Episode three

Part one

The camera started out with Bonnie and Lily looking over the Composer profiles they were given. There were 5 other people besides Jinsoon. 3 girls and 2 guys. "I like this one. Kim Aecha. She looks reliable." Lily said and looked over the others profiles again. "Alright, now who should the others get?" Bonnie asked and hummed softly. 

Their fates are in your hands, Bonnie!

"How about we mix them up and close our eyes to pick for the groups?" Bonnie asked and Lily nodded. "Sounds fair. Let's do it." Bonnie took out Aecha's profile and closed her eyes, mixing the profiles.  "Lily, call out a name." Bonnie said. "Minyoung." Bonnies hand stopped on a profile and picked it up. "They got Jinsoon oppa." Bonnie said and placed it to the side. They kept doing that until there was only one left. Seul, Stacy and Daily got Park Donghong, Sophia and Seoyun got Lee Jungmin, Taeha and Minri got Oh Sunyeon, and Iris and Nabi got Han Jiyeon.

"Taeha is fine. Bonnie, did you finish distributing the composers?" Minji asked and Bonnie looked up, nodding. "Alright, hand them out and get to your composers." She said. Bonnie grabbed all the files and handed them out. The girls quickly walked to their rooms, except for Minri and Taeha. They took a bit longer to get to the room. 

Once everyone got into the rooms, the composers came in. The screen switched to Seul, Daily and Stacy. The composer came in and the three of them bowed. Wow, their composer was rather cute, or, really cute. "Hello girls, my name is Park Donghong, I'll be your composer for this challenge." He introduced and the girls introduced themselves individually. The others meeting went mostly the same, except for Minyoung, Suji and Jinsoon. ​Jinsoon walked in and smiled at the two girls. "Hello girls. You know who I am, so let's get to the point, nae?" "Yes Jinsoon oppa." 

30 minutes later and about 6 songs later there was a sudden announcement. "All older girls, please report to the main area." Everyone looked around and the composers nodded, sending the older girls off. The older girls gathered in the main lobby and looked at each other, whispering amongst themselves. The younger girls were with the composers, talking about what song they should pick. 

The camera flashed to Taeha who was sitting with their composer, Sunyeon. "I like this one unnie. It's upbeat and happy." Taeha said and Sunyeon nodded. "I think it would suit your voice, along with Minri's, but let's get Minri's opinion first." Sunyeon said and Taeha nodded. The camera flashed to Lily, who had their song picked out and was now working with Aecha.

Nabi flashed on the screen bobbing her head to the music of the song she liked. "I really like this one, but I don't know how Iris unnie would feel." She said to Jiyeon and Jiyeon nodded. "I think she'll like it though." Sophia was looking over the songs. "If we sing a song like this, we don't need to dance, right?" She asked and the Jungmin nodded. "Of course not, It's a song designed to show of your vocals." 

Minyoung looked at the songs carefully. "I like this one." She held up the song and Jinsoon nodded. "It fit's your image, but aren't you a rapper? How about this one?" He handed her the other one and she shrugged. "We'll wait for Suji unnie to decide." Seul and Stacy were humming along. They found a sing they liked and they were going to stick to it. It was 2 against 1 and majority wins. Daily would probably like the song anyway. Probably.

The scene skipped to the night time, showing the winners of the last episode already asleep in their nice apartment. Team Vanilla already had their tent set up, and a female camera worker following Suji and Lily into the bathroom. Lily set straight to work with a skincare routine that one of the other members suggested while Suji locked herself in the stall to change. Both worked in silence, Suji coming out only moments later dressed in a light pink tank top and shorts with white lace- Cute but still y, the image she wanted everyone to see. She and Lily didn't seem to acknowledge each other beyond a shared smile as they switched spaces. Lily had chosen a grey partial-button up and pink plaid pants. They seemed to work in coexistence as they returned to the tent. They both kept to their own. Nabi was already settled down in her corner of the tent, writing furiously onto her pad of paper. It seemed as though she kept her songs there, and held it very dear. She wore a form-fitting black pajama shirt with rib patterns and light blue pants that cut off mid-calf with dark blue stripes.

