As I walked towards the JYP building, I feel confident and I don’t know why I have this feeling. I enter the building and there are many girls who are waiting for the announcement. I sat next to the trainee I’ve met yesterday and I forgot to tell Taeyeon eonni that she has a fan.

“Hi! How are you? Are you ready for the announcement? Oh, by the way, I came here just to meet you! So, what is Taeyeon’s reaction?” I didn’t answer her and instead, I just gave her a smile. “Are you okay?”

“Yeah, I’m okay. A little bit nervous about the announcement,” I lied and she nodded.

“Oh, I see, I feel you. That’s how I’m feeling when I first enter JYP, I’m not just nervous but higher than that,” she said and we both chuckled. “But anyways, don’t worry, you’ll be picked because you have a great performance yesterday!”

“I hope so, thanks,” I said and there was silence.

We waited for many minutes until a staff enters the building. The hall was filled with silence as the staff walks inside the hall. I feel that my heart beats faster than ever and I could hear other’s heart beats also.

“Good morning ladies,” she greeted as she reached the stage.

“Good morning Ma’am,” we greeted her back and she smiled at us. She grabs a microphone and walks towards the center of the hall.

“Today, we will announce who entered JYP Entertainment successfully. We only picked 25 girls but you can audition here again if you fail. You will never learn without making it wrong, right girls? So yeah, let’s announce who will enter JYP entertainment!” There was music and I can feel that I will be called. “Congratulations, Park Hyun Mi!” I can’t say a word but as I walk towards the stage, I feel that I’m an idol right now.

“Congratulations! After those failures in those two entertainments, you have achieved great here!” She said and she continues announcing winners.

After the announcements, the staff told us that we must meet JYP pd-nim in his office to tell us something.

“So, we’ll go to the CEO’s office because he wants to tell you something,” she said and we followed her.

“Hi! I’m Sana, sorry if I don’t know much about speaking Korean because I’m from Japan,” she said and bowed towards me.

“It’s okay, I understand that,” I said and we both talked about what we are feeling a while ago.

“I’m so nervous and I can’t scream when the staff announced my name! I can’t believe that I actually made it!”  She said as we arrived in front of the CEO’s office.

“Me too, I thought that I would fail again after failing the two greatest entertainment in Korea,” I lied and the staff knocked three times on the door.

“Please be quiet girls,” she said and we shut our mouths. She opened the door and we enter the CEO’s office.

We were so quiet and we stood in front of the CEO. He looked at us and showed us a great smile. I wonder what he’s thinking.

“Congratulations girls! All of you are qualified to join the JYP Sixteen except for eleven girls who will be eliminated. And those who are eliminated won’t have a chance to debut so you must do your best during the training period. During JYP Sixteen, I will only choose nine girls to debut and they will be the new JYP’s girl group called Twice. So, good luck and do your best. By the way, Ms. Park Hyun Mi, I would like to talk to you in a minute,” he said and the other girls exited including Sana. They were talking about JYP Sixteen and I just stood in front of JYP.

“There will be a big announcement waiting for you in the future,”  the staff said and I smiled at her. Park Jin Young smiled at me also.

“Yeah, she’s right, we’re talking about this last night and I want you to know that among those girls who are training here in JYP, you will be the first one to debut,” he said and I was shocked. I couldn’t help but be happy. I just really want to scream in joy and after that, JYP told me that I can exit now.

I let out a heavy breath and I jumped through the hallway until I reach the stairs. I was dancing and was doing the moonwalk when a guy saw me and I immediately stopped. He chuckled and I let my head down so that he can’t see my red face. I’m totally embarrassed.

I look at him and I can tell that he’s familiar. I walked down through the stairs while he’s walking upwards. Our gazes met and I looked away immediately because he witnessed my craziness in the hallway.

“Hey wait,” he called me and I stopped walking. I closed my eyes and made a fist. What’s wrong with him? “You dropped your hanky,” he said and gave me my handkerchief. I looked at my handkerchief and I realized that this is not mine.

