“Taehyung ah… I just want you to know… I love you man!” Jimin said.

“Shut up…” Taehyung said and looked at Jimin. “You’re drunk as hell.” He said and hiccupped.

Jimin and Taehyung had just finished their mid-term tests a few hours ago. They were now hiding in one of the lecture halls, having a heart to heart talk session, drinking some beer that Jimin had brought from his dorm. The both of them are equally stressed out because as a second year Performing Arts students, they need to come out with an individual performance within a week. They have yet to decide what they wanted to do and the due date is getting nearer. Taehyung decided that they should at least chill out a while after battling with their tests and Jimin, being the one with the lower tolerance to alcohol, got drunk.

“Come on.” Taehyung said and puts his shoulder over Jimin. “Let’s get you home.”

“I’m not drunk.” Jimin said and pushes Taehyung away. “See, I can walk a straight line.”

Taehyung shook his head and grabs Jimin again. He knew that Jimin was drunk and he had to take him back to his dorm immediately before he does anything stupid like stripping in front of him. That happened once and left Taehyung scarred for life. They have known each other since elementary school and were just like brothers. They tell each other anything and everything. Taehyung was holding onto Jimin while walking to their dorm, he wanted to stop by his hyung’s dorm to return the car keys he borrowed the day before. While Taehyung was waiting for Jin to get downstairs, Jimin began singing to Taeyang’s Eyes, Nose, Lips.

“Shhhh!” Taehyung tries to shush him. “It’s late! You can’t sing this loud!” He said and covered Jimin’s mouth with his hands.

“NEOYE NUN, KO, IP…” And before he could finish, a shoe came flying out from the second floor and hit Jimin on the head.

“SHUT UP!” Someone shouted and both Jimin and Taehyung froze. Jimin picks up the red Converse that was on the ground and looks up.

“HEY MISTER! YOU DROP YOUR SHOE!” Jimin shouted back.

“I told you to shut up!” Taehyung said, quite louder than he expected.

“ARE YOU SURE YOU DON’T WANT IT BACK? I’M TAKING IT BACK WITH ME AND NAMING IT SHOEY!” Jimin shouted again.

“GODDAMNIT!” Taehyung shouted and tried to pull Jimin away.

The next thing they knew, they heard a loud bang and angry footsteps down the stairs. Taehyung gave up and hid, and the only place that he could think of is under Jin hyung’s car. He tried to call Jimin but he was frozen, standing there as if his feet were stuck to the ground.

“Jimin!” Taehyung called him but no response from Jimin. He just stood there and stares at the door.

The door swung open and an angry greyish brown haired guy came storming over.

“Do you know how late it is?” He asked and stares at Jimin.

“I… I….” Jimin stuttered.

“Do you have any idea how difficult it was to get some work done?” He asked again and Jimin’s eyes widen.

“Yoongi hyung… What are you doing…?” Another voice can be heard from a distance. It was a taller guy with messy hair and a sleepy face.

“Jungkook ah, I thought you were sleeping?”

“Your door slamming woke me up.” Jungkook said and yawned. “What’s wrong? I can hear you screaming from our room and that’s on the second floor.”

Jungkook looked at Jimin, and to Yoongi and back to Jimin again. He looked at the shoe that was on Jimin’s hands and back at Yoongi. He knew who Jimin is and he is confused.

“Hyung… Why is your shoe…” He didn’t finish his sentence yet, but he already got the idea. “You just threw that out from our window didn’t you?” He asked.

“He was being noisy!” Yoongi said and shrugged.

“You were writing lyrics weren’t you?” Jungkook asked and Yoongi nods.

Jungkook chuckled and at the corner of his eyes, he saw a hint of red colour and he turned. He knew what he saw and he blushed immediately. He knew immediately that it was his sunbaenim, his crush, Kim Taehyung, hiding under a car. He was panicking inside but he kept a straight face, he didn’t want Yoongi to notice him.

“Come on hyung, let’s go, let’s get back to sleep.” Jungkook said.

Yoongi looked at Jungkook and raised his eyebrows.

“It’s probably not him that was being loud anyway.” Jungkook said. “He probably was just picking up your shoe that probably was on the middle of the road.”

Jimin still stood there, confused.

“Right?” Jungkook suddenly asked Jimin.

He just nods slowly with his mouth hanging open.

“See?” Jungkook said to Yoongi. “You’re shouting at the wrong person.” He said.

“Gee fine…” Yoongi said and took his shoe from Jimin. “Sorry bout that.” He said and walks away.

Jungkook and Yoongi left Jimin standing alone in the middle of the road.

“Taehyung…?” Jimin called and Taehyung got out from under the car. “What just happened?”

“You just got in trouble and Jungkook saved you.”

“You know that guy?” Jimin asked.

“Dude, Jeon Jungkook, First year student.” Taehyung said.

“That Yoongi person is scary.” Jimin said.

“Are you awake now?” Taehyung asked and held Jimin’s head. “Sober enough?”

“No.” Jimin said. “I need to get home.”

“Taehyung?”

“Oh, hyung.” Taehyung turned and saw Jin walking towards him. “You’re outside?”

“Yeah, meeting just ended.” Jin said. “What’s up?”

“Here are your keys.” Taehyung said. “I filled the tank for you.”

“Thanks.” Jin said. “Hey Jimin.”

“Hey hyung.” Jimin said. “Great to see you.” He said and they fist bumped.

