JUNG YONGHWA

‘She calls off the Wedding.’ I stared at Seohyun who stood in front of me. “But, Seohyun-ah..”

She turned her body and walked out from my office. I stilled at my position and tried to recall everything that just happened. ‘Did she see it? Did she realize that I love Shinhye?’

PARK SHINHYE

I just entered my office when my phone rang. I took my phone from my table. Yonghwa.. I took a deep breath before I pressed yes button.

“She knows.” Yonghwa said before I greeted him.

“What are you talking about?” I did not understand.

“Seohyun. She just called off the wedding.” Yonghwa explained. I could felt his tensed voice.

I shocked. “How come? What is wrong?”

He did not answer. I kept in silence too. But I could felt our uneasiness.

JUNG SOMIN

I was washing my hand at the rest room when Suzy entered it and stood beside me. She smiled at me and I smiled back at her.

“How long have you been working with Hyunjoong Oppa?” She asked me while washing her hand.

‘Ishh.. Hyunjoong’s topic again.’ I smiled again. “Actually, I am Shinhye Eonnie’s assistant. She is the public relation manager at KIM Group.”

“Oo.. I see.” She grabbed a tissue and dried her hand. “Is he seeing someone?” Suzy stared at me.

I stared back at her – knowing who she was talking about. “Mr Kim?”

She nodded. “Is he seeing someone? Dating someone?” She was curios.

I felt unease with her question. “I don’t think so.” I tried to say it in calm voice. “But again, I just started my employment a week ago, so I did not notice it.”

Suzy smiled. “Well, I believe he does not seeing anyone. We really belong to each other. He does not see other women since we broke up. And, so do I.” She played with her hairs.

I just stared at her and felt a bit irritated. “Well, I should get going now.” I told her and stared to walk.

“Wait!” She called me.

I stopped my foot and turned my body to face her. She still smiled widely. ‘Tsskkk.. Stop smiling like that!’

“Do you know that we shared our first kiss when we were together?” Suzy seemed memorizing. “He was such a great kisser. And, not only that! We even-“

“Wait a minute, Miss.” I cut her statement, tried to compose myself and smiled. “I don’t think that I should hear that. My boss’ personal life is not my concern.” I smiled again and walked away.

‘Issshhh.. I really want to smack her! Why should she tell me that?’ I walked toward The Meeting Hall in furious. Once I reached the meeting hall, I threw my body at my chair.

Hyunjoong looked at me in confusion. “What is wrong?” He asked.

I opened my notebook in silence. I ignored him.

“Hey.. Is there something wrong?” He asked again.

“Nothing.” I decided to keep my mouth closed about the just now incident at the rest room.

I could feel his confusion stare at me. But, I still did not want to explain to him.

AUTHOR

Yonghwa could not find Seohyun at the office. The receptionist told him that Seohyun already left the building few hours ago. He tried to call her, but it seemed that she turned off her phone.

Yonghwa decided to call Seohyun’s house and the maid said that Seohyun was on her room and did not go out since she reached the house few hours ago. Yonghwa called Shinhye about the situation and they decided to go to Seohyun house.

Once they reached Seohyun’s house, we went directly to 2nd floor toward Seohyun’s room.

“Seohyun-ah, please open the door.” Yonghwa knocked at the door.

No answer.

Yonghwa looked at Shinhye.

Shinhye moved forward and knocked at the door. “Seohyun-ah, please open the door. It is not as you are thinking.. We don’t-“

The door was unlocked and opened. Seohyun appeared and showed her red eyes. Yonghwa and Shinhye could still hear her hiccup as a result of crying hard.  

Yonghwa and Shinhye looked at each other before Yonghwa approached Seohyun. “Seohyun-ah..”

“I do not realize that I am your greatest friend so that you prefer to choose me over your love, Yonghwa-ah.” Seohyun said in low voice. "It is her, right? Your true love?" Seohyun looked at Yonghwa then to Shinhye.

Yonghwa and Shinhye felt surprise to hear Seohyun's statement and question.

“Seohyun-ah..” Shinhye also approached her.

Seohyun smiled to them. She offered her hand. “Friend?”

KIM HYUNJOONG

‘What is wrong with her? Just before lunch she teased me over Suzy and Jae Kyung. And, now she seemed so irritated by me.’ I tried to recall what had happened along the day. But, there were nothing wrong - At least according to me.

“Let’s have a walk on the beach.” I grabbed her hand but she let go of my hand harshly.

“I am sorry. I need to be alone.” She walked away without any explanation.

I was still shocked with her reaction and just stared at her. ‘What the hell is going on?’

“Oppa!!” Suzy clinched her hand over my arms. “Let’s spend time together.”

I just ignored her and still stared at the door which Somin disappeared few moments ago. I took a long breath.

“Eh, where is your assistant?” Suzy looked around. “Ah, she is so understanding!” she exclaimed after saw Somin was not near them.

I felt strange to her statement. “What are you talking about?”

“Oppa, you are not seeing any body, right? Your assistant said that-“

“When did you talk to her?” I cut her statement.

“Right after lunch. At the rest room.” Suzy smiled. “She seems nice. I told her about our little secret.” She giggled.

I gave her what-secret stare and waited for her next explanation.

Suzy understood and smiled. “That we shared our first kiss. And, you are such a great kisser.” She giggled again.

I felt something knock my head. ‘That was why she was behaving strangely.’ I shoved away Suzy’s hand and walked hurriedly toward the door.
