JUNG SOMIN

I sat at a chair that faced the ocean. I already eased myself and my tears had come to the end. I stared blankly to the ocean. ‘Now, I just follow Oppa’s step. Being stupid. How could i turn everything back?' I sighed.

I was ok if people stared at him and adored him. But, I felt irritated when I heard that he shared his first kiss with Suzy. And, I hated when Jae Kyung touched him. I took a long breath. ‘What kind of feeling is this? Am I being jealous? Am I already falling for him?'

“Somin-ah?”

I turned my face and found Grandfather Kim stood behind me. “Eh, Mr Kim.” I stood up.

Grandfather Kim smiled and sat on the chair. “Sit down.”

I nodded and sat beside him.

“The seminar is already started by now.” He smiled.

“Ah, right!” I just remembered about the seminar.

“It’s ok.” Grandfather Kim touched my hand – stopping me to stand up. “Just stay here with me. This vacation is so boring. Both of you are busy with the seminar.” He said.

I smiled. “Mianhae, Mr Kim.”

“Somin-ah, just call me Harabeoji.”

I nodded and pleased by his warm smile.

“Hmmm.. Hyunjoong seems angry and disappointed since he back from breakfast this morning. Do you know why?”

I could feel a sudden hurt at my heart when I remember this morning incident. I lowered my head and kept silence.

“What is wrong?” Harabeoji asked me again.

I sighed.

JUNG YONGHWA

“You are calling off the Wedding?” Mr Seo asked me when Seohyun and I met him and Mrs Seo at their family’s house and told them about what happened.

“Appa.. EEomma.. It is my decision.” Seohyun said.

“But, I do not understand Seohyun-ah. I think you are in love with Yonghwa and want to marry him?” Mrs Seo asked in confusion.

“Eomma..”

“Tell me! What is wrong?” Mr Kim cut Seohyun’s statement.

Seohyun and I looked at each other. I felt unease. I saw that Mr Seo was disappointed with our decision.

“I know it was not you. It is not because of you, Seohyun-ah.” Mr Kim looked directly at me. “What is wrong?”

I found Seohyun stared at me and I smiled at her. I tried to composed myself. “I am sorry Mr and Mrs Seo, I just found that I look at Seohyun as a sister. I love her as my sister. And-“

“And, you just realize it now?!” Mr Kim shouted at me. “After she is waiting for you for years?!”

“Appa..”

“I am asking you, Jung Yonghwa!” Mr Kim demanded an answer.

Seohyun held her breath. I took a long breath. 'God! I hate this. I don't want to disappoint him.'

“Are you in love with other woman?” It was Mrs Seo who asked.

Now is my turned to hold my breath. ‘What should I say?’

“Appa.. This is our decision.” Seohyun said again.

“You cannot play us like this, Yonghwa. You are going to marry my daughter within a month or you just say goodbye to your company’s future.” Mr Seo stood up and leaved us behind.

“Appa!”

“Mr Seo!”

Seohyun and I stood up called him in unison.

But, he just walked away.

Seohyun approached her Eomma. “Eomma..”

“So.. That is true. You are in love with other woman, Yonghwa?”

I stared at Mrs Seo and became speechless. I remember Mr Seo’s threat over my company’s future. My family company’s futures. And, Shinhye's smiles came across my head.

Last day of seminar and it was ended early than usual - at 05:00 PM. Hyunjoong, Somin and Harabeoji planned to flight back to Seoul at 08:00 PM so Hyunjoong and Somin would be able to go to work the day after. But now, since lunch, Hyunjoong and Somin had not seen each other. Somin did not show up for the afternoon session at all.

Hyunjoong packed his things in hurry when the session ended. “Where is she?” He said under his breath worriedly.

“Oppa!” Suzy reached my arms. “When will you go back to Seoul?”

“Suzy-ah.. Not now.” Hyunjoong shoved her hand from his arms.

“Oppa, are you looking for your assistant?” Suzy pouted.

Hyunjoong did not answer her. He took his phone from the table.

“Oppa! Tell me the truth. Are you with her or not? I want to be your wife, Oppa. You know it for sure. I will win your heart again.”

Hyunjoong just stared at Suzy. “Mianhae, Suzy.” He walked away.

“Oppa!”

KIM HYUNJOONG

‘Where are you, Somin-ah.’ My eyes swept the hotel’s lobby and café. But, Somin was nowhere to be found. ‘Isshh.. Where is she?’ I felt worry. I had to find her soon.

By the time I decided to go to her room, I caught her walked toward the hotel from the beach with Harabeoji. I sighed in relief and run to them.

“Where were you?” I asked her once I stood in front of them.

They looked at me in surprise. Somin, as usual, a bit jumped on her feet and held on her chest. “Yah!” She snapped. “Geezzz.. Why you always scare me?” She pouted.

“You were the one who turned off the phone and did not appear at the seminar.” I half shouted at her.

Somin was shocked with my reaction. I could see that she was afraid at me. I tried to ease myself down and took a deep breath. ‘And I am still worry over her if I am not seeing her.’

“Hyunjoong-ah, if you are worry, just says so. No need to shout.” Harabeoji smirked.

I rolled my eyes, turned my body and walked away.

“Ah, Kim Hyunjoong!” Harabeoji called me.

I stopped my feet but not turning back.

“You can go home tonight all by yourself. Somin and I will extend our vacation here.”

“Mwo?!” I turned my head and stared at them in surprise.

Harabeoji smiled widely and Somin took a step back and hid herself behind harabeoji.