They chatted off for a while and head back home. Jungkook was peeking through the window, looking at Taehyung.

“What are you doing?” Yoongi asked while brushing his teeth.

“Nothing.” Jungkook said and closes the curtains.

“Move away.” Yoongi said and pushed Jungkook away. He looked out of the window and he knew exactly what Jungkook was looking at. “You’ve gotta be kidding me.”

“What?” Jungkook asked and blushed.

“Jeon Jungkook.” Yoongi looked at him “You’re so in love.”

“I’m not.”

“Then explain why are you peeking at Kim Taehyung over there.”

“Wait.” Jungkook looked at Yoongi. “Where does Jin hyung lives?”

“Really Jungkook?” Yoongi rolls his eyes. “He lives next door.”

“ARE YOU ING SERIOUS?”

“Language Jeon Jungkook!” Yoongi glares at Jungkook. “Yes, he lives next door. Didn’t you know that?”

“No wonder his car is always downstairs!”

Jungkook was still in his first year of university and Jin is already in his third year. Jin was always busy with club meetings and he is always home late at night and left early in the morning. Jungkook had never known that Jin lived next door; he always thought that he lived upstairs or just somewhere in the building.

“Dude go to bed.” Yoongi said and threw a pillow towards Jungkook. “You have classes tomorrow.”

“I did sleep.” Jungkook said and threw the pillow back. “But you decided to just wake me up”

“Well, not my fault.” Yoongi said and took the pillow Jungkook threw back to him and hugs it. “Blame it on the people singing downstairs.”

Jungkook laughed and climb onto his bed. He puts one of his arms under his head and sighs.

“What now?” Yoongi asks his roommate.

“Nothing.” Jungkook said. “Goodnight.”

Jungkook couldn’t stop but think about Taehyung hiding under Jin’s car. He smiles to himself. He met Taehyung during his first week of university and he got shocked by Taehyung’s friendliness. Taehyung was in charge of showing the freshmen around. Jungkook was all alone and Taehyung just started talking to him first. They became friends and they ended up going out for coffee every now and then.

“Dude I’m not going back with you today.” Jimin said to Taehyung.

“Meetings?” Taehyung asked.

“Yup.” Jimin nods. “We have an event coming up. Wanna come help?”

“Nope.” Taehyung shook his head. “Performance in a week, remember?”

“Oh right….” Jimin said and sighed. “What are you gonna do?”

“Sing. Probably.” Taehyung said and shrugged. “Or maybe act. You?”

“Dance probably.” Jimin said. “Got to go dude. Meeting starts in ten minutes.”

Taehyung waved and Jimin walks away towards their meeting room. Taehyung just stood here, leaning by the windowsill and looking at people walking around. He was going to wait for a while before going back to his dorm. Many people greeted him and waved towards him when they walk past him and that is because Taehyung is really famous in campus because of his good looks and his friendliness.

“Where are you going?” Taehyung grab Jungkook’s arm while he was walking pass Taehyung.

“Oh, sunbaenim.” Jungkook stop and looks at him. “I didn’t realize you were standing here.”

“Am I that invisible to you?” Taehyung asked jokingly and Jungkook laughed.

“Finished class?” Jungkook asked.

“Yup.” Taehyung said. “Gotta head home soon. Wanna go get coffee?”

“Sure.” Jungkook said. “I don’t have class till four hours later.”

“Literature?”

“Literature.” Jungkook nods and Taehyung laughs.

“Ugh.”

“I know right.”

Jungkook was feeling great. He felt so happy that Taehyung remembered his class schedule. His heart was thumping hard and his face was hot and he knew he was blushing. He tried to look away and avoid Taehyung’s gaze. Taehyung knew that Jungkook was feeling nervous. He knew that Jungkook was having a huge crush on him and he wanted to just mess around with him.

“Hey.” Taehyung called Jungkook. “You alright?”

“Huh?”Jungkook looked at Taehyung and he immediately turns away. Taehyung was looking directly at him. “Yeah, sure, sure.”

Taehyung smiled and the two of them walked towards the café that was in their campus. They ordered their coffee and Taehyung paid for both of it.

“Hyung, you didn’t have to.”

Taehyung winked. “My treat.” He said.

Jungkook blushed and looks at Taehyung who was sitting opposite of him. Taehyung had his legs crossed with one hand holding onto the steaming cup of coffee and the other hand holding onto his phone. He was checking his emails and he realized that Jungkook was staring at him. He smirked and looks at Jungkook. Jungkook realized that Taehyung had caught him staring and he immediately looks away.

“So I heard that you’ve been really popular among the girls nowadays.” Taehyung asked Jungkook. Jungkook looks at Taehyung and he froze.

“Oh that…” He said shyly. “I don’t know about that.”

Taehyung smiled at Jungkook being shy. Jungkook usually have this cocky aura when he is around girls and that had attracted a lot of girls, both juniors and seniors. He receives a little more than ten love letters every day, all crammed under his desk and in his locker. Even so, Jungkook doesn’t have many friends. People think that he is really arrogant and cold while in reality, he’s a fluff ball that doesn’t express much. Taehyung was different from Jungkook. He is famous for his bright rectangular smile, his nonstop talking and joking and his activeness around people. He is known as the sunshine guy in campus and everyone falls for his smiles and dorkiness.

