Chaerin faced the huge window in her room, her blonde hair was loose and she wore her satin night gown. The room was dark, the only light that was one was the one in the entry way but it was dimmed down.

She had insisted her visitor that she needed to turn on a light but he refused, she nods and walked further into her room.

"What are you doing here so late oppa?" She asks the man "I thought you would be in your bachelor party" she adds

"I've had my bachelor party weeks ago, tonight is just one last night as a single man" he corrects her

"But you're not single at all oppa" she says pointing out the obvious.

"I know that, and you know that but I know your secret now" he said in a different tone

"What do you mean?"

"You love me"

She coughed "what?" She was surprised

"I can see it in your eyes, you love me more than a best friend" he added

"No, no you're wrong.. I only love you as a best friend.. you're going to get married tomorrow" Chaerin says in a low tone

"And you hate that, I'm going to marry the woman I love while the man you love will never be yours" he added

Chaerin's breathing became heavier "no, I haven't met the man I will love yet"

He chuckles and get closer to her, he grabs her arms "you don't love me then?"

Chaerin could smell the alcohol in his breath, she now understands this nonsense.

"I don't love you oppa"

"No?"

"Only as my best friend"

He chuckles "lies" he said and pulled her harshly towards him, he held her waist tightly and his lips touched hers.

She hit his chest "stop" she said while trying to push the man away but he held her tightly. She could feel his lips on hers and again she hit his chest, his lips then landed on her neck "stop oppa"

Suddenly he let her go, she was quick to slap the man hard.

He chuckles "I love my fiancé, I love your sister and I would never leave her for you"

Chaerin wakes up panting from the dream she just had, she touched her forehead and she could feel the sweat.

"What was that?" She asks in a whisper, she had a dream with a faceless man.

She shakes her head "it was a nightmare" she voices "I don't have a sister" she added.

The next morning,

Jiyong sat in front of the couple, after picking him up from the airport they took him to their home. They understood that he may not have want to talk right away so they lead him to his room and let him rest the night.

Now the next morning Dara kept looking at him closely, her eyes were on him almost at every minute. He was starting to feel uncomfortable but he doesn't want to stay anything.

"Where is my Rinnie?" She asks him

Jiyong furrows his eyebrows confused

"She means Chaerin" YB said explaining to him

Jiyong nods understanding "she's in Jeju" he admits

Dara smiles at that, she feels relief knowing that her beloved cousin is safe.

"Is she doing okay?" Asks YB

Jiyong shakes his head yes "she works with kids, she loves volunteering" he says smiling

Dara smiles "she has always had a soft spot for kids and animals"

Jiyong nods "she volunteers at a shelter too" he admits

"Are you sure you lost your memory?" Dara asks

"Yeah I'm very sure, why the question?" Jiyong asks her

Dara sighs "you're married to HaeYin yet held a relationship with Chaerin and that didn't help remember anything?" She asks "they look very much alike"

Jiyong nods "I didn't remember anything, only little flashbacks of things.. I still don't remember anything" he admitted

"You love HaeYin, loved her very much before your supposed death" she added

"I want to know more, I want to know everything before Chaerin is informed of any of this"

"What happened to her?" Dara asks

"I just met her a couple of months ago at the beach, she told me she had an accident in which her memory was lost but her mother helped her remember"

"Her mother?" YB asks confused

"An older lady has raised her as her daughter this past years"

Dara furrows her eyebrows "but- but we have done everything, we post things on newspapers, we have done a lot to find her.. How is that-?"

"I've never seen anything posted or things in the newspaper while living there" Jiyong confessed

YB looks at Dara confused "HaeYin is in charge of that, I will ask her" Dara says

HaeYin walks around in her room twirling with a picture frame in her hands, she kept dacing around then she laughed hard while looking at the picture in hand

"why?" Her eyes were full of hatred and her laugh was almost evil

"Why, why were you born?" She asks the girl smiling back at her in the photo

HaeYin throws the picture frame far away from her "I ha

Chapter 25: I am more than pleased to see Jiyong and Chaerin finally together but I'm quite disappointed that Haeyin won in the end by having her parents side with her. Sorry but I disagree with Chaerin for not telling her parents. I'm disgusted with the way her parents treated her. Unreal!

This story had such an interesting premise with lots of potential angst within the characters but it ends up with cliche black or white figures without depth