“This is not mine,” I said and he raised his eyebrow. He smiled and pats my head. Tsk.

“Okay, then just keep it. It’s a beautiful handkerchief and it should not be wasted. By the way, I’m Kim Yu Gyeom, nice to meet you,” he said and walks away. Okay, Kim Yu Gyeom. I don’t remember names but I can’t forget that name. Kim Yu Gyeom.

I walked outside the building and I saw Suho oppa’s car again. I walked towards it and opened the door of the passenger seat. I sat beside Suho oppa and gave him a big smile.

“So I guess you entered JYP Entertainment, congratulations. What do you want? My treat,” he said and I’m wondering if he would buy all I want.

“I want a pizza! A converse low cut shoes and a lasagna! I want a violet stuff toy! Would you give me those things?” I asked and he was silent for a moment.

“No, I won’t give you shoes, you have too many shoes! You need to buy heels, a girl should know how to wear those when she debuts in a girl group,” I pouted but he ignores me.

“Oppa, JYP told me that I’ll be the first girl to debut when a girl group would be made someday that could be the next Miss A, so you should buy me a shoes! Please!” I said and he heave out a sigh and he just nodded. “Thank you! Let’s get it on!” I said and we both laughed.

After buying all the things I want, we stopped at home to celebrate my hard work. Eomma was standing outside the house and I ran towards her and hugged her.

“Baby! Congratulations!” She said and kissed my cheek. “Your hard works have been paid off. Joon Myeon ah, come here inside. It’s cold,” she said and hugged Suho oppa. “I really missed you babies,” we chuckled and we enter the room.

“Hyun Mi eonni!” Park Joo A, my little sister hugged me when she saw me. “I miss you, you’ve been busy practicing and of course, you’re busy in school,” she said and I pinched her cheeks.

“I’m sorry but I’ll try my best to be here often,” I said and I walked towards Appa. I hugged him and he kissed my forehead.

“Appa, I miss you too,” he chuckled and pats my head. I sat beside him and told him about the announcements a while ago. I also told him that Suho oppa treated me.

“Suho must be rich now,” he joked and we laughed. “Where’s your other siblings? They should be here, it’s been a while since we are complete,” he said and I feel sorry for him.

“Don’t worry Appa, I’ll call them,” Suho oppa said and he started pressing on his phone. “Baekhyun! Tell them to go in the house, right now… Okay, be quick,” he said and he hanged up.

“Appa, there was this guy I’ve met in JYP building, he gave me this handkerchief,” I said as I showed him the handkerchief. “He said that I must keep it because it’s beautiful. He thought that this is mine so he gave this to me, and he told me his name, he is Kim Yu Gyeom,” I said and he just nods. I shouldn’t have said it.

“You know what? That guy is a total jerk,” Suho oppa said and Appa laughed. What’s wrong with giving handkerchief?

“This handkerchief is from him. I bet he likes you,” Appa said and I feel a little bit flustered. I don’t want to believe him but a part of me does.

“How did you know?” I asked him and he showed me another handkerchief. “What’s with that other handkerchief?”

“When I saw your Mom, I could really say she’s beautiful so I pretended that I saw her handkerchief dropped. I gave her this handkerchief and she told me she didn’t brought one so instead, I told her to keep it and we parted ways. But how we met again is another story,” I saw Eomma smiled and Suho oppa smiled also.

“I heard that a thousand times,” he said and the doorbell rang. I walk towards the door and I saw my siblings. We’re now complete. I miss this!

“Baekhyun oppa!” JooA shouted and he hugged Baekhyun oppa. “I miss you!”

“Hi JooA!” Yoona Eonni greeted her and they enter the house.

Everyone is exchanging kisses and hugs and I can feel that this is the happiest day in my life. As I watched them, I couldn’t help but be in tears. I washed it away and joined the happiness in our house.