On the other side of campus, Jimin was sitting by the meeting table in his club room, calculating for their budget for their next major event. He was just minding his own business when he suddenly heard the door slam open. He jumped and he looked up. Jimin’s jaw dropped open and he couldn’t avert his gaze from the person that was standing infront of him. It was Min Yoongi. He through that Yoongi was here to shout at him again so he immediately dart towards the small cubicle that they had in the corner of the room and peek from there.

“Alright guys, meeting starts now.” Yoongi said and he sat down by the meeting table. Jimin was confused.  He turned and looked at Hoseok, who was the vice chairperson of the club.

“Who is he…?” Jimin asked. Hoseok turned and laughed.

“He’s Min Yoongi, chairperson of our club.”

Jimin almost chocked on his own spit and his eyes went wide.

“WHAT?” He exclaimed.

“Shhhh.” Hoseok looked at him and shushed him.

Jimin immediately shuts up and he looks at Hoseok and then back at Yoongi. His gaze met with Yoongi’s and he immediately looks away. Yoongi smirks when he saw Jimin’s eyes darting away from his direction.

“Treasurer, report please.” Yoongi said and looked at Jimin.

Jimin gulped. He took out his report book and began flipping through the pages to look for the report he made a few days ago.

“So in conclusion, the budget for the field trip that we had been planning is… insufficient.”

“What?” Yoongi looks at Jimin. “Why?”

“Because…” Jimin gulped. “We have been spending more on the events that we have recently and the revenue is not quite enough to cover up our expenses.”

Yoongi’s gaze was cold. His eyes were expressionless and Jimin was scared. This was their first official meeting with the chairperson and he was nervous. Not to mention that he had just offended the chairperson last night with his loud singing.

“Program team, I need you to think of some ways to make money fast.” Yoongi said. “We need to do something to make this field trip a success.”

Jimin looks down and he sighed. He thinks that this is all his fault. They have been planning this field trip since the last semester and now its all going to fail because of him. Hoseok realizes that Jimin was being down, he gave him a gentle pat on the back and Jimin gave him a smile.

“I suggest that we can have some exhibitions or food street along the corridor…” One of the program team members said.

“Proposal.” Yoongi said. “Tomorrow.”

“What are you doing?” Namjoon asked as he rolled across Jungkook’s bed.

“Hyung can you stop?” Jungkook asked while pushing Namjoon away. “My bed is not huge enough for you to roll around.”

“Uh huh…” Namjoon peeked at Jungkook’s phone. “Stalking Kim Taehyung I see.”

“GO AWAY HYUNG.” Jungkook said and pushed Namjoon away.

“You don’t have to be shy you know that right?” Namjoon said and sticks his face next to Jungkook’s and peek at Jungkook’s phone.

Jungkook continue scrolling through Taehyung’s instagram profile and Namjoon stopped him and snatched the phone from Jungkook.

“Holy !”

“What?” Jungkook asked, impatiently.

“Who is this hottie?” He asked while showing a picture of Taehyung and Jin.

“It’s Jin hyung.” Jungkook said and impatiently took his phone back from Namjoon. “Why?”

“He’s extremely attractive.” Namjoon said and laughed. “Can I follow his Instagram? What’s his user name?”

“Hyung…” Jungkook pushes Namjoon away. “You’re acting like a creep.”

“Is there a problem? I’m just following his Instagram.”

“He lives next door.” Yoongi said and Namjoon shots up.

“Then let’s go say hello!”

“He’s not in.” Yoongi said and Namjoon slumps back into Jungkook’s bed.  “It’s really difficult to meet him. He’s always not at home.”

“Aww….” Namjoon lies on top of Jungkook’s . “What a waste.”

“Hyung…” Jungkook said and moves away. “STOP ATTACKING MY !”

“Both of you please shut up.” Yoongi said and continues scrolling his phone.

“Hyung.” Jungkook got up and gave Yoongi a headlock. “So… How’s it with Jimin hyung?”

“What are you talking about?” Yoongi asked and he pushes Jungkook away.

“Don’t act like you don’t know.” Jungkook said and points towards Yoongi’s phone. “I saw what you did there.”

Yoongi blushed. Sure he was stalking Jimin’s profiles on both Facebook and Instagram, he was on his way to add him on Snapchat too when Jungkook attacked him.

“He’s my club’s treasurer okay.” Yoongi locks his phone. “Is it wrong for a chairperson to get to know his committees?” He said and avoids Jungkook’s gaze.

“Uh huh…” Jungkook smirks. “Whatever you say hyung, whatever you say.”

Jungkook stops. His finger froze and his eyes widen. His jaw dropped and he looked at Namjoon.

“What?” Namjoon asked. “You look like a frog that has a loose jaw.”

“Taehyung hyung just texted me.” He said while staring at his phone, still shocked.

“What did he say?” Namjoon was as excited as Jungkook is.

“Go away hyung.” Jungkook pushes Namjoon away and rushes to the balcony. He opens Taehyung’s message and his eyes widen.

“He asked me to play the piano for his performance…?” Jungkook was confused as he walked back into the room.

“Ah, that.” Namjoon said while flipping through Jungkook’s comics. “Second year students are required to have individual performances, maybe he wanted you to play the piano while he sings? I don’t know you ask him.”

“Looks like someone is not going to be able to sleep tonight~~~” Yoongi said while continue scrolling though his phone.

