Dinner
Crimson DreamsA year ago...
"Jiro!" I called, as I ran towards him.
He turned around, and smiled as he saw me. He extended his hands out to me as I grab for his hands.
"I told you to wait." I said to him.
"You took too long doing your makeup."
"Ya, you know how women are! We take forever."
Jiro chuckled, tightening his grip on me.
I smiled and added, "You're the one who invited me to dinner. How could you leave your date behind?"
"Well," Jiro began, "If I didn't leave first, we would've been late."
I pouted. "Why didn't you take your car? You bought it for a reason, don't just let it stay in your backyard for show."
"I didn't want to drive today." he said.
I changed the topic. "So I'm meeting your family today?"
Jiro nodded. "I know they're going to like you. I just know it." Then he asked, "Hyeri?"
"Hmm?"
"When am I going to meet your family? Or at least your parents?" Jiro asked.
I didn't hesitate. "I told you my mother is dead and my father and I don't have the best relationship. I also told you I have no siblings."
"I know, but I would still like to visit your mother."
He doesn't know.
He doesn't know I'm a half-bred.
He doesn't know my mother is a vampire so he doesn't know that when she died, she turned to dust.
Jiro doesn't know who I am and what I am.
Jiro shouldn't know who I am and what I am.
This is because his family are hunters.
However, Jiro didn't inherit that ability.
Some may wonder why I didn't tell him when he can't hurt me.
He can't hurt me and I know he won't hurt me, but he had a trauma with vampires before as a kid. So I don't wish to scare away the one I love.
Even if in the end, I am going to devour him.
"We'll see." I told him.
