitting right beside you.”

“What are you talking about, Eunseo? Seongso was sitting in front of us this whole time.”

“Jiyeonie, I think Eunseo might have hit her head real hard when she fell.”

Wait… I fell asleep? I was sleeping? Was it all just a dream? It all felt so real to me though.

The three of us had now arrived at the bus stop near Bona and Cheng Xiao’s apartment. Bona held my hand as we got off the bus. I could tell that she was worried about me as I was still feeling a bit dazed. I had to force a smile on my face.

“Are you still feeling a bit sleepy, Eunseo?”