Jungkook was indeed flustered. He immediately texted Taehyung back and screamed into his pillow.

“Are you that excited?” Namjoon asked.

“Just ignore him.” Yoongi said. “It’s not the first time he’s acting that way.”

Yoongi was going to work alone in the club room the next day in campus. He didn’t have classes till late afternoon so he went there to have some alone time. He was about to reach for the air conditioners remote when he realized that it was already on. He looked around but he couldn’t see anyone around. He shrugged and walk towards his desk. Just as he was about to start writing things in his notebook, the door opened and Jimin walked in.

“You scared me holy .” Jimin said when he saw a very pale skinned male sitting by the desk.

“That was supposed to be my line.” Yoongi said without even looking up from his desk. “What are you doing here?” He asked.

“I was working on the budgets and trying to look for sponsorships online…” Jimin said and went to his cubicle. “Wait, why are you here again?”

“Do I even need a reason to be here?” Yoongi asked and looked at Jimin.

“Nope.” Jimin shrink away. “You’re the boss. You do whatever you like.” He said and quietly flips his book.

Yoongi keep on glancing at Jimin from time to time. He couldn’t help but find Jimin really attractive when he was serious. It was totally different from the Jimin that he had seen the first time; holding onto his shoe and staring blankly back at him. Yoongi smiled and he continues working on his song. Yoongi kept thinking and writing that he forgot the time. It was already time for his class when he looks up from his notebook.

“Crap.” He murmured and stood up. Just as he was about to leave, he saw Jimin sleeping on his desk, with his hoodie covering his face. Yoongi smiles when he saw that and he walked over to Jimin. He doesn’t have the heart to wake him up so he left a note, asking him to lock the door and turn off the AC later. He looked around and gave Jimin his jacket just in case he got cold. Yoongi gave Jimin a last glance and he walked out.

Jimin woke up and it was already evening, he was freezing and that woke him up. He realized that there was a jacket on him and he looks around. Yoongi was gone and there was a note sticking on his forehead. He pulled it down and read it. He sighs and starts packing up. It’ll be dark soon and it’s scary to walk back to his dorm alone. He tries to call Taehyung but that kid’s phone was turned off. He stuffs Yoongi’s jacket into his backpack and pulls his hoodie tighter. He switches off the AC and lights and locks the door. It was eerie to be in the campus this late at night but he still have to get home. He was walking out of the gates when suddenly he heard someone calling his name. Jimin jumps and he slowly turns his head. He lets out a sigh of relief when he saw that it was Yoongi.

“You shouldn’t call people’s name like that.” Jimin said.

“Sorry.” Yoongi replied coolly. “You just woke up?” He asked and Jimin blushed.

“Yeah…” Jimin nods slowly.

“You’re going home alone?”

“Yup.” Jimin asked. “You too?”

“No.” Yoongi said. “I’m looking for Jeon Jungkook but he’s nowhere to be seen… Forget about that kid, let’s go.”

“Huh?”

“Don’t you want to go home?” Yoongi asked and Jimin nods. “Then let’s go.”

Jimin was shocked that the icy cold Min Yoongi would invite him to walk home together. He walks slightly slower than Yoongi to keep a distance. He doesn’t know why but the chairperson sure does give out a scary aura and Jimin don’t want to see Yoongi gets angry again. He followed Yoongi and the two of them walked slowly back home.

“I’ll see you soon hyung.” Jimin bowed. Yoongi nods and he walks off. Jimin sighs and he closes the door. He really thinks that Yoongi dislikes him.  He ended up texting with Hoseok the whole evening, discussing about Yoongi. Hoseok ensures him that Yoongi is just cold when it comes to formal things, he’ll be fine once they got to know each other more.

At the other side of the campus, Taehyung was sitting by the piano that was placed on the stage for the preparations of the individual performances. He likes to go to the auditorium to practice his singing there. It gives him a feeling that he really liked and it helps with the performance. Taehyung started practicing while sitting down but he just couldn’t hit the right notes. He stood up slowly and walked towards the centre of the stage and began to pace up and down to find the right feel. Jungkook was standing behind the auditorium door, peeking at Taehyung. He clenched his fist; he had made up his mind; his is going to confess to Taehyung today. Taehyung was so immersed in singing that he didn’t realize Jungkook walking onto the stage and sitting down by the piano.

Taehyung stopped once he heard Jungkook playing the piano. He turns and saw Jungkook playing the piano gracefully, his long slender fingers were playing across the keys playing a sweet melody. Taehyung smiled and he walked towards Jungkook. Jungkook stopped playing and he stood up. He wanted to walk towards Taehyung to tell him that he likes him, but being the clumsy kid he is, his feet got caught on the prop that was prepared there and he fell. Taehyung got shocked and he wanted to save Jungkook from his fall. Jungkook closed his eyes but he landed on something soft; it was Taehyung. Taehyung groaned.

“Are you alright?” Taehyung asked while smiling.

“I’m so sorry hyung!” Jungkook said and he wanted to get up but he was stopped by Taehyung. “Huh?” Jungkook blinked and stared at him.

“Let me take a closer look at you.” Taehyung said and continues staring at Jungkook. “Wow.”

“What is it?” Jungkook asked.

“I never knew you were this cute.” Taehyung said and he smiled.