Seoyun sported a simple white tank top and grey sweatpants- Something she'd wear to practice, really. Phoenix had on a tan and white pair of pajamas, striped pants with a Baymax top. It was unassuming, reflecting her daily style. Taeha shifted uncomfortably- She'd dressed a bit different than usual, hoping to gain more attention, but Suji'd really picked the iest between them, though it could be considered innocent as well. Taeha had chosen a purple Bugs Bunny T-shirt and short black and white striped shorts. Seul really took her place as maknae, wearing an adorable and fuzzy animated panda nightgown. Everyone was in the tent, ready to go to bed, all bare faced and with messy hair.

"Unnie, do you think that everyone's duo or trio will go well?" Seul asked Phoenix, who seemed to be surprised at being addressed.

"Of course. It's not like they're going to do more to us, right?" Phoenix, said with a soft assuring smile.

"I think they could," Nabi interjected, "Like, a lot. We're contestants, you know? Not people or anything."

Phoenix looked over at Nabi and sighed softly, "They shouldn't do anything so soon." The rapper just shrugged, finishing up her page and lying the notebook aside.

"Girls, let's head to bead, yeah?" Seoyun said and got under the blanket, waiting for the others to do the same.

"Yes Unnie!" The younger five chorused. They all had gotten under their blankets and sighed softly. The scene slowly faded to the next morning. The two youngest of Team Sunshine were up early since they had to go to school that morning. Seul was as well, and the three met at the bus stop before waving goodbye at the staff and cameras before leaving. The other girls were an absolute mess. Half of them were awake and the other half was still sleeping soundly, with their hair everywhere. Lily was, begrudingly, one of the ones awake. She took it upon herself to get the others as well. Phoenix gave an uncharacteristic squeal as she launched herself to her feet, stepping on Suji's stomach. The eldest sat bolt upright, coughing heavily with an intense glare the vocalist's way. Seoyun, who was already up immediately went over to Suji's side. Phoenix had apologized almost as fast as she jumped up, but it didn't mean it wouldn't stop hurting. Suji just turned away from her, instead talking to Seoyun and assuring her "jagiya" that everything was fine.

Good..Morning?

In the other dorm, Iris was up and doing her usual morning exercise and Daily was in the kitchen, making breakfast for everyone. Stacy, who had just woken up to the scent of breakfast, excitedly going to Daily to share the clearly amazing news. Breakfast was always a good way to cheer people up, even if they didn't need it. Stacy had gotten to Daily's room only to hear Daily say she was in the kitchen.

"Wow, this smells amazing."

"Who isn't awake?" Stacy called from the bedroom.

"Oh..." Stacy fiddled with her sleeve, clearly nervous all of the sudden, "I just...I'll go get her, then."

Stacy and Bonnie sat impatiently as they waited for breakfast.

"I want it now," The '95 liner whispered.

"I do too." Bonnie whispered back, staring at the food.

"Soon," Daily replied, grinning at them. The two girls smiled while Iris took a shower. It was a pretty peaceful morning, Daily would say.

Later in the day, the remaining 10 girls had went to the studio and met with their producers. Luckily, they were each able to take a different room, maximizing their time instead of having to wait and being cut of for the others. That had certainly been annoying last time. With Suji and Minyoung, Jinsoon looked over at the eldest contestant and then over to the song again.

"Are you sure you can do this song Suji?"

"Of course," She assured, but sounded a bit less than confident, "Why?"

"I...I'm not sure," She admitted, losing her cool, "I mean, I Like U Too Much was cute and I got good marks, but this is a little...Different kind of cute. But it fits Minyoung well." The brunette made sure to remember to annoy the younger about it later.

