What an eventful day today. My mom must have called my teachers during lunch because when I came back they started treating me like I was glass, asking me if they were giving me too much homework, and if I ate well, and if I didn’t feel well I could just leave the classroom. Not only that happened though, no, someone must have overheard the conversation. News tends to spread like wildfire in our school, so by the end of the day everyone knew that I was dying, I swear when I walked down those halls people parted like the Red Sea.

Mom told me Dad is coming home next month, apparently he’s going to take a “vacation”. I know he’s going to have to work from home now, but mom doesn’t want me to know the reason why he’s coming home, so I guess I’ll just keep my mouth shut.