Jungkook blushed. His cheeks went really red and he doesn’t even dare to look at Taehyung’s eyes. Jungkook got up and he immediately runs away, out of the auditorium. Taehyung stoop up and he laughs. Jungkook is really cute, Taehyung thought. He knew that Jungkook really likes him but he himself is really unsure of his own feeling. He shrugged and continues practicing his singing.

After what happened at the auditorium, Jungkook has been running away from Taehyung every time he sees him. He would always run away or hide in the locker whenever he sees Taehyung walking towards his direction. Taehyung realized Jungkook was running away from him and he wasn’t sure why. Taehyung was sitting at the school cafe by the window, thinking hard. Jimin saw him and walked towards him.

“Yo, what are you thinking about?” Jimin asked.

“Huh?” Taehyung looked at him and sighed. “Nothing.”

“Thinking of someone you like?” Jimin teased.

“No way.” Taehyung said. “I don’t have anyone that I like.”

“You’re kidding me.” Jimin said. “Are you even sure?”

Images of Jungkook flashes across Taehyung’s mind. He blinks. No way, he thought.

“Someone must have flashed across your mind, right?” Jimin .

“Shut up.” Taehyung said and gave him a slight punch. “What about you then?” He asked.

Jimin sighs. “Forget about that.” Jimin laughs. “I don’t.”

“Liar.” Taehyung said and he laughs.

“Oh right!” Jimin suddenly remembers something. “I have a report to do! I’ll be heading to the library now. See you later Tae!”

Taehyung sighs. Even his best friend doesn’t have time for him. He stood up and walks out of the café. He was thinking of Jungkook all this while. Maybe he really did fell for Jungkook all this while but he didn’t know. Taehyung stood beside the place that he always met Jungkook to wait for him to walk past. And just as he has predicted, he saw a glimpse of the dark haired boy and off he went, running away. Taehyung smiled to himself and he followed Jungkook.

Jungkook sighed and walks into one of the empty classroom. It’s not that he wanted to avoid Taehyung, but he felt shy whenever he sees him. He can’t even make eye contact with Taehyung. He was sighing to himself and suddenly the door opened. It was Taehyung.

“Why are you avoiding me?” Taehyung asked. Jungkook was shocked by Taehyung’s question.

“I wasn’t.” Jungkook lied.

“Then how come I’ve never seen you for almost a week?” Taehyung asked. “You always walk by that corridor for you next class.”

Jungkook blushed. He feels really happy that Taehyung remembers where he was going.

“How… How did you know…?” Jungkook asked. “You’ve always remembered my timetable?”

This time round, it was Taehyung’s turn to blush. “Kinda….” He said. “It was unintentional though.”

The two of them kept quiet for quite a while, avoiding each other’s gaze.

“Jeon Jungkook.” Taehyung suddenly said. Jungkook looks at him. Taehyung walked closer and closer towards him until Jungkook’s back was against the wall. “I guess… I really did fell for you.” He said.

Jungkook blushed. He smiled and he looks at Taehyung in the eye. “Hyung… I like you too.”

Taehyung lean closer towards Jungkook and gave a kiss on his lips. Jungkook’s eyes widen and he kissed back.

“You should’ve told me earlier.” Jungkook said when they pulled away from each other.

“I didn’t know that I would fall for you.” Taehyung said and kisses him on the forehead. “And now I do.”

“I see someone is in love.” Jimin said and smirked.

“Shut up.” Tahyung said and blushed.

“Wanna help out later?” Jimin asked.

“I can’t.” Taehyung blushed. “Got a date with Junkook later.”

“Pfft.” Jimin teased. “That’s how it feels like when your friend abandons you to go dating.”

“I’m sorry Jimin.” Taehyung apologized. “I’ll make it up to you soon.”

“I’m just joking.” Jimin said and pats him on the back. “I’m busy these days anyway.”

“Yoongi is still giving you a lot of problems?” Taehyung asked.

“He’s not.” Jimin smiles. “Well, not really but yeah, I think he hates me.”

“Really?” Taehyung asked. “I guess you just have to do your part then.”

Jimin nods. He is really tired nowadays. He’s been working later than usual to look for sponsorships. He really doesn’t want to disappoint his club members and really want this field trip to work out. Even so, he is getting really tired. His grades are slipping and he hasn’t even done preparing for his performance next week. Jimin sits down quietly in the club room, he’s all alone, thinking hard. He sighs and took out a piece of paper and begins writing in it. He puts it in an envelope and he leaves it on Yoongi’s table. He sighs as he glances at the room and turns of the lights.

Yoongi walks into the club room the next morning just to see the envelope that Jimin has left yesterday. He walks up to the table and reads it.

“Letter of Resignation…?” Yoongi reads to himself. “Jimin?” He opens the letter and reads it. Yoongi sighs after finished reading it. “That idiot.” He said to himself. He sighs and walks slowly towards the lecture hall that Jimin was going to have his next class at. He peeked inside and saw Jimin there, silent reading. He waited for the class to end and he walked straight right in after every one walks out.

“Yoongi?” Jimin was shocked when he saw Yoongi. “What are you doing here?”

“Explain this.” Yoongi said and threw the envelope on the table. Jimin was silent.

“I have to.” Jimin said after a few minutes of silence.

Yoongi raised one of his eyebrows. “Why.”

“I don’t think I can do it.” Jimin said. “I’m not fit for that job. I’m useless.” He said.

Yoongi kept quiet.

