Donghae's POV

2 more weeks till Soo young's birthday. Everything's set for Min's surprise for her. We're actually secretly busy cos we don't want the girls to know Min's surprise for Soo young for her birthday. And I'm helping Min up until now with Leeteuk hyung and Kyu. BUT. I didn't expected that Luhan will be here so early! Not in the plan! Min doesn't know yet that Luhan and Soo young had a past relationship way back then and Luhan wants her back. It will ruin everything if Min will know Luhan's secret. So I shall do my job again here. -_____-

"Yo Donghae! You're spacing out again?" Min suddenly tapped my shoulder

"Ah not really I'm just taking a rest. This is quiet hard you know? -___-"

"Hehehehe. Mianhe! Thank you so much for your hardwork and for keeping this a secret! Don't worry, I'll treat you an ice cream after all of this!" Min said excitedly

"Just an ice cream?! I could buy a factory of ice cream you know?" -_____-

"Ehhhhhh. Hehehehe. Btw, Do you know anything about Luhan?" Min said. Woah. Why so sudden?

"Uhm. None. I only met him just now. Why?" I asked.

"Nothing. I can feel that he's nice and all. But somehow something bothers me tho." YOU HIT THE TARGET SUNGMIN. YOU REALLY DID.

"What is it?" I asked

"I guess they're something between Luhan and Soo young. Cos I saw them hugging each other and she ran away crying. I didn't told you guys awhile ago that I saw what happened between the two of them but I wanted to know what's going on between those two." He said seriously.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?!

"Oh about that. Don't worry much about that. Just focus for your surprise for her and everything will be fine." I assured him tho I'm not that sure myself too.

"Okay then. If you say so! I trust you!" Min said then I smiled as a response.

Then I left him there while working with Leeteuk hyung and Kyuhyun. I need to take a rest and get some fresh air. We've been working almost the whole day! I'm still human you know! -____-

I'm walking towards the fountain when I saw a guy sitting on my favorite bench near to it. Usually no one like really. NO ONE SITS ON MY FAVORITE BENCH. But I saw a guy sitting on it and I walk towards him....

"Excuse me but that's my bench. Please leave" I said

"But no one said that it's yours." The guy still didn't look at me and still reading his book

"I said so. And you're the only one who dares to sit on my bench you know that?" I warned him.

"Yah. Don't be angry Donghae. Chill! It's only me!" Then the guy looked at me.

"L-LUHAN?!" I said. I was shocked!!!

"Surprise much? Hahahaha. Yeah it's me. So it's your favorite bench here? Mind if I sit here with you?" He said coolly.

"Do I have a choice? I'm tired and I'm not in the mood to argue with you." I said. I'm tired you know! -____-

"Always being nosy! Hahaha. Okay then, I'll shut up for a while now" Then he became quiet

After almost 10 minutes of silence, I somehow regained my energy. So I started to talk to Luhan

"It's been a while huh?" Luhan said. I was about to say that!!! 

"Are you a mind reader? Cos I was about to say that in the first place?!" I said

"HAHAHAHA!!! JINJA? That's awesome. Yah, I'm not a mind reader you know. I just thought that it's too quiet and I thought that you might go to sleep if I didnt started talking so here you go I'm doing. We're interacting now. How are you? It's been years since we at met." Luhan said while crossing his legs and fixing his book on the other side of the bench

"Yes, it's been a long time huh? I'm fine thank you. For the past years, many changed. As in MANY." I emphasized the word MANY.

"Ohh about that? Are you referring to Soo young?" BINGO.

"Not only about her but for everything. But yeah, I was really referring to Soo young."

"She did changed. She is not the little girl whom I play with at their house. She is now a lady. And she is pretty as always." Luhan looked from a far and smiled. 

"You still love her do you?" I asked

"Yes. I still do." He said while turning to me while looking into my eyes

"But you know what's her answer right? She's not ready yet and she loves someone else now." I answered him directly

"I can wait. And I know that she still have feelings for me. I want her back Donghae." Yeah feelings of hatred for you

"You can't. Like what I have said, MANY THINGS HAVE CHANGED."

