I tossed and turned all night, my feelings that are in vain

Jiwon only had one more drink to get from the vending machine. She already got Eunha's, Yuju's, and SinB's, now all she needed was hers. Before she could scan her card, someone beat her to it.

"It's my treat."

Jiwon turned around at the familiar voice.

"You really didn't have to, Momo."

"Eh, I wanted to." Momo shrugged, bending down to take out the canned juice and handing it to the small manager. "How has unnie been?"

"Thanks. And I've been good. The kids aren't being too much trouble."

"Eyy~ unnie sounds like such a mom."

"Someone has to be." Jiwon gave her a teasing smile in return, making Momo laugh. "Anyway, how are things between your friend and that crush of theirs? Any progress?"

"Hmm..? Oh!" Right, she forgot about her "friend" and their secret crush. The friend being her. "She's letting go of it. She's happy being close friends."

"Aww, did she at least say anything to her crush?"

"No. The person she liked is kind of dense and it would only confuse them."

"I see. Do they like someone else?"

"They do... but they just don't realize it yet. Such a dumb bear."

"Danshin unnie! There you are." Yuju skipped up to them, mussing the small manager's hair in greeting. "Hey Momo unnie! Guess you ran into our danshin, huh?"

"Quit it with the danshin nonsense!" Jiwon replied, childish scowl on her face.

"Never~" Yuju meronged back, pinching her cheeks. "The Eunbis are starting to whine about their drinks, I was sent to get you." Yuju swiped her drink.

"Ah, let's go then. I'll see you later, Momo."

With a wave over her shoulder, Jiwon was gone.

Yuju looked towards the dancer, noticing her disappointed expression. She sighed.

"What is it with you dancers?"

"Huh?" Momo looked at her confused.

"Nothing. See you." Yuju ran to catch up with her manager.
