It’s been a month since Minho’s confession and Minho couldn’t be more than happy because he and Yuri mostly spending every day together. With them being partners at work to hanging out in the weekend, just like this time.

“Where do you want to go, Yuri ah?”

“Huh?” He couldn’t help himself as he chuckles at Yuri’s clueless face.

“Why are you so cute hmm?” Minho holding out his hand as he pinches Yuri’s right cheek slightly. He hears Yuri let out a squeal that he finds amusing.

“Yah, stop teasing me!” He keeps laughing until he sees Yuri folding her hands in front of her chest and looks away.

“Aigoo the Kwon Yuri is sulking now, huh?” Minho touches her right arm as Yuri quickly shrugs it off. He smiles as he sees Yuri turns her back at him.

He moves closer toward her as he wraps his arms around her, back hugging her. He can feel Yuri froze for a moment which makes him think that he goes too far. So, he was about to release his hold but stops when he feels warm hands grabbing his arms.

Without words, he watches Yuri tightening his arms and circling them around her. She even grasps both of his hands while constantly playing with his fingers.

He rests his chin on her shoulder as his eyes never leave her side face. Her darkened hair, her eyes that are looking down to his fingers on her lap, her cute nose, her lips that are forming a faint smile. Minho can’t resist his heart that beats faster than before, his feelings for her that grow deeper, the warm and comfort to have her in his arms. Hence, he tries to express his love for her by saying, “I love you, Yul.”  

Minho instantly feels Yuri stop playing with his fingers, as she’s frozen on her spot. He notices a frown on her forehead and her biting her lips uneasily. He knows instantly that Yuri is hesitating on how to respond to his words. He gently turns her chin so they can face each other with Yuri trying to look anywhere but him.

He can clearly see guilt and fear shown in her eyes, as Yuri keeps avoiding his gaze.

“I’m sorry if I make you feel uncomfortable by saying that. But Yuri, don’t feel any burden please? You don’t have to say or do anything, it’s alright. I just want to let you know that you deserve to feel loved, that there’s this person that would always be with you and stay by your side.” He cups her face and caressed it soothingly. His eyes finally meet with the dark brown eyes that seem tired but still sparkle in some way to him.

“Thank you Minho ah. I’m feeling better and happier all this time. I owe you so much, really.” Minho smiles as he feels Yuri snuggles her head on his chest. He leans his chin on her head as he constantly her hair.

“How about we’re going on a vacation? I’ll ask Yoona, Seohyun, and maybe Jessica too.” He instantly nods his head to Yuri’s suggestion as the woman cheers happily before grabbing her phone to make a call.

Donghae let out a groan as he hears the beeping sound of a machine beside his head. He can smell a strong scent of antiseptic and feeling the hard bed against his back.

“Are you awake?” Upon hearing a faint voice, Donghae tries to move and react in any kind of way to proof that he already awake. Maybe he tries too harsh as the same voice ringing around his ear this time.

“Hey, take it slowly okay. Breathe…”

He did what he was told to do and feels rather calm now. He weakly opens his eyes just to see the plain white ceiling. He gradually moves his head a little and with his vision that is still blurry he could see a person standing beside his bed dresses in all white.

Maybe she is the doctor.

“Oh God, Donghae. You are Lee Donghae right?”

He blinks his eyes a few times until he finally could see the doctor clearly. Upon seeing the woman, he is shocked but he tries to hide it with him pretending to doesn’t know the woman.

He hears her releasing a long sigh. “Just what have you gotten yourself into now Donghae? Why I have to see you cover in blood like that? And who are those men in suit outside that has been waiting for you since yesterday?”

Donghae raises his eyebrow at the last question. They must be my team, and maybe the chief too. Gosh, I must have disappointed them for failing this mission. He isn’t taken aback with the amount questions that have thrown to him. He himself can’t deny that he also has questions for her that wandering around his head but he keeps silent instead. Now he is different, he has a new dreadful secret and by answering the doctor’s questions mean to uncover his secret that might cause danger to both of them.

He notices that she clicks her tongue impatiently and folds her arms across her chest. “Okay I’ll tell you this then. If this doesn’t make you respond than I don’t know what would.”
