School was, weirdly, nice. Yixing sat with me at lunch today, I could see his friends in panic behind him, but once again waved them off and smiled at me. I didn’t talk much, but he gladly told me how he just came here two months ago, and that he is from a student from China, but moved here because his dad had work over here. He said he was glad he made friends so quick, but he noticed last month that I had no friends, and he’s been working up the courage to talk to me. Who would have known, this situation is pretty fun to me.

I should probably tell him I’ll be dead in a year. That’s why his friends get nervous around me.