“I didn’t want me to be the person that will be the cause of the failure of the club.” Jimin continued saying. “I’m so sorry Yoongi hyung, I’m useless.”

Yoongi clenched his fist. He couldn’t take it anymore and he pinned Jimin to the wall. Jimin’s eyes widen.

“What are you doing… Hyung?” Jimin looks at him.

Yoongi leans in and kissed him on the lips. Jimin got shocked and was frozen on the spot; he didn’t know what just happened.

“If you say you’re useless again, I’ll kiss you until you suffocate.” Yoongi said and winked.

Jimin got shocked. “Hyung?” He looked at him.

“Did you hear what I’ve just said?” Yoongi asked.

Jimin blushed and he nods. He then buries his face into Yoongi’s chest. “Thank you hyung.”

“And don’t worry about the field trip.” Yoongi said and pats Jimin’s head. “I know what to do.”

Jimin smiles, it’s nice to be in Yoongi’s embrace. Even thought Yoongi was not any taller than Jimin, but it felt so great being with him. And since that day onwards, Jimin and Yoongi had been with each other every day. Jungkook and Taehyung had been dating each day too, leaving Namjoon alone.

“How could you guys do this to me?” Namjoon asked Yoongi and Jungkook. “Do you know how lonely I am?”

“Sorry hyung.” Jungkook blushed. “But Taehyung hyung has been really busy and we need to practice together.”

“And I need to finish preparing for our field trip.” Yoongi said. “Go get a boyfriend then.”

“Ask your Taehyung to introduce me to his hyung…Please~” Namjoon said and made puppy eyes towards Jungkook.

“Uhh…” Jungkook pushes Namjoon away. “I’ll try… But Jin hyung is really busy.”

In the end, thanks to Taehyung’s help, they did manage to get Jin and Namjoon to meet up. Taehyung had tricked Jin into following him and Jungkook to a triple date with Yoongi and Jimin to the amusement park. And of course, Jimin and Yoongi bought Namjoon with them. Jin was shy in front of strangers, so of course he keeps quiet when he met Namjoon. Namjoon was really excited to meet Jin and he even dress up nicely just to give Jin a good first impression.

“So….”Namjoon said when he and Jin were left alone. The other two pair of couples just ran off, excited to try out all of the rides there. “Do you want coffee?” He asked.

Jin smiled and he nods gently. That smile, however, made Namjoon’s heart skipped a beat. He smiled back and walks towards one of the café and bought coffee for him and Jin. He gave it to Jin and Jin flashed him another killer smile. Namjoon froze when he saw that smile and he smiled back awkwardly.

“Jin hyung…?” Namjoon said and Jin looked at him. “I can call you hyung right?”

Jin nods. “You’re Namjoon right? That’s a nice name.” He said and Namjoon blushed.

There was a long pause of awkward silence between the two of them. Namjoon didn’t know what kind of conversation to make with Jin and all he can do is peek at him. Jin did caught Namjoon peeking at him a few times and he found that Namjoon was cute. He didn’t know what to say to Namjoon either as he already knew that Namjoon was quite famous in campus for his amazing rapping skills and composing talent. Jin was also secretly Namjoon’s fan but he was afraid that he might scare Namjoon away.    

“Why don’t we go try out some of the rides?” Namjoon suddenly said.

Jin looked at him, he smiled and nods. He followed Namjoon to the ride that Namjoon chose, which was the Ferris wheel. The two of them was facing each other and both of them blushed. Once again, they fell into awkward silence. Namjoon looked down from the Ferris wheel and he saw Jungkook and Yoongi smirking at him. He knew that they were laughing at him for being shy in front of Jin. After they got off the ride, Jin went straight to the toilet. And while waiting for him, Namjoon spotted a child crying, alone and probably lost. Namjoon saw him crying and couldn’t help but ran towards him.

“Hey… Are you okay?” Namjoon asked.

“I’m lost.” The kid said and cried harder. “I want my omma!”

Namjoon got shocked. He didn’t know what to do but to just buy an ice cream and gave it to the child.  That did help stop the crying but Namjoon still didn’t know what to do with the child. He pats the now calmed down child on the head and he smiles. Jin was walking out of the toilet just to see Namjoon smiling towards the kid. His was smiling so gently that his dimple was showing. Jin’s heart was immediately melted by that smile.

“What’s wrong?” Jin asked.

“He’s lost… And I don’t really know what to do with him.” Namjoon said and laughed awkwardly.

“Maybe you should bring him to the information desk.” Jin said. “Let’s go together.”

They bought him to the information centre and the child finally found his parents. Namjoon sighs when the kid finally was united with his parents.

“Seems like you like kids a lot.” Jin said.

“Yeah.” Namjoon nods. “But still, I am afraid to carry him or anything because you know, I’m clumsy and I am scared that I might drop him.”

Jin laughs. “You’re really cute.” He said and that made Namjoon blush.

“Hey hey you two!” Taehyung came running towards them. “Having fun?” He asked and nudged Jin.

Jin shushed him and blushed. “It was quite fun.” He said. “What about you?”

“Of course.” Taehyung said and looks towards Jungkook’s direction. “I’ll be going now~ Have fun~” He added and ran off to look for Jungkook. Jin and Namjoon were left alone again. The two of them walks towards one of the benches and sat down. The two of them chatted away and even exchanged phone numbers.

“To tell the truth…” Namjoon suddenly said. “I’ve been secretly crushing on you for quite some time now.”