"That's true, but Minyoung also liked this song." Jinsoon said, sliding the song and playing the beat before the camera switched. Stacy and Daily were sitting with Donghong, Seul still at school with Minyoung and Sophia. Both seemed pretty...Uncontended with the song.

"Are you sure this is a good choice?" Stacy asked, voice sharp.

"Well, you know Seul...She's really bad with decisions but she seemed really set on this one," Daily gave a smile, but Stacy scoffed.

"It's so stupid!"

"Hey, that's my song you're talking about," Donghong defended, "Look, I think if you put your hearts into it, it can really work with all of you. It all depends on how you want to represent it- It was meant to be very flexible. So you can make it sound however you want."

There doesn't seem to be any middle ground in these teams...

"Who do you want to invite?" Lily asked excitedly, "We have a great song, but I don't know who would fit best.."

"Since we're a dance unit, I was thinking someone who has different talents than us," Bonnie pondered. She tapped at her bottom lip in thought, looking to Aecha, "Hey- Er, I mean, Aecha-ssi, do you have any ideas?"

"Well, there are a few options...I was thinking of maybe Jungkook of BTS? Since he's near your ages. Or maybe Yougjae of BAP, he really fits with your style. There's of course Taemin of SHINee, but I have a feeling Suji won't appreciate it, and he's currently preparing for his group comeback. You both know Seventeen members, right?"

"Welcome girls!" Chorong of Apink greeted a few of the thirteen. School was still going on thanks to the long Korean school hours, and the eldest of each team was standing in  a row. The leader was one of the guest judges for the week, and her hair was freshly cut- A sign of her own comeback. Her voice was soft as usual, and her eyes roamed across them, "We're here to give some news- For one team, depending on how you take it, this could be wonderful or horrible news. For another, it can't be anything but bad, unfortunately."

"That's...Concerning," Nabi whispered to herself.

"Throughout the week, there was a voting going done online. We asked for everyone to vote for their favorite members," She continued, "In order to decide this- Which team gets to perform two songs, and which team will not be having a music video."

"Woah," Seoyun gripped her own wrist tightly, worried. What if she and Sophia couldn't film an MV- That, honestly, had a great chance of seriously hurting their judge scoring. Like, badly. That would start to lose their sponsors, and if they lost sponsors, the company would start to lose profit and...Why would they do that? "I'm really, like, scared right now."

Please don't worry Seoyun!!

"So, to start! The girls that will be filming two MV's are...Suji and Minyoung!" Suji released a bated breath, already knowing exactly what she wanted to do.

"Thank you, sunbae," She smiled and bowed.

"And the girls that won't be able to have a music video are Nabi and Iris!" Iris could only barely hold back her groan, wondering how she would explain this to Nabi. It was a bad situation that could only get worse.

"Yes, sunbae," She murmured.

"I can't believe we don't get an MV!" Nabi complained in the interview room, "That's actually the worst."

Q. What are you going to do now that you have got a big disadvantage?

"Well, Iris and I need to work harder. We'll just have to show everyone else how it's done!" The camera switched to Taeha in a practice room, breathing heavy but listening intently to the PD.

Q. What do you think about Minyoung and Suji getting two music videos and performances?

"I think it's horrible," She frowned deeply, "That's not okay at all- It's totally cheating. I can't believe my labelmates would...Sorry. Let's all work our hardest, neh?"

"It's ty," Taeha replied to the PD's question before gapsing with a hand covering , "I'm so sorry, please let me restart!"

CUT

"I literally hate this," Suji sighed, running a hand through her hair, "I get enough crap as it is for my plastic surgery, age, seeming really ual, literally everything. I'm beyond done and now we get such a strange...Advantage? I think it's more of a damn curse, twice the work...I'm not grateful at all- I just, please, I'm tired, please don't air that. I just can't right now, I need a, God, real night's sleep or something. Sorry. Sorry."

CUT

"I think that Nabi and Iris have to work really hard," Chorong said, fiddling with her sleeve, "They're really in trouble right now, rapppers aren't even that popular."
