"Jongdae! Kim Jongdae. Come here."

"What happened? Are you hurt? And what are doing here in the bathroom?"
Chen asked his wife.
Minseok handed something to him.
"W-What is this?" Chen nervously asked.

"That's a pregnancy test, you babo."

"You mean.."
"Yes! It is."Minseok happily squealed.
"When need to go see a doctor. Is Yixing ok?"
Chen said.
"No, stupid. He's a pediatrician. We need a obgyne."
Minseok smiled.

"Wow. Congratulations unnie." Junhee said on the other line.

Minseok was so excited to tell her bestfriends about the news. She can't contact Baekhee yet.

She had been waiting for this for almost two years.

"I'm here at the hospital now. I'm so excited." She said.

"I'm so happy for you unnie."

"Need to go now Junnie. Will call you again later."

"Ok unnie, you take care ok? bye" And she end the call.

"Let's go?" Chen said.
"The doctor is available now."

"I'm so happy Dae"  Minseok can't stop smiling

"I can see it in your face too honey."
Chen smiled at his wife.

Seeing his wife smiling like this mean so much to him.

"Hi!" A female doctor greeted them.
"I'm Dr. Yoon, Doctor Zhang told me you wanted to have an appointment.  May i asked if when did you do the test?

"This Morning." Minseok answered.

"Any symptoms? Like dizziness or cravings?" 

"Well it started last month, I feel so tired. Always." 

"Hmm. Let's do some ultrasound then"

Chen hold his wife's hand as she lay on the clinic's bed.

The doctor turned the machine on. She applied some gel on her belly and placed the transducer.

The doctor frowned a bit.

"Is their a problem?" Chen asked

"I can't hear a heartbeat." The doctor said
"But let me do some more test. I'll turn on the monitor to see the placenta."

Minseok's  heart suddenly beats faster.
She's scared, she's nervous. She wanted to cry.

She's been waiting for this.

Chen can see the worry on his wifes face. He held her hand tightly.

The doctor heavely sighed.

"What is it doctor. How's our baby?" Chen nervously asked.

"Mr and Mrs. Kim, I know that the both of you are so  excited for this. I've heard from Dr. Zhang that you've been trying so hard to have a baby." The doctor said.

"Dr. Yoo  please. Tell us. Whats the problem?" Chen asked again He's a bit angry now.

And he can see that Minseok is just trying to hold back her tears.

"Well, Minseok-ssi, It's an anembryonic pregnancy." Doctor Yoon finaly said.

"W-What do you mean by that doctor?" Minseok asked.

She's tearing up but she wanted to be strong for now.

"You see here, this is the sac." The doctor pointed at the monitor.
"Normally this sac should contain an embryo. Sadly yours is empty."

"Huh? What do you mean by that?"  Chen asked.

"The fertilized egg is indeed implanted on your womb, but there's no growth. Theres no baby. I'm sorry."

Minseok burst out crying. It hurts.

It so painful. Hours ago you were so happy with the news then by just one snap the happiness was all gone.

"We need to remove the empty placenta on her immediately before it could cause an infection." 

Chen just nodded at the doctor.

 He wanted to cry too. But he needs to be strong for her.

"We can still try honey."
Chen said as he hugged his wife. 

They were home now.
After the check up they decided to do the operation of taking  out the placenta inside Minseok's womb.

She was restless. She was depressed.

"Dae.. " Minseok called
"Ye?"

"Am I a bad person? Why can't we have the only thing we wish for?"
Minseok looked at him.Her eyes were full of sadness.

"You're the most wonderful person in the world honey." Chen said

"I'm sorry I'm such a useless wife to you. I can't even give you a baby."

"Yah Kim Minseok. Don't say that . You're not useless. We can still try right?"

"No we can"t. We've been doing this for 2 years. You know that I have a weak womb. I've been doing some excersice just to make it thicker for me to be able to carry a baby. Yet we failed again.
I'm so tired dae. Too tired on expecting. Too tired on trying." Minseok cried. 

Jongdae hated seeing his wife crying, but everything Minseok said was true. 

He pulled his wife into a tight embrace while asking his self how can he eased her pain? 