Jin’s eyes widen and he stares at Namjoon. He couldn’t really believe what Namjoon has said so he just kept on staring at Namjoon. Jin has heard rumours of Namjoon being a player but in the reality, Namjoon is an idiot when it comes to dating, or flirting. Never in his life has he ever been in a relationship before because he is always too shy to talk to the person he likes. But Jin didn’t know all this, he just thought that Namjoon was just joking and wasn’t taking him seriously.

“Come on Namjoon, stop playing.” Jin said and laughed awkwardly.

Namjoon’s shoulders drooped. He knew it. He knew that he is not good enough for Jin. Jin must have thought that he is just a young kid that doesn’t know anything. Namjoon sighs. Jin realized the change of emotion in Namjoon, from someone that is bubbly and nervous to sad and full of emotions.

“I’m not joking.” Namjoon said and smile. “But I’m sure to show you that.”

Jin looks at Namjoon. He couldn’t believe that Namjoon just confessed and he had just rejected him. He felt that Namjoon was moving too fast. Is he just jealous that his friends are already in a relationship or is he genuinely wanted to be in a relationship with him? Jin thought hard. He was sad to see Namjoon sad. The two of them sat there in awkward silence. Both of them let out a sigh of relief when they say the other two couples came back.

“I’m hungry.” Jungkook said. “What’s up?” He asked Namjoon.

“Nothing.” Namjoon said and stood up. “Let’s go for dinner. I’m famished.”

Taehyung looked at Jin and the two of them made eye contact. He asked Jin what happened and Jin just told him that he will tell him back home. They were quiet in the car too and that made Jimin and Taehyung really uncomfortable. Jin was just driving quietly and Taehyung who was beside him felt awkward. They ended their dinner quickly and all of them went home.

“I’m staying over at Taehyung’s place today.” Jungkook told Yoongi and he pouts.

“Aww I’m alone again?” He asked. “Jimin can you…” And before he could finish his sentence, Jimin was already shaking his head.

“Sorry Yoongi, I need to work on my performance tonight.” He said and Yoongi sighs.

“Namjoon, wanna come over?” He asked. “You can have Jungkook’s bed all to yourself.” He said and Namjoon just nods slowly. He remembers that Jin lives next door to Yoongi and he peeks at Jin. Jin just continued driving calmly.

When Namjoon and Yoongi were alone in the room, Yoongi was the first to shower. He warned Namjoon to not touch his bed as he has not showered yet and he didn’t want Namjoon to dirty his bed. Namjoon wasn’t even paying attention to him; he just sat on Jungkook’s chair and stared at the ceiling. Yoongi sensed that something was wrong with the annoying Namjoon today so he let him have his alone time while he went showering. Namjoon sighs to himself and without realizing, he’s been sighing once every five minutes. And that seriously bothers Min Yoongi a lot.

“Namjoon ah, go shower.” He said and tossed Jungkook’s towel towards him.

“Yes hyung.” He replied and stood up, walked like a zombie towards the bathroom.

“You can just take anything of Jungkook to wear.” Yoongi said. “Even his underwear. He doesn’t mind as long as you return it.”

Namjoon wasn’t even listening anymore. He’s deep in his own thoughts. He just lets the cold water hits him, he felt nothing. He was thinking of ways to let Jin know that he is not some naïve, young kid that just wants to play around with other people’s feelings.

“Kim Namjoon.” Yoongi knocks on the bathroom door. “You’ve been in there for almost an hour now. What are you doing?”

“I’ll be done soon!” Namjoon answered and he realized that he had not yet even washed himself. He quickly finishes showering and changes his clothes.

“I thought you fell in the toilet or anything.” Yoongi said while playing on his phone.

“Hyung.” Namjoon plopped onto Jungkook’s bed. “Let me ask you.”

“What?” Yoongi asked without looking up from his phone.

“How did you manage to get Jimin?” He asked and Yoongi looks up.

“Look Namjoon.” Yoongi sits up and looks at Namjoon. “You might think that Jimin is too perfect for me…” He said while leaning closer to Namjoon.

“Whoa whoa whoa bro.” Namjoon flicks Yoongi’s forehead. “I’m not saying anything. Jimin, he’s perfect for you. I just want to know how do you get guys?”

Yoongi sits back up straight. “Oh… Haha…” He laughs awkwardly. “I don’t know. I just confessed.”

“Huh?” Namjoon looks at him. “I did that and that did not work.”

“You did what?”

“I kinda confessed to Jin.” Namjoon said and shrugged. “Just now.”

“Dude, you’re moving too fast.” Yoongi said. “You’ve got to at least do something that can make him felt like you really like him.”

“I know but I really do like him.” Namjoon said and pouted.

“Namjoon. You’re a little too naïve.”

“I know.” Namjoon sighs. “And I hated that.”

“Some guys like it.” Yoongi said. “Don’t force it.” He added. “Just be yourself.”

Namjoon sighs. He couldn’t sleep that night, thinking of lyrics and songs to be written. He had made up his mind to write a song for Jin.

“Hey hyung.” Namjoon called Yoongi. “You awake?”

“What?” Yoongi asked, a little annoyed.

“I need your help.” Namjoon said. “I need you to write a melody for me.”

“What for?”

“Jin hyung.”

