A missionary has spent years teaching agriculture and “civilization” to a native tribe in a remote jungle.

One day, he decides to teach them English. So he takes the leader and points to a tree.

“Tree.”

“Tree,” the leader intones.

The missionary points to a rock.

“Rock.”

“Rock,” the leader repeats.

Then they come upon a man and a woman making out in the bush.

Embarrassed, the missionary blurts out that they are “riding a bike”.

The leader pulls out his blowpipe and shoots the man with his dart.

“Stop!” yells the missionary. “I’ve spent all this time making you civilized, yet you so this!”

“My bike!” retorts the leader.
