A year after...

 

Min Hee's POV

 

 

It's Christmas again here in Seoul. Key and I have been married for a year now but we still have no child. But we hope to have one soon. I remember what had happened a year ago, just the night before our wedding. 

 

I received a call from Key. "Yoboseyo?" I answered. "Yoboseyo? Is this Park Min Hee?" an unfamiliar voice said. "Yes. Why?" I replied. I was starting to get worried. Where was Key anyway? "This is Doctor Min Hyung Kim from the Han General Hospital. I have called to inform you that the owner of this phone was rushed here a while ago. He was brought in by a person named Kim Hee Chul. He was injured from a car accident and was badly injured. Good thing Mr. Kim Hee Chul brought him early, or he wouldn't have made it," he explained.

 

The phone fell from my grip and I saw myself sitting on the floor, crying my eyes out. My fiance was badly injured in an accident. My childhood friend, my one true love, has saved him. 

 

It was a year ago. The truth is, I've told myself a hundred times that I have already forgotten about Hee Chul. But I haven't. I still love him, even though I'm now married. I love Key. But true love never dies right? 

 

It's Christmas again. I can still remember years ago about the surprise I've made for Hee Chul. I got my car keys out and went to my car and drove.

 

I went to the Han River. I sat and stared at the moon. I remembered about the promise I had made with him, that I will never forget about our friendship...forever.

 

 

I sat down and dipped my feet on the cold water. I know...somehow...somewhere, Hee Chul, my childhood friend whom I really love, is doing the same thing.