“Oh come on.” Yoongi sighs. “But that is a good move. Good move. Get up Namjoon, get up.” Yoongi literally climbs out of the bed and turns on the lights. “We’re working tonight.”

Namjoon laughs. Yoongi can be weird at times and unpredictable. Maybe that is why Jimin likes him.

“But if this fails then I’m not going to bother him anymore.” Namjoon said the next morning. They’ve worked for a few hours and it was not even halfway done. “Why am I even doing this?”

“Well, if it makes you happy, then I’m fine with it.” Yoongi said and smiled.

“Thanks hyung.” Namjoon smiled. “We should sleep now. Jimin will murder me if you got sick.”

After about two weeks of hard work and sleepless nights, Jimin was getting annoyed that his boyfriend was always occupied by Namjoon. Jungkook too was a little annoyed, even thought he really love staying over at Taehyung’s place, but Namjoon has been wearing his clothes and he need to do more laundry. Namjoon had been texting Jin throughout the two weeks, although Jin rarely texted back. That made Namjoon sadder as he thinks that Jin might really hate him now. Yoongi and Taehyung assure him that Jin rarely replies anyone’s texts. He even rarely replies Taehyung and Taehyung is his brother.

“Hyung can you please bring your own clothes next time?” Jungkook asked when he saw Namjoon wearing one of his favourite plain shirts.

“Sorry Kookie.” Namjoon said, sipping from his Starbucks cup. “I’ll wash them, I promise.”

“That’s the third time you’ve said that.” Jungkook said and laughed. “It’s okay hyung, as long as you get to successfully confess to Jin hyung.”

“We’ll see…” Namjoon said and smiled weakly.

“Done.” Yoongi said and hands the finished song that he and Namjoon had recorded. “Dude, that’s our hard work, don’t mess up your confession.” He joked.

“Okay, that’s it.” Jimin suddenly burst through the door. “Everyone out, except you Min Yoongi, you need to SLEEP!” He said and pushes everyone out.

“But I live here.” Jungkook said.

“Go stay at Taehyung’s place.” Jimin said and closed the door.

“He is pushy at times.” Namjoon said and laughs.

“You don’t even know.” Jungkook said and sighs. “Well, I’m heading to Taehyung’s place now, want to tag along?”

“Nah.” Namjoon said. “I’m going home to get some rest.”

Namjoon went home and slept for eight hours straight. He woke up at night, hungry. And since he doesn’t know how to cook, he boiled some water and ate cup noodles as dinner. He got lonely suddenly and he didn’t want to bother Jungkook or Yoongi. He knows that they are probably busy dating and he’s all alone. He decided to take a walk around, cure some of his boredom. He took his jacket and went out. Namjoon walks slowly around the dorm area and he passed Taehyung’s dorm. He found a place to sit down and began to sing the song that they have worked on. He was looking for his phone when he realized that the CD that Yoongi gave him is in his jacket. He took it out and suddenly made a decision to go look for Jin.

Namjoon walks straight towards Jin’s dorm and walk upstairs. He was literally outside of Jin’s room, getting ready to knock on the door but he gave up last minute. He sighs and walks away. Just as he was about to exit the building, someone grabbed his arm and he turned around. It was Jin.

“Hyung.” Namjoon was startled by Jin’s sudden action. “What are you doing here?”

“I live here.” Jin said. “What are you doing here?”

“Oh… Haha…” Namjoon laughed awkwardly. “Came here to look for Yoongi but he’s not here.”

Jin kept quiet and looks at Namjoon. “Liar.” He said after a few minutes of silence.

“Okay, you’ve got me.” Namjoon said while looking on the ground. “I was here to give you this.”

Jin looks at Namjoon and looks down. He saw Namjoon giving him a CD and he took it. “What is this?” He asked.

“It’s just a little something me and Yoongi wrote for you.” Namjoon said, blushing. “Well, Yoongi did most of the work, I just wrote the lyrics.”

Jin kept quiet for a while. “Why don’t you come in for some coffee since you’re here?” He asked.

Namjoon shook his head. “I don’t think I deserve to go in.”

“Why not?” Jin asked.

“I really liked you hyung.” Namjoon said and Jin kept quiet again. “And that’s the reason why.” He added when he realized Jin wasn’t giving him any reaction. “I guess I’ll see you soon, I guess.” Namjoon said and walks away. 

Jin stood at his spot for a few minutes, looking at Namjoon walking away slowly. He looks at the CD that Namjoon gave him and he looks back at Namjoon. Jin smiles and he ran towards Namjoon. He grabs his arm again and Namjoon turned, shocked.

“Why don’t you try confessing again?” Jin asked.

“What…?”

Jin nods. “Try again.”

Namjoon sighs. He looks at Jin and he gave him a warm smile. “Hyung, I really do like you.”

Just as he finished talking, Jin gave him a huge hug. He pulled away a few minutes later and gave him a peck on the cheek. “See?” Jin said. “I like you too Kim Namjoon.”

Namjoon was still dazed at the peck on the cheek that Jin gave him. He stares at Jin and he blinks. “Are you seriously considering being my boyfriend?” He asked.

“What consider? I am already your boyfriend.” Jin said and blushed.

Namjoon smiles, he takes Jin into his embrace and hugs him tightly.

“Did you have dinner yet?” Jin asked suddenly.

“I did have cup noodles…”

Jin gasps. “No boyfriend of mine has cup noodles for dinner. Come over right this instance so I can cook for you.”