"Are you ok unnie?" Junhee asked

They were on their way to visit an orphanage. 

"Yes I'm fine Jun. I want to see the kids too.
And Yifan is nagging me to accompany you since he will not be around."
Minseok said.

Junhee could see that she was just forcing the smile on her face.

"Well, then let's go. The kids would be happy with this toys. And Sister Annie said that they have new kids on the orphanage."
Junhee smiled.

She wanted to make Minseok happy  too.

"Thank you so much Junhee. You're such an angel. And you too Minseok. The kids were so happy."
Sister annie said.

"Those were just small things Sister. And the kids happiness mean so much to us." Junhee smiled.

"Please say my Thank You to Yifan too."

"Oh I will Sister."

"Unnie! Unnie! We have a new baby here. She's pretty"
Sunye, one of the kids in the orphanage, said.

"Really? Wow" Junhee said.

"You want to see her? She's in the nursery right now" Sister annie said.

"Oh yes sister. Can we?" Junhee excitedly said.

"Ofcourse. Lets go."

The two ladies followed Sister Annie.
They went inside a cute room with walls painted in pink.

"Here she is"

 There in the small crib was one of the cutest baby girl they've ever seen.

She was peacefully sleeping.

"Waah, she's so pretty"  Junhee said
"She's so adorable"

"Isn't she" Sister annie smiled. "She's two months old. A man saw her inside the Myeongdong church."

"Oh my, is there any letter?" Junhee asked

"Yes. Her mother left her there with a note saying that she can't support her."

"What's her name?" Minseok asked.

"She's Luhan. That was the name written on her mothers note." Sister annie answered.

"She's Chinese?" Junhee asked.

"Yeah I guess."

"Does any one signed up already to adopt her?" Minseok asked again.

"Unnie? Are you..." Junhee suddenly looked at Minseok.

"Well, we have so many interested parents since she's a beauty. But were still checking their family background." Sister Annie said.

"I want to sign up too" Minseok said.

"Are you sure about this unnie?" Junhee asked.

"I wanted to have one Junnie. But it's been so hard for us for the past two years. I want to be happy, I want to see Jongdae smile too. Seeing him looking at those fathers who were carrying their babies, It made my heart hurts! A lot! Maybe she's the answer from all of my prayers.
I'll tell this to Jongdae, Sister Annie. Then will come back here to sign up."
Minseok said.

You can see from her eyes the eagerness.

"I'll wait for that then, Minseok." Sister annie smiled.

"You should rest for awhile honey. You look so tired."
Chen said.

He sat beside his wife who was sitting on the hammock.
They were on their garden.

The cool wind of spring is blowing slowly on the trees and flowers.

"It's ok, not tired. I'm happy and contented though."
Minseok smiled looking up at her husband.

"She's so pretty. Every day we learn new things from her."
Chen said cooing at the sleeping baby on Minseok's arms.
"I'm so glad you saw her on the orphanage."

"Yeah. I remembered the first time you saw her. You suddenly became her fanboy." Minseok laughed.

"Coz she's the cutest. How can a 4months old baby be this pretty? Look at her. She's so adorable."

"Indeed she is. She's our little bambi. Our blessing."

"Hey, princess I hope you'll grow up as pretty as your mommy ok? Daddy would be so proud of you."
Chen said kissing little lulu's forehead

"Oh she will dae."

"Thanks honey." Chen said.

"Ehh? For what?" Minseok asked

"For being such a wonderful person. For being the best mommy for Luhan. For being this patient. For loving me. I love you so" He then kissed minseok.

"Eyy why so cheesy Kim Jongdae. I love you too.
Thank you for accepting my flaws. Though i cant give you something you wish for."

"Don't be like that honey. We have lulu now. I love you more than anything else."

Luhan suddenly cried on her mommy's arms

"Oh and i love you too princess" Chen laughed.

XIUCHEN/CHENMIN everyone ^^ 

That mistake i did in one of the chapters gave me the idea to make this plot. I seriously want to post this on Luhan's Birthday but oh well ^^ 

I'm not a medical student back in college nor i don't have that much knowledge with any medical terms/apparatus, I just did my research ^^ so feel free to correct me. 

I'm not that good too with angst so.....
