At exactly 8:20 pm, Joong Ki arrived at Privado to meet up with Hyun Bin. He didn't feel nervous about finally seeing and conversing with his rival in person, because he knew that this ought to happen. He just kept a mental note to himself to keep calm and be respectful at all times. Hyun Bin was still his sunbae in the industry after all. 

"Excuse me, Jay." Joong Ki said to his bartender friend. "Have you seen Hyun Bin around the area?" 

"Neh," Jay nodded respectfully. "He had a private room reserved, Mr. Song. I think it's the first room at the left side of the pub." He added.

"Kamsahamnida." Joong Ki replied, following the directions Jay had given him. 

As Joong Ki stood in front of the door that separated him and Hyun Bin, he took a deep breath and gathered his thoughts. There was so much that he wanted to say to him, that he needed to keep track of all the details point by point. He didn't want to look lost in front of his rival after all. Joong Ki has had enough of him being on the losing end. 

When he was finally ready to face Hyun Bin, he turned the doorknob and entered the room. Hyun Bin had his back against the latter at first, but when he heard the door close, he turned around to face Joong Ki. 

"8:30 pm. You're on time." Hyun Bin said. 

Joong Ki bowed respectfully in front of his sunbae before opening his mouth to speak. 

"I kept my word, Hyun Bin sunbaenim. I hope you're not surprised that I did." Joong Ki responded a bit sarcastically.

"Don't worry. I'm glad that you're here." Hyun Bin said, matching Joong Ki's sarcasm with his'. "Anyway, let's take a seat. This won't take long, anyway." He added.

As soon as the two gentlemen were settled in their seats, Joong Ki poured some wine on Hyun Bin's glass as a sign of respect. Though it hurt his pride to do such, he couldn't forget his manners even if he was in a hostile setting. 

"You know, I've never had a woman come between me and a colleague before. This is the first time that this is happening to me, and to be honest, it's making me a bit uncomfortable." Hyun Bin started. "But there's nothing I can do because this is a battle that I got myself into, and I'm going to do everything it takes for me to win." He added.

"I've known Hye Kyo a lot longer than you do. I've seen how youthful and full of joy she was back in the