"But Donghae, we're childhood friends right? You know that from the start, I really like...no I really love Soo young since we're kids." He said

"I know that. Of course we're friends but face the fact that Soo young's world doesn't revolve for you anymore." I told him

"But... Aish. Okay okay. I accept the fact that many things have changed since then. That I hurt Soo young's feelings when I left her and all. And I regretted it Donghae. I really do. And that's why I came back here for her. I'll do anything. Anything. Just for her to come back to me." He said. And I saw a tear drop on hi cheeks. He still loves Soo young huh? But I'm sorry Luhan, Soo young's heart is captured and only for Min now

"How about if you just helped me be friends with her?" He said while wiping the tears on his cheek

"Sure. I can help you with that." I assured him.

While we're still sitting on the bench, we heared two loud voices... and it was from....

"SOO YOUNG? SUNGMIN?" Luhan said

We saw Soo Young and Sungmin chasing each other at the garden near our greenhouse.

"YAH! LEE SUNGMIN RETURN THE COOKIES NOW THIS INSTANT OR ELSE I'LL PUNCH YOU REAL HARD!" Soo Young said while chasing Sungmin

"CATCH ME IF YOU CAN GRANNY SOO YOUNG YOU RUN SO SLOW LIKE A SNAIL! IS THAT WHAT YOU'VE GOT? HAHAHAHA!!!" Min teased Soo young even more. He really doesn't learn from Soo young huh?

"WHO DO YOU CALL GRANNY HUH GRUMPY SUNGMIN?" Soo young then have been filled with a dark aura around her. Not good.

"WHOA. CALM DOWN THERE SOO YOUNG I WAS JUST JOKING!!!!" Min suddenly panics. Hahahaha. That's good for you Min. :))

"No I'll not calm down. You just ate the cookies that I baked for all of you!" Soo young said while going straight to Min

"I'm sorry!!! Here's the cookies here's the cookies!!!" Min surrenders the cookies to Soo young

"Yah! How can you eat all of the cookies so fast?!" Oh no.

"I'm hungry you know! I was like busy for the....Ah forget it!" Woah. That was close! 

"For that, I shall punish you! Come here!" Soo young said

"I don't wanna wanna! Catch me first! HAHAHA!!!" Then Min sticks his tounge out and run as fast as he could

"LEE SUNGMIN!!!!" Then Soo young started to catch him

Then they both laugh at each other. Sungmin suddenly tripped at a banana peel and stumbled down that made Soo young laughed so hard and helped him get up but he pulled Soo young and they both are now on the ground playing like kids.

"They look so happy huh? Maybe this is your reason why I should stop on getting Soo young back." Luhan finally talked again. 

"Yeah. Glad you realized it Luhan." I said to him directly

"Hmmm... You know what?"

"What?" I said

"I don't wanna give up yet on Soo young." He said and stands up

"YOU SAID WHAT?" I was shocked and I stand up too!

"I don't want to give up without putting up a fight. A fair fight between two guys. Me and Sungmin. Don't worry, it's not a physical fight. But a fight for whoh Soo young will choose." He said

"You know the result right? Soo young will choose Sungmin over you." I said 

"You never know if we didn't try right? There's no harm at trying. And after I saw her smiling and laughing because of Sungmin, I became jealous. I want to see her smile and laugh because of me. That's why I changed my mind just now. I still want her back."

"If that's what you want then. Suit yourself." I said and I was about to leave

"You don't want to force me to stop getting her back?"

"Nope. Why would I? It's your choice. Well then. I'll go back to the greenhouse now. Oh yeah, you're our classmate right? So you'll be with us at the greenhouse. And yeah, I didn't formally welcomed you to this school. Welcome to 13 Seouls and I hope you enjoy your stay with us. Ciao!" I started to walk and waved back at him not letting him say a word.

He really doesn't want to give up huh? It's a good thing tho. Not a good thing if Min wins without having a fair fight tho. Let's see what Sungmin can do for Soo young. Sungmin, fighting!!!
