Well, it was not surprising to see the power of Mrs Jung, Mr Park and Grandfather Kim to arrange the wedding of Yonghwa and Shinhye – Once Grandfather Kim received the news from Hyunjoong, he directly called Mrs Jung and offered his hand to help. In less than 12 hours, they already had a house full of white and grey wedding decoration. They also transformed the Jung’s living room as the place for wedding ceremony – include a simple altar.

They invited close friends and families – only less than 30 people that would attended the wedding.

Almost 07:00 PM. Most of the guests already arrived and fulfilled the living room. The guests were not surprise to be invited to the wedding. Most of them already knew the story of Yonghwa and Shinhye. They even felt glad that Yonghwa and Shinhye finally able to tie the knot. The elders stood at the entrance to welcome the guests as for Yonghwa dan Shinhye, they were nowhere to be found. They were still on their dressing room.

JUNG YONGHWA

I stared at my reflection on the mirror. ‘I am expecting a different way in marrying Shinhye. I wish I could do it in the Church. But, I think this will do. The most important thing is I am marrying Shinhye – The woman that I love the most.’ I smiled lightly.

I was managing my white suit with a grey vest when I heard someone knocked the door. I turned my body and found Somin and Hyunjoong walked in.

“Oppa!” Somin rushed to me but hugged me carefully. “Congratulation, Oppa.” She smiled widely.

I nodded and kissed her on her cheek. “Thank you, Somin-ah.”

“Congratulation, Yonghwa.” Hyunjoong offered his hand.

I took his and grabbed it lightly. “Thank you.”

“Why are you still here, Oppa? You should go out and welcome the guests. They have been looking for you.” Somin reached Hyunjoong waist and hugged him tightly. Hyunjoong grabbed Somin shoulder and kissed her hair lightly.

‘Hm.. They are more intimate. I wonder.. Wait! Stop this, Yonghwa! She is married now. It is good if they are finally got together. You have to concentrate more on your wedding.’ I shook my head. ‘Ughhh I just cannot get rid my old habit easily.’

“Oppa, are you ok?” Somin asked me worriedly.

I looked at her and Hyunjoong. Hyunjoong smirked as he put his chin over Somin’s head. ‘Damn! He knows about my thought just now.’

“Oppa?” Somin reached my arm.

“Ah, I am ok.” I answered. “Yes, you are right. I better go out now.”

“Hyunjoong Oppa will go with you.” She stared at Hyunjoong. “I will go and see Shinhye Eonnie.” Her eyes asked for permission.

Hyunjoong nodded. “I will accompany Yonghwa.” He said.

Somin smiled widely and walked out the door. Hyunjoong and I stared at her until she was vanished from our sight.

“Let’s go!” I said. ‘I am not going to talk about it with him.’

PARK SHINHYE

‘I will be his wife in minutes.’ I could not help myself from smiling. ‘After all the pains, he will be mine.’

“Eonnie!”

I heard Somin’s voice and turned my body. I saw her walked in with a huge smile on her face. “You are here.”

“Of course I am here, Eonniee” She stopped in front of me. “OMO, Eonnie! You are soooo beauutiffulll!!” She exclaimed while clapping her hands. Her eyes were sparkled and locked at me.

I blushed. “Really? Thank you, Somin-ah.”

She stared at my eyes. “How could you find this fine dress?” She confused. “I always thought that I would help you chose your wedding dress, just like what you did for me.” She pouted.

I could not help myself from giggling. She was such a funny younger sister. “This was my Eomoni’s.”

Her eyes became wider. “Really??”

I nodded and smiled. I suddenly remembered my past. I remember my childhood and my teenager’s life in Busan. Eomoni, Jung Ah, my Eonnie, and I used to spend time together. We shared everything, every single story of our life. When I received my scholarship in Seoul National University, I had to leave them behind. And, I met Yonghwa. Yonghwa dragged me to his personal life. He introduced me to his family. I felt so happy. It was like I found my missing family.

On my first school’s holiday, I brought Yonghwa to Busan and met my family. They loved him at the first sight. Eomoni and Jung Ah Eonnie asked so many questions about Yonghwa. They expected us to end up as couple. A year after, Eomoni died. My frequencies to come to Yonghwa’s house were increasing. I spent lots of time with Eomma and Somin. Eomma reminded me to Eomoni. Having her around helped me a lot to handle my lost.

Before she died, Eomoni divided and gave us her favorite belongings. Aboeji held her wedding ring; Jung Ah Eonnie got her engagement ring, while I kept her wedding dress. I felt sad to face the reality that I did not get the ring. I loved the ring so much. It has such a classic cut. And, the most important thing is it reflected the pure love of Abeoji and Eomoni.

But now, I was getting married to the man that I loved with Eomoni’s white sleeveless with the train back and illusion chapel train gown and an engagement ring that was similar to Eomoni’s ring. Everything was just perfect. ‘I wish for a happy and long life wedding just like Abeoji and Eomoni.’

“Shinhye-ah.”

I raised my head and found Abeoji stood next to Somin.

“I better go now and find Hyunjoong Oppa.” Somin bowed a little to Abeoji. “Eonnie, you looked great. And, I am really happy to have you as Oppa’s wife and my bigger sister.” Somin said as she took my hands and tapped it lightly.

“Gomawo, Somin-ah.”

She smiled and walked out.

“Shinhye-ah, I am sorry.” Abeoji said a minute later after Somin’s walked away.

I stared at him. “Sorry for what?”

“I should prepare your wedding better than this.” His eyes were cloudy.

I reached his hand and grabbed it tightly. “It is ok, Abeoji. A marriage for me is your permission, Jung Ah Eonnie’s support and Yonghwa’s family acceptance.” I smiled. “I will not expect more than this.”

A smile was formed on his face. He smiled and tried to hold his tear.

I clinched my hands on his. “Let’s go, Abeoji.”

JUNG YONGHWA

I tried hard to compose myself. ‘I am getting married to Shinhye. Finally..’

The wedding’s march took me back to my sense. I glanced at Somin who looked excited toward me and Eomma who gave me a big and encouraging smile. I took a deep breath and threw my sight to Shinhye’s shadow.

‘There she is.’ I stared at her.

Maybe this was not a perfect place for me to marry her. But, she was as perfect as I could imagine. She looked gorgeous with her white wedding dress. I could easily aware that her eyes were locked into mine – we shared smile and lowered our sight: blushing.

In minutes, she already stood in front of me. I looked directly to Abeoji’s eyes and bowed a little. He offered me Shinhye’s hand which I took gently. I led her to our altar, a simple table where our documents and rings were put.

I stared at Shinhye and raised my right hand. “I, Jung Yonghwa, take you, Park Shinhye, to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God's holy law, in the presence of God I make this vow.”
